Thanks cherries and ella

Kudos to the jumper, a mum grabbed me at the end and asked where I'd got it from Smile

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 12/05/2018 13:15

Dave that looks great - I have the rainbow jumper too and really like it. First time I wore it DP and DD both said I looked like I was being a big LGBT ally, but then said it was nice also Grin (not that I want homophobic jumpers, but I wouldn't choose to be political in my jumpers either).

Have enjoyed reading everyone's 'Hush histories' btw. I'm 40 and been wearing increasing amounts of it in the last few years, as a lot of my old favourite shops seemed less and less for me, and also, I guess, as my income's gone up a bit. I feel like it's the right sort of thing for me at this age and stage - cool without being aggressively 'on trend', flattering, and not what everyone else has seen in the shop or is wearing themselves. MOst of my stuff is pretty understated, but it makes me happy in some way to own and wear.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 12/05/2018 13:18

I also feel right now like I want to buy something to look forward to on Monday but my faves are pretty dull at the moment - baby blue raglan and black harems.... Am currently wearing another raglan and boyfriend jeans, while the pink raglan in in the washing machine in the hopes it'll tone down just a smidge!

ilovecherries · 12/05/2018 13:21

I love it when that happens, Dave.

I've got a lot of Boden credit so had ordered a few summer bits without much luck. Cambridge ankle skimmers in a 14 wouldn't pull up (although I have Richmonds in a 12 that have fitted for a couple of months). Had ordered two of those embroidered tops that I think Laska recommended. The white one in a 14 was straining over the bust, and the navy was far too big. Angry. So they are already on their way back. Also got a Tarifa dress (mainly because I love Tarifa the placeBlush) but undecided about it. Like the shape but the colours are a bit too 'fun' like for me. Certainly wouldn't wear it in the UK so I probably shouldn't inflict it on Spain.

ilovecherries · 12/05/2018 13:32

I had a LOT of dye come out of my pink one, Seek. I know because it was in a net bag, and the bag came out VERY bright pink. Only washed at 30 on the handwash cycle with woolite as well. (You can tell I'm very careful with my Hush!) It is a better colour now though.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 12/05/2018 13:37

Ah well I shall look forward to seeing it! I've put in with normal liquid, as my other raglan has been pretty robust and is 3 years old now.

I'm a bit anxious about the grey things in the load now though ....

The sun is shining up here and we are taking our new camper van for its first outing up the Northumberland coast. Feeling very chilled in my Que Sera Tee, this is the first time I've actually worn it, it's been sitting in my wardrobe unworn for ages. I expect when we get there I will be literally chilled as I can't imagine it'll be too balmy up in Northumberland today Grin

Wow Ella - am I most jealous of the sun, the camper van, or the Hush? Grin. Have a lovely time!

Ellapaella · 12/05/2018 14:49

Cherries the Boden Tarifa dress is lovely. Lovely colours.

Thanks seek - we are so excited about the camper van. We've very sadly lost 2 good friends to cancer over the last 18 months and it's really left us feeling life is too short and precious to put off doing all the things we've always dreamed of. Planning a tour of Scotland (have always wanted to do it) and a road trip to France next year.

Sorry to hear that Ella and I think your plans sound excellent. You're right - go travel and seize the days!

neveradullmoment99 · 12/05/2018 16:09

Oh how annoying. I do these sort of things ALL the time. Will it come out? Or is it like a bleach stain? If it doesn't come out, I think replacing it is the only answer. It depends upon how much you like it? I wear mine constantly. Its just so soft and comfy. Its my comfort zone.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/05/2018 16:11

The size you have looks good. If you are losing weight though you could buy it smaller? An incentive? you look fine as you are though

neveradullmoment99 · 12/05/2018 16:12

Mine is a small and its loose and baggy but I love it that way. It wouldn't be my fave jumper if it was tight. I haven't worn the ombre one because its just not like the green one.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/05/2018 17:02

Opened my order.
Bloomsbury dress is the most gorgeous red and really suits me but its MASSIVE so its going back and have ordered the 8!!!! Annoying!
The animal print tee love love love.
The Hepburn trousers are ok. A little tight across my tummy and I think are going back. I don't love them enough.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/05/2018 17:03

..and they are a lot of money for what are essentially a pair of work trousers.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 12/05/2018 17:03

Laska the sweatshirt looks great!

neveradullmoment99 · 12/05/2018 17:04

The fabric just wasn't what I expected. I kind of thought they would be chino esque but they are just like work trouser fabric so disappointing. I don't think I would ever wear them casually.

Laska5772 · 12/05/2018 17:04

Its like a bleach stain.. I already reordered! it! Love this sweat so much and want it forever!! I will keep wearingthis one but hopefully if its not too tiny on me ill have the S inreserve fpr getting that weight off im pretty sure this one has 'grown'a bit anyway.. so a ruddy expensive clean of jewellery ..
Beware everyone!

boxoftoads · 12/05/2018 17:11

Hi Hush ladies - advice please Grin

Is the portobello dress that's sold out nice and is it likely to return to stock?

Ellapaella · 12/05/2018 17:19

Dave had posted photos of the dress just below and she looks lovely in it.

boxoftoads · 12/05/2018 17:44

Thanks @Ellapaella - the dress looks lovely and identical to an old one I had.

Glad to know is sizes up big, I've ordered some jumpsuits for now.

Hopefully it restocks soon
