Thought I would create a new thread for all the Hush addicts!!!

I am now eyeing up the Brayebrook trainers in Nude.. however id really like a cheaper dupe!

I also have the french blue linen T from last year and love the colour.

Today I am wearing no Hush ! Next skinnies , Laura Ashley striped breton and Boden cashmere v jumper in navy..
As for shopping ...I am going to B&Q and Sainsburys ! not much to get excited about there

Star jeans arrived this morning and they're a really nice relaxed fit, so dilemma time surely I don't need 3 new pairs of jeans
Also lightening bolt pj's from the sale which are gorgeous.
Just also ordered the boxy rainbow t shirt which Dd spotted and thought would suit me. As pp said it's addictive- I knew I shouldn't have started on this collection

My hush wear is minimal today. Navy Winona trousers, silk velvet jumper from jigsaw, silver reebok trainers, big scarf from Pure. Meeting virtual friend for real life lunch :) I do have my hush cashmere beanie in my pocket though.

Tried quite a few things on.. I could buy the whole stock if I had the money. Loved it all but settled on the green heart sweater, star tee and rainbow jumper.

Jeans are ones I tried on in John Lewis, they were from And/Or, they were really nice but just not quite high enough on the waist so I anticipated they would always be pulling down too much when I sat down so I didn't get them. I also tried on the pink balloon sleeve sweater which was lovely but couldn't afford to get that as well.

The star tee looks great. Sure it will sell out. I decided to keep the green embroidered heart jumper even though it is a little baggy. Its so lovely :)

Hmm. So between lunch and dinner arrangements I went into JL with the intention of checking out some Hush in the flesh, without buying anything (because of the online discount). The problem is that the hush franchise is next to Whistles. Who had 20% off today. It did not go well...

Otoh, I know that the rainbow jumper doesn't suit me, and I'd been planning to get it. It sort of perchs on my boobs screaming 'look at me!' The washed black maxi is lovely, as is the Santana skirt (but bloody polyester!) but I'm not buying such summery clothes yet.

Well...another order arrived.

This one contained the washed sweat in L and XL to compare with the M which was too short both in body and sleeves.
It also came with the B&W striped Marina skirt and a pair of black leggings.

Leggings are very long and slightly washed in colour. Not worth keeping.
Marina. Very disappointed that the slip underneath is so short. I would need to get it replaced or only ever wear it with black tights; it just looks weird with bare legs. Also the material in the centre pleat to the front of the skirt looked like ti had been stitched badly. The lines were off and my eyes were drawn to it all the time I had it on. Hard to explain but I guess with the stripes it was hard to get them to line up properly.

Finally the Love sweat. Well I was once again shocked at the sizing. I will try and upload photos. I lined them all up from the neck down and there was hardly any length difference between all three sizes. In comparison there was a decent width difference, and the sleeve length was way off. XL lovely and long; the other two sizes quite short. IMO the XL should have been longer. Anyway I think I will keep the L; it hangs nicely although could do with being longer to look like the photo on the site. I really like the colour and the slogan and the feel of it.

So far out of 9 items I am keeping 4 (Kensington, blue skirt; vest top and LOVE sweat). Two more to arrive (Posey dress and Fay jumper) and they should be with me by Tuesday. I have a large box from the first order so I will put all my returns into it with the three returns slips :)

For the width/length comparison I lined them up at the opposite side's underarm hem.

I received my order about 10 days ago. Expected to only like one or two things... But:

Sent back the two dresses, a Tori star and a Farah midi as the looked horrendous on me. I don't think they look too flattering on the models, so wasn't too surprised I didn't like them in the flesh. Why place the waistband in that position? Both dresses certainly made a feature of my pot belly and just looked awful in general.

Completely and utterly love the Fay jumper, which although semi sheer, feels sturdy and not delicate. The hem gathers, rather than hangs, which I was hoping for. Am trying hard to save it for warmer weather, but want to wear it now as it's so lovely!

Star boyfriend jeans I love, they're so soft and comfy. Have worn those a few times, they kind of remind me of the vintage men's Levis 501s I used to wear in the late '80s, (like Bros ) but much more flattering without the excess 'man area' material bulging between waist and crotch. I'm an apple, with no arse or hips to speak of, so I do need a belt. I usually hate jeans on me and fully expected to send them back, so was pleasantly surprised at their loveliness.

Marina W/B stripe - fully expected to send this back as I am not a long flowy skirt type. Well I thought I wasn't. I then ordered the Marina in B/W, and intended to choose between the two. Well that didn't happen, and I kept both of them. I even like the wispy look of the slip only coming half way down.

Lastly, a pair of harems in the new slate colour, which are fab. I was hoping for a new colour so had to grab those.

All in all am well pleased with my (not so?) little haul! May eye up the linen boyfriend jumpers now... Linen creases really badly though?

@neveradullmoment99 here is the french blue linen v neck. So shapeless on me and my flat chest. This is a size 6. Also the lurex bomber. Sadly both going back!

Has anyone got the snakeskin Florence skirt? I've just ordered it in the sale... thinking it will look nice with tights and black biker boots, it's got lots of mixed reviews re. sizing so expecting it may end up going back.

I thought I'd join in and share a pic of me in my love sweat today...I am wearing it with navy Amie's which work very well . Size XL, so it's nice and loose, with long sleeves. I do love this sweat! Apologies for terrible picture quality, my phone is on its way out!

Thanks Ella, as do all of your things! I am really pleased with this sweat as all the others, without exception, have been an epic fail.
