One of my brothers wears Kouros, he specifically asked for me to get it him for his birthday last year. Dp wears a few different things but one of my favourites on him is Lanvins Avant Garde although I think it's been discontinued which is a real shame as it's absolutely lovely.

I really need to wear mitsouko and shalimar on my skin to decide whether to go fb.

I'm looking at some on e bay but it's ££££ if it smells horrid on me.

Dp doesn't wear anything (scent-related!) I'd like him to give something a try but it's never going to happen. Ds just wears whatever samples I send his way - I think he's been wearing the new formulation of Y recently.

My colleague wears Philosykos and MMM By the Fireplace a lot.And a couple of Malles but I can't remember which ones.

With all the vanilla talk I thought I'd share that I was given a tester of Tom Ford's Vanille Fatale a few weeks ago. I've been wearing it for a few days now and really like it. It's not the most complex of perfumes, but it's very comforting and on me dries down to a warm musky vanilla.

I'm not sure whether I'd go FB with it, but I'm tempted.

Has anyone ever ordered from fragrance.net from UK? Their prices are good, but wondered about postage, customs and vat etc.

Apparently Boots (in the uk for those abroad) are selling off SJP Stash really cheap, £5 for 30ml and £10 for 50ml. off to look for some tomorrow!

Here are Thread 4's trousers. We all bought them and wore them to Somerset House. (Didn't we?).

How do 4160 churn out so many perfumes? It seems like every couple of days a new one pops up on FB (or from you lot on here!) Do they just make a very small batch of everything? Or are there 100s of people working for them? Curious!

I am trying desperately to save money...so am attempting a no more perfume until the summer...I have over 50 untried samples FFS!

Unfortunately I have bought a Dior and 2 Chanel lipsticks today instead. I am incorrigible.

PP Mitsouko is sweet and a bit peachy fizzy. It is borderline minger I'm afraid. I am keen to try the real thing as cannot believe such a Guerlain classic really smells like this.

It did on me, it was all fuzzy peach instead of the warm spicy fragrance I was expecting. Not impressed. I do love Jicky and Vetiver though so all is not lost. I am clearly an ex-colonel rather than an exotic woman

SotD was Socialite Winter Edition (Brocard). I wanted to embrace the bad weather but to be honest this would work well in the sun!

I don't understand the crowdfunder... what's the difference between TBFL and the four spring scents? Is there an option for just TBFL but smaller than 100ml?

I have never tried Mitsouko, but because it has been my DMum's scent forever. So I could, but I don't/choose not to. But in her scent journey, she started on Guerlain via Jicky, which I like but wear in random moments.

TBH, these days I prefer scent-tart. Today has been the PP dupe of Opus V in a 3ml oil roll-on. It's good to start off, but dies flat, and no one has said, "Sock smells okay today" so I think it's so perfectly blended/naice, it's forgettable. Not one for the FB dream.

SOTD is FM Lipstick Rose after talking about it yesterday. God, I love it. This was the last “proper present” DP bought me before being made redundant, so it feels a bit hopeful when everything else feels hopeless.

It was the group shot with several of us in them that was really impressive Pest.

...Although at that point a curator asked us to disperse as were apparently lowering the tone.
