Have to say I like the next version better!
You can sometimes find bottles of cashmere e bay for very good prices.

SOTD is TF Velvet Orchid, but think I’ve overdone it on the sprays 😩.

Liberty, I wish they could put all the empty bottles in a separate category on eBay. It’s annoying having to wade through to find the good stuff. I’m a big fan of buying used perfume on eBay, though. I’ve never had a bad experience (so far!). Most recently I’ve scored almost-half full bottles of Paloma Picasso, vintage Yardley LOTV, Bvlgari Pour Femme, Poison, Ysatis and Amarige and all have been great quality. If I find a reliable seller I check back to see what else they’re selling frequently (which is why my habit is so out of control ).

I sprayed it half an hour ago and it's already gone...its a pleasant enough scent. But...😕

I don't really get jo Malone either! To me they are pretty one dimensional and not very long lasting at all. Some of the combos are interesting in a "that's an interesting smell" way, but not in a "I'd like to smell like that" way. Although I have quite a few JMs as people tend to buy them for me as they know I'm into perfume.
SOTD is terry de gunzberg ombré mercure - which I love but it's not very long lasting on me. Although we went to a butterfly house today and they were very interested in me which I think was probably down to the perfume!

mrsreynolds, the Blackberry & Bay is a PP dupe for the real thing. It lasts for hours on me, much longer than the original! It’s so interesting how different skins react.

Just returned home to Sock’s most wonderful packages and notes thank you I love Girl - it’s really woody and heavy on the Violets. Can’t believe it’s being flogged off for a £1! I’m currently wearing MG Fire and I really like this as well. It’s another Chypre in the style of Plum/ Lemon- but very different. Heavy on the rose and oud. Kind of reminiscent of Firedance (RM) and Kiss by the Fireside (4160) but the latter is much sweeter with a possible vanilla base can’t remember. So I’m going to be putting in an order for 50ml of Lemon and Fire. I can’t pass this bargain by.

SOTD is 4160’s What I Did On My Holidays, because holidays. (So far, very little, tbh - it is more like Christmas holidays in terms of weather/temperature.)

SOTE is Miller Harris Rose en Noir. Quite a sweet raspberry, jammy rose, settling into a peppery, patchouli base. Don't get any of the supposed tobacco thought, which is a shame. I don't get any of the tobacco in Tobacco Rose either...perhaps it's just me.

SotD was Angel Muse. Not too keen - thinking that while there are some I like, gourmands generally might not be for me (not keen on the SLC either). Did manage to get some Jade though so in that now and it's marvelous and is fitting this fresh, twittery bird evening perfectly!

Torn on the Bloom 20%. I just know that if I don't get anything the ELDOs I want will be on TKMaxx with 40-50%off next week but if I don't they'll never have them in the sale ever again!! And there's only until the end of tomorrow to decide...

Dana's Herbissimo has been a hit today - it seems to gets a second wind an hour or so in.

DCs driving me bananas tonight fighting with each other as I try to get ready for a houseful tomorrow. SotE is going to need to be very calming....

Cheap - have nasty feeling the good times at TK Maxx might be behind us now. Usually they are great for perfume in the run up to Xmas through to Mothers Day, and then there is a distinct lean spell. Although if they are pegging the ELd'Os as masculine, I guess they might still keep coming in 'til Fathers day?

Right, perfumistas. I’m doing a big eBay selling storm this week. I’m going to photo graph and upload my perfume ‘wardrobe’ (always feel like a wanker for saying that) and now I’ve got my decantequipmejt I shall attempt to decant anything for any of youse. Back tomorrow!

Evening fragrant ones, I had a spritz of Vero Profumo Naja this morning, overwhelmingly honey with a slight tang of tcp! It's supposed to have tobacco but I didn't get that at all. Had a shower at lunchtime and have since been in Oriane and smelling lovely.

Sorry to hear about the freezer Pest, been there. Hope you can save some stuff but its a right faff isn't it

Cheap if you buy the ELDO set I would happily buy the Jasmine & Cigarette from you if you didn't like it, if that helps at all? I really like it but its a bit ££ for a FB

Fennel I’m burning the Miller Harris Rose en Noir candle tonight. Can’t smell any tabacco either- it’s a jammy rose as you say, quite a sweet woody base. I really like it and it’s filled the room as all decent candles should do. Bargain (£13) from good old TK Maxx

Teta I’ve been giving the Penhaligon’s Iris Prima some attention now after a bath. It is very good as a clean, soapy kind of Iris like you say - it is very nice for when you want to smell squeaky clean (I think it will come into its own during warmer weather).

Has anyone tried Serge Lutens Iris Silver Mist? What kind of iris is it and is it worth seeking out?
