  1. Superdrug Argan Conditioner Like this and I already have another.
  2. Ameliorate body scrub My favourite scrub and I will repurchase.
  3. Weleda Grenade perfume Fragonard has spoiled me for all other perfumes and I wasn't fussed about this so I won't repurchase.

  1. A rituals shower oil -art of Sakura possibly?

I didn't like it as much S I hoped. I love the loccitane almond shower oil. Wouldn't buy this again.

I use up lots of lipstick. Dior addict 750 rock n roll in particular; I'm always trying to find it and it's often out of stock.

PurpleNailVarnish · 20/09/2018 22:52

If you need a Dior rock n roll today @RJnomore1 Feelunique have got them in stock with a free makeup bag if you're buying a foundation too.
I might have been looking at Dior Addict colours today

RJnomore1 · 20/09/2018 23:07

i erm

I have two full Dior foundations😳

I have yet to meet anyone that rock n roll does not suit though.

PurpleNailVarnish · 20/09/2018 23:46

That made me smile RJ, I was looking at Gotha and Fashion Night.
This is a bit outing but I've got navy blue eyes, it's unusual but a dominant gene in my family.
Unfortunately it means that I've never found a red lipstick that suits me.
I'll try Rock N Roll next time I'm at a Dior counter and report back.

RJnomore1 · 20/09/2018 23:47

Ooh I'd love to hear how that went

I have very very brown eyes and olive skin but my blonde blue eyes friend looks amazing in it too, it looks much more orangey on her

CantChoose · 21/09/2018 06:58

RJnomore1 how do you use shower oil?? Sorry for the stupid question but I have a sample of that rituals one and also a nuxe one but I'm not sure what you do with them! Are theyninstead of soap or to use afterwards? I usually use shower gel on a net shower flower thing but assume it wouldn't work on that?

CantChoose · 21/09/2018 06:59

I've finished an M&S advent calendar 8 hour sleep cream. I've used this a few times now and I don't like it at all. It's so popular on here I think I'll send the next one to a MNer. Though I'm thinking of getting a different advent calendar this year as I've had the M&S one every year since it started. I don't want to end up with a funnel though Grin

RJnomore1 · 21/09/2018 07:06

The glossybox advent preorder for subscribers with a discount code is live now.

Unlike last year with lookfantastic they have a genetic code SUBSCRIBER. You get it for £75 not £99, contents worth £300.

I need to use lots of stuff up quickly now!

@CantChoose I use it like shower gel but I tend to use my hands, it would be too runny for a scrubbie although it emulsified on wet skin and you could use a scrubbie then.

The nuxe one is probably lovely I love their stuff

Alicatz66 · 21/09/2018 07:32

Finished up Sanctuary shower gel .. probably won't buy again .. thinking of switching to bars of soap as less plastic bottles

SuzeD29 · 21/09/2018 08:12

Also finished a tropics shower gel which we use as hand soap in the kitchen. It smells lovely but won't buy again as it's so expensive and none of us use it as shower gel

RJnomore1 · 21/09/2018 10:36
  1. Pai chamomile and rosehip calming day cream

Odd one this. It actually is a great texture and does seem to have calmed my skin but it's vegan totally organic type and smells off.

I'll see how my skin is over the next week before I make a final judgement.

DragonNoodleCake · 21/09/2018 23:40

@CantChoose I love rituals shower oil. I use on a flannel!

DragonNoodleCake · 21/09/2018 23:43

@Experiment627 😮 that's amazing news, I'm so happy for you. Took a while for Kwicklet to be with you, I hope you enjoy every second. Can't wait to hear more x so much love your way x x

@Kokoloco welcome.

Speaking for myself I don't have a way of keeping up with of my products necessarily, though I remember most of them.

A good way to start is to give yourself an aim ie I want to use up 20 full size products by Christmas. Then start on the things that you've already opened and use them up first, that way you'll make a good start on your list.

Personally, I try to resist buying full sizes until websites release free sample gifts with a minimum spend. That way I order the full sized products I do want and get samples of potential new favourites to try.

I don't throw out many products I have a surfeit of adult daughters who will gladly relieve me of anything I won't use up but I would throw anything I really won't use or anything that is probably 'off'.

Hope that helps?

I have selected some products that I want to use up, and have put them in a dish so they are right in front of me when I do my makeup.
It reminds me to use them more - not that it works 100%...

I have also rearranged my lipsticks (by colour, rather by brand) in the hope that I will use some older/forgotten products more than I have in the past.

There are products that I bin just because I don’t use them, for example some cream eyeshadows. I know I don’t like them because of colour, texture or quality, so why keep using them if they just annoy me? I have had them long enough and they are probably past their best anyway.

I’m not great at using up products because I get easily bored with products that I don’t love, but on a positive note, it is teaching me what I really love and use, and what I don’t.

ememem84 · 22/09/2018 21:29

Almost finished a soap n glory hand food hand cream. Brought it home from work as couldn’t pump any more out. So it’s sat upside down in my night stand.

Am using it as a body moisturiser.

PurpleNailVarnish · 23/09/2018 00:49

That's a good idea RiskIt4Biscuit - putting lipsticks into colour order, I might copy it. I'm grateful for anything that helps me to get my makeup sorted.

SuzeD29 · 23/09/2018 07:49

Finished an olaplex 3 sachet, love this stuff. I'm using the smallest/emptiest stuff first so I can throw them out and feel better about my stash 😂😂

ememem84 · 23/09/2018 12:48

Finished my hand cream. Yay!

koko I’d been working on this particular one for ages. At least 8 months.

And to use up I just slathered on everywhere.
