sweatshirt looks pinker in those last photos the previous are more like the real colour ..

redtulip12 · 03/05/2018 15:44

@DavetheCat2001 the dress looks great. You definitely don't need to size up. I would wear it that length. It's a good length for when the sun eventually comes out.

Ellapaella · 03/05/2018 15:48

Dave you look great in that dress, really suits you. Definitely keep it.

Thanks chaps.

It certainly feels comfy, really nice material.

I've never ordered anything from Boden before. My 4 year old daughter has a few things that have been bought by my mum though!

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 16:53

The sleeves look good laska. Great job!

DavetheCat2001 · 03/05/2018 16:54

Great sewing skills Laska!

ilovecherries · 03/05/2018 16:56

Love the dress on you, Dave. You've got great legs, just get them out :)

Ellapaella · 03/05/2018 20:10

Who has the harems on here? I love them, they are super comfy and will be a great summer trouser but I'm struggling to find tops that look flattering with them. The Hush t shirts I have are just a bit too long and don't sit quite right. I think I might need a slightly cropped t shirt?
What do you all wear with yours?

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 20:29

I bought the star tee [blush and red] and it looks good with the grey cropped ones.

Nearlyadoctor · 03/05/2018 20:29

Ella I tend to wear mine with the long Hush vests and then a Stella star jumper or shorter jumper on top. I bought them just before we flew to America in the autumn a couple of years ago and wore that to travel in so the combination sort of stuck. TBH last summer I sort of forgot I had them ( 2 pairs) so didn't really wear them at all, having thought they'd be great with flip flops !!

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 20:29

I think my other V-neck tees will be just as good with them.

Ellapaella · 03/05/2018 21:08

Thanks - I have the blush star t, can't decide if it needs to be tucked in a bit as it's quite long on me and the harems have a high waist. My harems are black though and not sure about the colour combination.
Agree v neck tops will be good.
Flip flops are definitely my plan with the harems once the weather heats up, I've already had a try and they look good with them.
I got a couple of vest tops in New Look today as well which I think will work. Roll on the summer...

Yes roll on the summer. It was freezing here today. I don't like putting the waist up really high. I tend to wear them lower. The tees are ok in length for me. I quite like them longer to cover over my tum!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 21:18

I am a 32E though so probably makes the tees sit slightly higher?

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 21:18

or shorter!

Ellapaella · 03/05/2018 21:33

Don't confuse me never Grin

Ellapaella · 03/05/2018 21:35

I'm a b cup so yes they'd be a bit shorter on you I think? I like the waist band of the harems, 'it's very flattering on my mum tum, hides a multitude of sins. They are my new favourite trousers.

Hi, just in case anyone is interested in the girlfriend chinos - I ordered the khaki ones and they came today. The colour is lovely, the material quite light but just right for summer (well in Scotland anyway!) and a really lovely flattering fit. I’m v pleased with them. For ref I’m 5’2 and rolled the hems a couple of times, I’m a 6-8 (more of an 8 at the mo), ordered the 6 and although they’re not as slouchy as on the model they feel like they’ll give a little. Recommend!

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 21:50

I had to think about that too Ella. I am confusing myself ha ha...CS Good to know about the chinos.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 21:51

If summer comes anytime soon in Scotland that is!!!! t'was freezing today :(

Theonlyoneiknow · 03/05/2018 22:02

Love the chinos! Holding out for a discount code! I have worn my harems a grand total of once - in Spain. I am 5'1" and they just look like balloon pants on me. So gutted!

AFingerofFudge · 03/05/2018 22:47

Sorry I haven't been around the last few days, I blame work.
As I said in my previous post, I'm new to Hush, and the things I've bought so far are summery type things, so just been waiting for the weather to warm up. Hopefully the cropped harems will get an outing soon.
I realised that I did buy a hush t'shirt last year although i didn't realise it was Hush at the time because it was in John Lewis, and I just bought it because I like the style. It's burgundy with a pink lightning flash through it. Looking forward to wearing that too. I have also bought a yellow top that says "love saves the day" on it, but again haven't worn it yet.
Now I need to find a few hundred pounds lying around so I can buy some more!

ilovecherries · 03/05/2018 22:49

Oh, I forgot I bought that lightening flash tee in the sale at Xmas. Oops. Blush

AFingerofFudge · 03/05/2018 22:49

oh no the only one. I'm only 5.3, I hope my cropped harems don't look like balloon pants on me Also I'm a bit, er, round (size 12 but pushing up to a size 14 it can't be denied) so I'm not sure they'll look as good in the flesh as they do in my head!

Theonlyoneiknow · 03/05/2018 23:03

Mine are normal length so I am sure you will be fine @afingeroffudge !
