It sounds like you've achieved such a lot with your health and weight in the last few years though cherries, You must be feeling great! (awe). have you looked at saltwaters?

Ive cut the sleeves on my Cest si bon! , now i cant decide whether to attempt to reattached the cuffs of just wear sleeve with raw edge..

Laska5772 · 03/05/2018 13:13

Bad move?

Laska5772 · 03/05/2018 13:14

too late to go back !

ilovecherries · 03/05/2018 13:26

I quite like the raw edge actually, especially if you can roll them a bit.

ilovecherries · 03/05/2018 13:28

I hacked the cuffs off my lightning bolt sweat, as the lightning bolt as peeling so much it was beyond redemption anyway. I didn't think of leaving them raw though, I just did a quarter inch hem round them on the sewing machine.

NotARegularPenguin · 03/05/2018 13:37

I’ve just sent back some cropped relaxed trousers. Really thin material which looked creased to buggery on arrival and that even when ironed would look a mess a short while later. Didn’t seem to hang right/weren’t flattering on me.

Nearlyadoctor · 03/05/2018 13:37

Another vote for the raw edge - the colour looks nicer in your pic Laska than it does on the website.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 13:42

Try the raw edge and if it bugs you, make into the sleeve?
Thanks for everyones input regarding my wedding guest outfit. Still debating....

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 13:44

Nearly I agree. The colour looks very nice.
Somebody put me of the sweatshirt though by saying 'chest ci bon'
Silly really. I'm sure no one would ever think of it.

GinandGingerBeer · 03/05/2018 13:46

Ahh never, that was me Grin
Don't let my typos put you off!
It's a lovely sweatshirt for £35.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 13:46

I have a real hankering for the floral blazer [ er NOT to go with the jumpsuit- eugghhhhhhh] but to wear with jeans as a separate. Its out of stock boo hoo... and no stock has come in :( Looks like that may be that.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 13:47

It is a lovely sweatshirt :) But its not in the sale now!

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 13:48

I really like it in that colour on the website laska. It looks really nice.

Laska5772 · 03/05/2018 13:54

its much thicker than the yellow or green sweats . ..
right i have my sewing machine out I al going to have a go at re-attaching the cuffs , if it doesn't work then ill just take em off again.. ! i like the raw edge and its a sweat so can look scruffy!

Btw has anyone else thought their yellow love sweat is fading with each wash?

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 13:57

Yes ME!!!!! After just one wash Confused It just does not look as bright now. Tbh I haven't worn it as much as the green one. That has faded too but I have worn and worn it.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/05/2018 13:59

I was actually thinking how scruffy the green one looks now!!! But its just soo comfy. Its what I reach for on one of those cba days. I have a lot of those.
Today I am only wearing hush boots. I have a fatface denim pinafore that I won on ebay, oh, I do have a long sleeved tee [black] from hush actually on underneath. Forgot about that! and thick black tights!

Nearlyadoctor · 03/05/2018 14:10

I don't think my yellow one has faded but the green has, but not too much.
Fallen in love with my wide black top again today as it's slightly warmer here, although I've got a clinic at 3pm so need to change shortly.

Pippin8 · 03/05/2018 15:06

My order came today & it’s all going back.
The mia dress made me look like a pale, fat flintstone.
The goa top stank of perfume & had foundation stains on.
The midnight cropped trousers were so baggy & cheap looking, could get similar in next for half the price.
The portobello dress is nice, but it was so creased & I can tell it won’t wash well at all.
All in all, over priced crap!

ilovecherries · 03/05/2018 15:18

I think the sweat I like most is the pink puff sleeve, which was an impulse buy in JL. It always lifts my complexion. My yellow one has faded a lot, but I put that down to my mum putting it into a 60c wash when I was visiting. I'm actually lucky she didn't boil it. The green one is the softest though. The only one I haven't worn much is the blue ombré.

DavetheCat2001 · 03/05/2018 15:33

Here's my new Boden dress.

What do you think? Too small/short looking?

I really live it, just not sure if I should have sized up.

It looks good and it s suits you. The only thing is its quite short . If that doesn't bother you, keep it. Over skinny jeans I think it would look nice too.

Laska5772 · 03/05/2018 15:37

Ok so i cant make a good job of re attatching the cuff (i think you really need an overlocker on that fabric) so its raw edges for me!.. 3 lines of not too dodgy stiches and I think it looks ok and rolls up nicely.. well Im stuck with it now!
Yellow sweat just dried.. its definitely faded esp around the stitch lines near the rib. Still nice though never been washed at more than 30

Laska5772 · 03/05/2018 15:40

Love it on you Dave keep it!

DavetheCat2001 · 03/05/2018 15:41

Thanks never.

It is short..I went for the regular length, maybe should have gone for the long.

DavetheCat2001 · 03/05/2018 15:42

Thanks Laska.

It is a lovely dress. Maybe a bit of fake tan on before I wear it out though! Grin
