Thought I would create a new thread for all the Hush addicts!!!
Everyone welcome :)

CS welcome to the thread. I am interested in the star denim shorts. I know you said they came up small but did you think they looked nice? Is the frayed hem stitched up?

My trainers (snakey and starry ..not Hush as above) came and went straight back! Starry ones (Mint Velvet) nice but the star is an insert and thinner fabric than the rest of the shoe and as soon as I put them on i could see that it would crease badly and look dreadful after a couple of wears .. The Snakey (Jigsaw) were nice - but a bit big, I am a 5 and ordered the 5- but they were not £110 nice, so back they went..

Ill call that a saving then!

Thanks Never! I really liked the star shorts too - I’m pretty sure the turnup was unstitched which I preferred. I don’t know if I just got a dodgy pair but the plain 6 fitted perfectly but in the star I would have needed the 8. Might get them at a later date

My ordered arrived today - yellow Love sweat is a definite keeper as are the relaxed fit embroidered jeans and the rainbow jumper which are both fabulous. The embroidered jeans are really comfortable as well as flattering and the jumper is just a bit different and a nice thickness for spring transition. Stevie skinny jeans from the sale are ok but nothing special, will try them on again before making a decision. Blue Love stack jumper, is nice but not worth the money imo for something that just looks ok. Also there's only so much LOVE stuff you want ( already have the big love one from A/W.

Well my order arrived but I’ve not tried it on yet.
Have to say I’m so disappointed that both the colour block skirt and the marina black and white striped skirt are both really creased.
It might be a deal breaker on the colour block as the pleats are so fine and it’s completely kinked out of shape in the bottom third of it. I think it’ll be too tricky to iron.
The marina I can give a gentle press as the pleats are large.
I might send if I can pick one up at JL in Leeds as I’ve been fancying a day there to visit cos too.

My striped Marina arrived badly creased as well, Gin. Really not good enough for brand new stock.

I wonder why they have such an issue with this when other companies get it right? I agree it really isn't good enough. Not sure about creases in a pleated skirt. I would try hanging it up or a gentle iron and see how you get on. I didn't get my order today despite ordering it on Tuesday evening. It will come tomorrow but I didn't pay for postage so its just a bit annoying.

Both my items were lovely. The yellow LOVE sweatshirt is fine in medium (I'm usually a 12 top as I have wide shoulders). The Brighton sandals are lovely, I've left them by my bed so I can keep looking at them! I will get some hush jeans too at some point but I still have about 10lb to lose so will wait a little while to ensure I'm buying a size I can wear long term.

I sought advice about the sizing of the military jacket on the last thread and received the jacket yesterday and it’s lovely! So thanks for the wise advice!

Rshard did you size up? I did but its not arrived yet . Looking forward to getting my yellow 'Love' sweatshirt now given all the love for it here ..

Not really laska, I am just moving into a size 12 so went for that and I like the fit. Perhaps it’s meabt to be a bit looser but I’m only short so am easily swamped by roomier things. Let me know how yours is, what are you thinking of wearing it with? It seems a pretty versatile item to me

I have the military jacket from two years ago. Hoping weather will improve soon (brrrr) so that I can wear it again. I find the pockets a bit awkward as you have to go into them from the top rather than the sides. I got the 14 and it will probably/hopefully be too small for me this summer but I will wear it anyway :)

ARRRH - it will be too big, not too small!!! I do not intend on gaining weight LOL

Well the black military jacket came, but its far too big! I think i could even do the 12.. really nice though . I may reorder this before the discount goes..

And sadly although the yellow on the love sweatshirt is nice , I really dont think it suits me..(never really d sure about logos but thought id give it a punt after all) Its also far too big.. (I got the XL).

So all a bit disappointing here .

Is there anyone posting on this thread going to the Hush fashion show and lunch at Bath Priory on 19 March? The food there is amazing but not sure I want to go on my own.

Oh that’s disappointing laska. I know what you mean about logos, I have the c’est si Bon sweatshirt and I really like it. Wore it to work once and one start arse asked if c’est was supposed to be chest??? Erm....no.

Well my order came and the star skirt is gorgeous. I sized down to a 10 and it doesn't stick out. It sits beautifully and is fine in length. The denim skirt is also nice but not sure I like it enough to keep it. The green embroided sweatshirt is lovely [ you may be interested in that Laska] It has no logo and is a lovely washed green. I wanted it to be a loose fit but not sure if it is too loose tbh so may return it. The black bell sleeved back jumper is ok but am sending back because I don't love it. The tassel earrings are biggish and are cute and a bit different. I have long hair so they look good with it down and up for a more dramatic look.

My order came today too. The lurex bomber from the sale is nice but too baggy around the chest and I dont know if I love it enough for £50. Also feels very stiff. From SS18 i had bought the blue V neck linen blend jumper and it is far too baggy. I wish they would sort out their sizing! So sadly going back which I am gutted about as love the colour

Oh the colour of that jumper is gorgeous 'The only* I have the linen long sleeved top in that colour and have loads of compliments. It is a really good colour on me. However, I am put off by the waistband. Does it bunch up or hang long? I absolutely love the linen boyfriend jumper from last year and have two. Wish they had done it in that colour I would have snapped it up.

It is a good colour for me too never so annoying! I will take a photo.I would say it bunches up. Not a jumper for those small in chest either. Will need to see what else they have in that colour!

I looked the colour up and they do it in the long sleeved raglan tee but unfortunately that top just isn't me. Its too floppy around the neckline and in general and I need a bit more structure I think they also do it in the blouse with the stripe around the bottom and top but I think it looks quite short! Annoying!!!

Just having a catch up on everybody's lovely purchases! The love sweat is proving really popular isn't it? I got the XL because boobs and I like things like that oversized. I am also quite broad of shoulder. I have returned my star embroidered tee and the short sleeve black sweat. It was just OK, I didn't love it enough for £35 even with the discount. As ever with Hush sweats, I need them to be a good couple of inches longer. I have ordered the reversible star jumper in grey/marine colourway, just to have a look, I suspect it won't be right for me though. I also really like the Paloma jumper in blueberry but it looks very wide. Have my eye on a BNWT one on e-bay which is currently less than half the price. It's a bloody addiction isn't it?

Loving this thread.. I'm off to John Lewis today to try everything on and hopefully have a bit of a splurge..
