Hmmm cherries so I should also get the 12 do you think? I am 5'5 what are they like round your bum?

and what size are you in the relaxed printed trousers?

Reductions are poor, but justifying my Hush spends this season so far at least I ordered a couple of tees, shorts and the grecian dress. The site was running very slow so gave up there!

I've just ordered another pair of the star jeans too in the 8 to see if the fit is any better.

Laska, I am wearing a 10 in the relaxed printed ones - so down a size in them, but up one in the monacos. The monacos sit just above my ankle bone in the 14, and the waist just a tiny bit below my belly button. The bum is loose and relaxed, but I wouldn’t say droopy.

hmm.. reviews say loose but short and several people say size down , .. I dont have much of a bum , I think I'll stick with 10 and see.. can always send them back

They are short Laska - I tried them on in JL and found they were half way up my leg in my usual size. I'm 5'7 though so if you're a bit shorter they might be fine. SoYo has them too, I think she found them ok in her usual size if I remember correctly but I might be wrong.

oh well.. looks like ill have to take my chance on them anyway ella, and cherries they are OOS in the 12 anyway ..

laska you’ll be fine in the Monaco size 10, I have 12 but not snug by any stretch of the imagination and could easily go down a size. Well done on the weight loss! I’ve managed only a couple of pounds so far (I’m not consistent enough) must try harder!

I have two pairs of Monaco trousers. I wear them as cropped trousers (that’s how they we’re originally photographed on the site IIRC. I live them. Would look stupid on me if I pulled them down to their full length so I pull them up a bit on my calf.

In the sale I got a lilac boyfriend linen jumper, my favourite jeans which were last year’s faded boyfriend (in a smaller size) and full price denim pencil skirt as I was paying for shipping anyway

I will try and recover the SoyYo account btw but it’s been a bit mad with work so for now I’m Volver (means “to return” in Spanish whereas SoyYo means “It’sMe”)

So upthread someone was asking for jacket recommendations and the Fitzgerald jacket in the sale is really good, I’ve worn mine lots for work this spring.
On the Bryce stripe culottes I agree they’re huge, I have the 12 but after wearing them I realised I should have gone for the 10 (in current podgyness) or even an 8...I did think about ordering again but since I’ve barely worn mine I decided I’ll just have to live with the looser look.

I got: star jeans, Stella t, stripe t (blush with rose gold stars), hibiscus v neck t. I really like Hush t as you can tell the fit more than the quality and at sale price I was in! Stella summer jumper and Stella reversible jumper to choose from not planning on keeping both.

I really wanted the Amie khaki joggers but only L available (sniff) so thought I’d try the printed camo joggers instead.
Oh and a pair of Frances trousers in navy blue for work.

I've just had a browse through the sale and seen the Audrey jacket which looks lovely.

I'm VERY cash-strapped though so I need any purchase to really work for me!!

Has anyone got this in either cream or black and can recommend or otherwise? I have a very long body so it may look too weirdly cropped on me I guess... Also not really sure what to wear either of the colours with, I love the way they've styled it on the site with light-coloured blue boyfriend jeans and a Tee but I don't really do boyfriend jeans myself, I tend to wear tighter-fitting ankle-crops (Uniqlo crop jeggings) and I don't know if the jacket would look a bit frumpy and less cool worn with that style bottoms?

I should just order and try, shouldnt I? But returns are tricky for me as getting to a post office is HARD where we are...

I’ve been pretty good lately and didn’t bother with other retailers sales this year as I do have a lot of lovely clothes but Hush I do find extremely hard to resist

It does look very versatile and my finger hovered but I do have an awful lot of jackets to justify another one. It may be reduced further in a couple of weeks but then it’s pot luck whether it’s available in your size...just something to bear in mind if you’re not 100% sure

I stayed up and ordered two sizes of star jeans, khaki star cut out and love saves the day tee. I stupidly didn't use the free delivery code. Am not too bothered about that but it means I will have to pay returns.
If I place another order- fancy a stripe tee, could I use the returns label that comes with that do you know?

I am currently entirely jacket-less so can probably justify it more! I had to throw away a beloved cream-and-black silk blazer a few months ago because it had got so stained and sweaty over many years; this wouldn't replace it really, beacuse it was an amazing piece (bought before DD when I still had spare cash!) but it would be useful for the many occasions when a cardi feels a bit drab...

Reviews on the site seem divided, some people love it, others think the material is thin and cheap... I WANT thin material though as I get very hot!!

Yes, I have the black Audery - an emergency work purchase! It’s a versatile jacket, could easily wear with jeans, but I’ve kept it for meetings etc. Soft, structured fit but not fabric if you know what I mean - it’s not at all stiff. I bought a 12, at a point where I was still a 14, and it worked fine.

I don’t know why I seem to need a bigger size than everyone else though. I think it’s because I have relatively slender limbs and my podge sits between my collar bones and my hip bones. Either that or I really do wear everything far too big.

Thx v much indeed, cherries... good to know about the sizing. I tend to find Hush sizing large on me. How is the crop factor on the jacket?! Is it v short or just a 'light' crop, would you say?

Do the tshirts shrink at all and how long are they? My scar is still quite red and sore im worried i wont get my wear out of anything too Summery. Im guessing i wont be wearing the jeans for a while.

Each I really like Hush T’s and buy in M for a nice lose fit (size 14 on top in non vanity sizing) I think they’re a good length but not super long either...the quality is not fabulous and they’re quite thin but not see through but I really like how they fit me and that’s why I keeping restocking.
I’ve never had any shrink in the wash but I wash all my Hush things in a 30 degree delicates cycle.

I left it at my mums or I’d have shown you, Jessi. It’s not a short crop, because I just can’t wear those. I wear it with Boden Richmond trousers quite often (sit just below the belly button) and it easily covers the waist by a couple of inches. I’m 5’7 and my inside leg is 29, so my height is fairly evenly distributed between trunk and legs.
