Shake, I reckon you'll be a lifer! Welcome! Stick your credit card in the freezer now....

DH loathed the Vanilla Orchid on walking into the room, so I had a quick scrub, and am now feeling deprived, so it's one to wear when he's not around.

SoTD3 is the Chypre Sublime from Floral Street. First hit is very sweet for a chypre but it's been on less than a minute. Powerful, massive sillage, probably not an office scent (unless you have a long commute, with strangers). I think there's too much tuberose for me. London Poppy is in front.

Fennel, be careful of Mancera: I randomly got a sample of an oudh from them (fortunately a very small one); I can pass it on if you're curious...

MrsG I've only smelt the Dusk which I have - the only perfume that I can compare it to is Camer - Palo Santo which I got on a bloom pack.

It's cinnamony and milky. It's definitely a grower.

Thank you for the welcome! What is the MG of which you all speak? GrinHave bought a few perfumes from 4160 Tuesdays and enjoy the fact have not yet encountered anyone else wearing the same!

MG is Mary Greenwell, Shake. The company made a few scents that were better than the price tag, but never got the marketing right, and we think it will vanish. The Perfume Shop in your closest mall probably has some. The bigger bottles have caps you could play golf with, heavy enough to be murder weapons in an Agatha Christie novel.

Shake - Mary Greenwell. Her discontinued stock is being sold off by The Fragrance Shop, and there is 20% off until 9pm.

Lemon (old school chypre), Fire (spicy rose oud) and Plum (Poisonesque white flowers and plum) are all very popular with us here - Cherry is slightly below the radar.

I remembered I had a decent of MG Fire from Fennel that I hadn't tried so had a quick spritz on the back of my hand before yoga - luckily I like it!
