Hello all

Well I'm reporting back from a rare trip into a John Lewis and it's not positive, grrrr.
They had loads of xs or xl sizes in stock and not much else which was really annoying as I'm a medium really.
I did try on the portobello top which they had in a size 10 and that was it so I squeezed myself into it (am a 12-14). Anyway, I decided it would be gorgeous in the correct size so i will order it if I can find it in stock.
So sadly my great excitement came to nothing!

Oh well Finger At least you saved yourself some pennies :)

Argh, I got Silver dip on an expensive Boden dress a few years back - decided just as we were leaving the house that my bracelet looked a bit tarnished. Expensive bloody lesson for sure. Even the tiniest drip seems to seep everywhere. I'm sure that green sweat grows in the wash - I'm not losing weight THAT fast. I'm sure the small will be fine for you. But so annoying. :(

Toads, JL had the dress in store in Newcastle yesterday, so they might have some. It looked lovely - too dainty for me, but Dave looked great in it.

I was always splashing myself with bleach when cleaning the toilet. I would often find bleach marks on my jeans and one on my top where a bit had splashed from nowhere. Its very frustrating. I ended up wearing it round the house as a rag. I don't tend to use bleach now if I can help it and tend to buy toilet wipes and the blu thing you put in the cistern because of it. I don't possess silver dip.

Toads I have the dress and it comes up on the large size. It is really pretty, so I'm hanging onto the size 10 but hoping an 8 will come back into stock so I can exchange it.

I tried on the lepoard tee on yesterday. I was just too buxom for it . Even though it fitted, it looked just too in your face - and an unfortunate placement of the pattern made it look as if my right nipple was a bulls eye. Would love it on someone else though, and felt much more robust than some of their other tees.

Thanks cherries. Nice to know that the fabric is a bit more substantial.

I really can't justify ordering anything else at the moment, but its definitely staying on my wish list!

JL is sold out also, will keep my eyes peeled

Has anyone tried the solana dress? It looks chic on the model, but can't decide if I would just like an overstuffed sausage in it. Am a size 12, would I need Medium or small?

I had a similar cotton one in previous years Fresta. Not sure if its the same cut but if it is like that I would probably tend to go for the medium. I had the small and was never happy with it. Felt it was clinging to my lumps and bumps.

Maybe I'll try it on in store first if I can find it- if there's any risk of clinging it might be best to avoid it altogether!

Got my stuff from Waitrose yesterday,, orange panel maxi lovely but I'm going to try the 12 , I cant take the blue one back sadly as have taken the tag off and binned it ,

Venice beach dresses... the hibiscus in L was too big and the haze in M fine but I dont like the colour and pattern on me , so will look for a hibiscus in M and maybe try the blue ..

Weekend with reles and i didn't drink any and stuck to LC as the 'bootcamp rules' cherries and i am 4 lbs down from Thursday !!

I have also clocked a couple off JLs own brand linen dresses i like and one from Kin..

red you look great ! I have the raglans on pink and yellow . Usually wear them with a boden denim mini i got a few years ago..
I am wearing the Liberty shirt again.. its such a great shirt those size down ..I have a 10.

Right, like laska I'm off to JL this afternoon and try things on in RL, I've got all these work trips coming up from next weekend onwards and hoping I'll find a jacket, trousers and tops there plus want to try Alana dress
