Experiment627 ... ooooh ... what is this chest !!!!

Experiment627 · 18/08/2018 13:50

@ememem84 I LOVE that Jo Malone smell!!! I am forever searching for dupes as so expensive!

@Alicatz66 the 2017 Look Fantastic advent came in a box with a mirror and drawers (see You Tube) and I was using to store make-up pallets but I am about to recycle as need to make more for Kwicklet

experiment I think Lidl do a dupe.

Alicatz66 · 18/08/2018 15:40

Experiment .. thanks for the offer but I'm trying desperately to de clutter and be organised as will be selling up and moving somewhere smaller next year !! ... but I'm definitely getting the advent calendar this year !! I love Look Fantastic

RJnomore1 · 18/08/2018 22:46

2 more empties

A balance me micellar water cleanser and a keeome Korean hydration sheet mask.

The cleanser was nice but I find micellar waters all much of a muchness.

The sheet mask I didn't like the feel of abd took off early but it did hydrate nicely. I feel all plumped up 😁

RJnomore1 · 18/08/2018 22:47

Oh sorry - that's me at 10

Roxers · 18/08/2018 23:34

I am a hoarder, nice to meet you all!

I currently have about six sample sizes of primer (like the ones you get in advent calendars) taking up space on my dressing table. I have never used primer and never will. Why can't I bin them?

I have a whole drawer full of nail polishes, some must be a good few years old. I bite my nails Sad, rarely have time to do a pedicure, and have short, stumpy fingers anyway. So why am I keeping all these polishes?

Hmm
Experiment627 · 19/08/2018 05:52

@Roxers welcome!
For the Primers - perhaps you can donate to your local women's shelter?
Same for the polishes?

@ememem84 thanks - I will look at Lidl. Aldi have a dupe and I got a candle alongside some lobster design things for Kwicklet online the other day.

Roxers .. I do the nail varnish thing. I've got 2 boxes full of them. I'm tending to get gel manicures on my fingers or leave then plain anyway, only do my toes. I've got some horrible colours that I've only kept because they were expensive !! .. you've inspired me to chuck some out !!! Will do it today !

ememem84 · 19/08/2018 08:48

I’ve started a new night cream. Because my travel size one I used twice and have now misplaced.

It’ll turn up.

Roxers · 19/08/2018 12:01

I’ll look to see if there is a shelter nearby, good idea. Flowers

@Alicatz66 let’s do it! I shall report back later.

Roxers · 19/08/2018 12:02

The polishes are a bit used and probably dried up, so wouldn’t be nice to give or receive I think.

ememem84 · 20/08/2018 11:53

Bourjois mascara finished. (Black barrel pink shiny lid) extreme curl one. It’s my fave.

I have one left in the stash but am going to work on one of my coloured ones next.

Alicatz66 · 20/08/2018 19:10

Roxers ... done .. nail polish now in one box instead of 2 these are getting chucked !!!

Sudden 3 finish today:

Nuxe melting body scrub (v nice)
Milton brown ginger lily body wash AND by some quirk of nature body lotion all at once.

That's 13 empties.

I did also finish a toothpaste but that feels like cheating to count it 😬

PurpleNailVarnish · 20/08/2018 22:11

@RJnomore1 when did you start to get to 13? And am I remembering correctly that you are trying to get through some before schools go back?

ememem84 · 21/08/2018 11:55

Clarins primer sample finished today.

Have a full size max factor one to use up next.

Inthetropics · 21/08/2018 14:13

Welcome @Roxers

Used up two L'Occitane au Brésil Bromélia lotion samples, a Natura Sou hair leave in for curly hair and a toothpaste.

I've been decluttering my home like crazy and it's been a very emotional procces.

Experiment627 · 22/08/2018 06:58

@Alicatz66 I spy with my little eye the inside of a Glossy box! 😂😂😂
Well done on your clear out!

I have an empty!

  • Nutrafix (Poundland dupe for Organix) Almond Oil conditioner: I really like this and very good for a £1.... I may have another in my stash

RiskIt4Biscuit · 22/08/2018 10:52

Finished a travel size Mac Oil Control Lotion.

It was nice. I am not sure I need it enough to repurchase though.

It is going in my back 2 mac pile so I can get a new lipstick.

ememem84 · 22/08/2018 20:09

Annoyingly accidentally ordered three Clinique take the day off products. Meant to delete them from boots order. Sigh. Also ordered a micrllar water which I e never tried before. So 4 make up removers to collect tomorrow.

experiment you joined boots parenting club yet?!

PurpleNailVarnish · 22/08/2018 22:32

ememem I've placed a multiple order with Boots before, I did have the app and it kept crashing and said I had nowt in my basket. So I kept adding it back in, when I finally placed the order it suddenly took the money for 4 x everything. Because it was a pre-holiday order this was earlier in the year it came to over £500! I called Boots and cancelled the order.

Boots baby club is still going? That was around even when DD1 was born. The Bounty packs were really good then and they didn't come onto maternity wards or hassle you at all.

I'm in Italy. Is there anything beauty ish I should look out for in the pharmacies while I'm here?

Any beauty advent calendar updates?

Finally, has anyone used Olaplex 3? If so, what did you think of it?

The holiday means I'm enduring enforced cold turkey on the product haul thing, I'm having night terrors for want of new, shiny tubes, bottles and phials of magic potions...all the monuments and views are lovely but we've seen loads of important stuff and now I just want to see the inside of a Sephora. Please send emergency samples, hide them in a cake like they did in the old prison films. I know how lucky I am and I am having a lovely time, in reality I'm not ungrateful but the samples in the cake plea still stands

ememem84 · 23/08/2018 09:06

purple I was on the app too. Lesson learned. Don’t use the app to purchase.

I found my night cream! Hooray!!!!

Experiment627 · 24/08/2018 04:29

@ememem84 yes I have joined the Parenting Club but I think I am more likely to use Superdrug going forward as there is one nearer to my house.

@PurpleNailVarnish have you been to a L'erborlario store yet?
Enjoy Italia!

No advent news 😔

I may have spent £57 in Superdrug yesterday in my defence some bits are for my friends birthday... but I just HAD to have the Emily Noel eyeshadow pallets- she has done a collab with Makeup Revolution....
