Oh you look fab in that dress never!!!

Nearlyadoctor · 07/05/2018 19:16

Dave I ordered my usual dress size in Hush which is an 8, everywhere else I closer to a 10.

Never the dress looks great on you.

DavetheCat2001 · 07/05/2018 19:18

Wow Never that looks amazing on you!

Dr I've gone for a 10..not really sure what size I am these days as I wear 8's in some stuff and 10's in others!

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2018 20:50

Thanks for the thumbs up on the dress everyone :)
Hope to see more pictures from other peoples purchases.
Its going to be a rainy day here I reckon tomorrow sadly so thinking what I might wear to work. Probably my hush wide legs a tee and one of those gorgeous jackets...but which one? I will decide tomorrow!!

Ellapaella · 07/05/2018 21:45

Never that is a lovely dress and it looks great on you! I really think with Boden stuff it helps to see it in real life and that is lovely.

And I also want to see some pictures of everyone's purchase please! I need some inspiration. Still deliberating over shorts v Santana skirt.

And Dave order the portabello dress! It looks so nice online, and you can always send it back if it's not as nice as you expect.

Hello everyone big Hush fan but tend to lurk rather than post!

Wanted to ask about the Ivy dress - am.considering it but am fairly petite. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on it? I don't often have luck with their dresses but their tops and jumpers are perfect for me Smile...

AFingerofFudge · 08/05/2018 11:15

Sorry cake I'm fairly new to Hush and have never bought their dresses. Mind you, my Hush catalogue arrived today and there were predominantly dresses in it and they all looked as though the material was thin and poor quality!

DavetheCat2001 · 08/05/2018 11:22

The Portabello dress has been ordered, ella Grin

LeiatheSchnauzer · 08/05/2018 12:00

Hi! Fellow Hush fan here. I just received the Delilah frill dress which I'd been longing for for ages. Unfortunately despite the model having her hands in the pockets in two pictures mine is pocket free! So frustrating. Am assuming they changed the spec after the pictures were taken.

bookworm14 · 08/05/2018 15:27

Another convert to Hush here. Today I’m wearing the Marina dress from the summer 18 collection - i love the fabric and it has pockets, which is a huge bonus.

Laska5772 · 08/05/2018 19:19

I am thinking of ebaying my last years Hush Athena kaftan. what do you think I should put it on at ?. it was £89, and only worn once i reckon

neveradullmoment99 · 08/05/2018 19:46

There is one on ebay going for £47 buy it now. Depends how much you want a sale. I reckon it takes longer to sell when its a buy it now. Do auction and set it at the minimum you would like back. That's what I do.

neveradullmoment99 · 08/05/2018 19:47

I should say that the one for that price is new. Even if its worn once you will have to reduce the price sadly.

Laska5772 · 08/05/2018 19:52

In the past I have always started low .. (its been some years since i sold anything , but I do have a few things now id better check out the T&Cs , I expect they have changed , can t remember what happens if things dont sell, do you pay a % to ebay?) I might sell my Giselle dress also ..

neveradullmoment99 · 08/05/2018 20:06

I think you have two chances to sell it without fees but then they are frequently giving offers. At the weekend they were offering max selling fees for £1. Not sure if the offer is still on. If you put it on with a buy it now it is quite a lot of money. Whatever they charge you, add it into the price.

neveradullmoment99 · 08/05/2018 20:08

I sell things pretty frequently to finance my hush addiction but I just list and pay whatever the price is. Its usually free but you are charge 10% of the final price and that annoyingly includes postage.

Laska5772 · 08/05/2018 20:27

Thanks Never Its about time I sold some stuff again I think ill do a bit of tracking of items first .I have a far bit of Boden (long jersey dresses I used to wear on hols) that can also go (now i wear Hush!) ,, it used to sell well, but better in bigger sizes! .

If i put my kaftan on at £30 do you think that is too high ?

I still haven't got a photo of the panel maxi, I will try and get one this weekend... really pleased with it though.

I also finally got a notification of the refund for the Adelaide top, which that has over a week ago ..

I have posted another panel maxi back to day ( I ended up ordering two as, because for some reason the arm holes in first were a bit wonky,)

Ellapaella · 08/05/2018 20:37

Laska you may find selling Boden better on the Facebook site. It's called 'Boden adults uk preloved buying and selling'. It's a private group but you request to join and they usually sign you up straight away. You'll get a good price, people usually prepared to pay a fair price, no selling fees and no annoying time wasters or buyers who come back at you and complain about every single detail to try and get money back etc.
There is also a Hush/mint velvet preloved FaceBook which is the same.
I've sold loads of Boden (adults and kids stuff) via Facebook and it's a much better experience than selling on eBay in my experience.
If you're interested I can post a link, in a member of both groups.

thanks Ella .. but I'm not on facebook . ..

bathildab · 08/05/2018 20:50

I ordered the Portobello dress. Perhaps as I am quite petite the frills drowned me Sad quite disappointed. Will return.
Loved the marissa though and the relaxed cropped pants.

Also tempted by marina but I do look very frumpy in a midi length.

bathildab · 08/05/2018 20:52

Also the Kaia dress is enormous. I was drowned by an 8 and I am only usually an 8
In the more generous shops (whistles etc)

neveradullmoment99 · 08/05/2018 20:58

I ended up keeping both jackets btw Blush
In my defence my lovely mother couldn't decide which one either so bought me one :)
I had on the navy one today with my hush navy winona trousers [wide legs] and a pink V-neck tee out of Tescos Shock - really letting the side down with the tee!!! but only £5 and gorgeous pink
