I don't get it. People are styling it as a dressing gown. It is a dressing gown!!! I wouldn't wear that out as it looks like night attire!

@never, great news💐

pixelchick10 · 21/06/2018 17:30

Thanks Never. They sound good. Maybe time to dig them out of the wardrobe again! Hopefully we have more summer ahead ...

neveradullmoment99 · 21/06/2018 17:35

Comment Confused

This is true to size and feels nice against the skin. I use mine as a dressing gown.
eh?

Hi Eve, thank you for your review. We love the versatility of this kimono and that you've styled it as nightwear. Love the hush team x

Sorry if you purchased the above item Blush I just cannot imagine someone wearing this out and about.

Never great news for your Mum! What a relief for you.
Re the kimono (aka pyjamas) I saw a few Instagrammers in those.. obviously Hush 'gifted' quite a lot to a select few and it had the desired effect if they've all sold out!
Can't understand it myself, There is no way on this earth I'd wear those out and about as day wear!

neveradullmoment99 · 21/06/2018 17:40

Thanks Smile x
Glad I am not alone in my thoughts about the kimono.
My order[s] are on their way.
Did you order anything?

Ellapaella · 21/06/2018 17:40

Although maybe I shouldn't say that out loud! Also sorry to anyone who may have them.. I'm sure you're rocking the kimono vibe Grin

Ellapaella · 21/06/2018 17:41

Just a second pair of star jeans for now.
I'm sitting in my hands waiting to see if the pink jumper and the white shirt dress get reduced further..

ilovecherries · 21/06/2018 17:42

That is absolutely fabulous news, never, so pleased for you and your mum. Although my mum did need fairly major bowel resection, I remember the relief a week later when it turned out all the lymph nodes were clear and she didn’t need further treatment. Now you can really enjoy your holiday.

miffy2 · 21/06/2018 17:44

never that is just fantastic news about your mum!!!! Mine had breast cancer about 4-5 years ago; she needed chemo, radio and a mastectomy but she is in wonderful form and has a check up every 5 months. Her recent one finds her in very good health. I am so grateful for advanced medicine Flowers

I am also kicking myself for not thinking of the free delivery code. Probably as I rarely order when there is paid shipping...anyway I have a leftover returns label from another order and I will shamelessly use it for any returns. Plus by paying for direct shipping (£6) my order should get to me two days earlier than when I use the UK forwarding address! OK I am off to the gym to ensure I can get into those size 12 boyf jeans....

neveradullmoment99 · 21/06/2018 17:50

Thanks everyone x Its a huge relief and I will enjoy my holiday to the full :)
I have used old labels with free delivery loads of times. No issues. I have collected some !!! So cheeky I know, but I order enough!!

What good news never and a relief for your mum and your family! That calls for a glass of celebration sparkly tonight. 🥂
I’m also planning on shamelessly using unused returns labels from other orders if I don’t receive some with my parcels.
Right I’ve decided, despite my current porkyness, that I’m going to try a bikini for a change during my summer hols, up till now I’ve always worn cup sized tankinis as I don’t like swimsuits (prefer separate bottoms for convenience). I wasn’t tempted by Hush though as I do need cup sized swimwear so figleaves and fantasie were my friend today with some discounts...we will see if I keep and brave enough to wear.

SoyYo · 21/06/2018 18:45

Yeayyy! Volver is gone and SoyYo is back Grin
I managed to retrieve my old account which had a very old email address which is very unreliable
Feel much more like it’s me now! 😉

neveradullmoment99 · 21/06/2018 18:51

Well done you Soyo at getting your name back :) and Thanks x
I haven't worn a bikini since I was 13. I had terrible stretch marks on my tum from my children and was ultra self conscious when I was in my early 20's. I was quite a shy girl even before then. I am staying with family this year on holiday and couldn't brave a bikini tbh. I might have considered it if I knew no one! The years I have been on the beach taught me no one cares and there are all shapes and sizes. Just cant see me prancing around a pool with relatives. The horror of it !!!!

My contrast trim trousers went back today to see the garment technologist. I loved those trousersSad

In my order from yesterday (which seemed to have had free priority posting), I got star jeans and the paloma jumper. It’s quite a bit thinner than I expected, and even though I got an XS it’s still very wide. I do like the tight sleeves, just not sure if wide-ness does my boobs any favours. It’s very creased and cba dealing with it tonight, so will decide in the morning. Love the rose tan colour though. Still waiting for a couple of Iris dresses to come for my holidays and today’s order was some tee shirts.

neveradullmoment99 · 21/06/2018 18:52

I will probably go for a mock tankini tbh or order a boden swim shorts and a tankini to cover my modesty.

OP posts:
ilovecherries · 21/06/2018 18:54

I wore a bikini last year for the first time in 40 years. I was two stone down and was feeling quite taken with myself (although was still very large). I couldn’t believe how comfy is was compared to a swimsuit. This year I have two new bikini tops and a tankini top, all from Bravissimo, and cheap M&S bottoms.

dontcallmelen · 21/06/2018 18:59

Never, I got swim shorts & tankini from Boden last year very comfortable & nice fabric.

neveradullmoment99 · 21/06/2018 19:00

I wouldn't mind so much if it was on the beach with random people. Just not with my relatives...shudder.

neveradullmoment99 · 21/06/2018 19:05

Are they true to size?

OP posts:
SoyYo · 21/06/2018 19:13

Yeay cherries aside boobage I’m a size 12 and it seems ridiculous and felt more conspicuous on the Med with a tankini than I would have done in a bikini. Hope once I look in the mirror I won’t change my mind!
Totally understand it’s different with family around never so hope you find something suitable at Boden or elsewhere though you are a size smaller and a few years younger than me! The thought struck me that in 10 years time I’ll regret not wearing one while I still could! Grin
And I used to rock a bikini in my twenties/thirties and was just a couple of sizes smaller than now.
cherries that was a fast delivery! Any definite keepers?

dontcallmelen · 21/06/2018 19:17

@never yes pretty much, I got a 10 in the top as I’m 30/32e & it fits well.

redtulip12 · 21/06/2018 19:56

Thanks @neveradullmoment99 re labels. I have placed another order today with free delivery returns so will send everything back with the free returns label.

I too feel self conscious about wearing a bikini until I get on the beach and realise no one cares and there is always a bigger person than me rocking their bikini. I do only wear Bravissimo bikinis now though as I think a well fitting one makes a big difference.

Wonder when my order will come. Can't wait to try the star jeans. Worried they will look odd on me though as I have a 34" leg even though I'm only 5ft 6. Fingers crossed
