*dresses

No, I haven’t worn it yet. I was hoping to wear it tomorrow in London but I’ve got some sort of allergic reaction on my arms - not sure if it’s the new sunscreen or something else. Anyway, they look horrible, all red and the skin is puffy, plus I don’t want to put sunscreen on top in case it makes them worse,so I’m in long sleeves for a few days.

My order arrived.

Pale denim boyfriend jeans in 12 - perfect. Delighted to get them as I regretted not going down a size last year (they have give in them unlike the darker BF jeans and the star jeans).

Pencil denim skirt in 12 - also love this. Perfect length on me (5' 7").

Linen V jumper in lavendula (?) - going back. Just a weird shape and not worth £30. I got a similar light fabric sweater (albeit it in burgundy) from Zara for €13 and I expect it would last as long.

Still waiting to hear if they will let me return the portobello dress. The 14 was too big on the skirt part but the shoulder shape on the 12 is just wrong for me and emphasises the slightly saggy skin under my armpits :(

So hot here in London today..my daughter did her first sports day this morning, it was roasting!

miffy why might you not be able to return the Porto dress?

Im not impressed with the customer service they keep passing me from one person to another. They charged me for four things but three turned up. On the note there is a line through the denim skirt does that mean its coming separate or its out of stock? No-one seems to beable to answer that question.

The Marissa can be hoiked up a bit too.. not really sure where the waistband is supposed to go!

Were you actually charged for it, each? They don’t take the money till they dispatch it, so it just shows as pending on the cc, then the final amount is taken.

Not sure @each. I think maybe you are best emailing them? I never phone them and apart from one time, have got back to me pretty quick.

Just predecessor the Grecian dress in the blue flowery print. Probably need an 8 as I know they come up big but no 8s left so trying a ten.

Is it the blue paintbrush print. The Grecian dresses are lovely. I couldn't get a bra to wear with them and sold it on ebay but really regret it. I loved the one I had. You need to size down though. They are really generous.

I managed to get the Grecian top in radiance. It is an absolutely beautiful color. Wish the other Grecian tops weren't OOS. I was going to send back the tile print one but even although its a size too big, I put the shoulder adjusters to the highest setting and It looks fine. The 10 is better but the 12 will do. I love it. So comfy, hide lumps and bumps and look floaty and effortless.

Dave I am out of the 28 day returns period. I received the dress on May 22. Now, given the dress is still in stock at full price I am hoping they will allow me return it (they did before with a similar situation) but I don't want to fire it off to them only to be told it is too late. Returns take about a week for me via my forwarding service.

It does say 14days dor sale stuff. I have emailed them ( saying that I must be one of thier best customers and it will be 3 weeks before I can even try the stuff ) and asked if they will accept beyond 14 days for refund or credit ( they have to give credit I think under sale of goods legislation). of mmey stuff is JL though they will usually refund for ages or give credit vouchers
