Yes, Never Pelion, Greece in June .. we have gone back to the same place for 12 years!! .. ( we rent a lovely rustic house in its own bay) ..it is idyllic .
We have city breaks for other hols , but after retiring ( which may be v.v soon) we are buying a motorhome.. (so not much room for Hush collection) !!

neveradullmoment99 · 16/03/2018 18:11

Ah it will be very hot in Greece. Definitely need that panel maxi. Loving the idea of a motorhome. You can still wear hush I'm sure!!!!

Late June/July it will be hot enough for me!

Laska5772 · 16/03/2018 18:22

Greek house has no internet access, but last year for the first time due the reduction in data charges in EU I shopped the Hush sale from the balcony ! .. The cat sitter was quite surprised to be getting parcels delivered while after we had been away nearly 3 weeks!! Grin

Laska5772 · 16/03/2018 18:25

The white/ diamond tile print sun dress is also nice, I might try that but sadly a spaghetti straps are not always so great with norkage.

SoyYo · 16/03/2018 20:18

Right Itsme otherwise known as SoyYo reporting back.
Sorry no pics as in a hurry

First time in ages I think I'm keeping the lot!
Bryce culottes are wow even on my short arse. Lovely fabric, flows, super comfy. Flattering. Even DH went wow that suits you! Comes a couple of inches above ankle so still quite long but it's loooove and so useful and smart for work without trying hard. Size 12 is right, could easily get away with a 10 but it's so comfortable as is I'm keeping.

Ditto navy blue jacket. 14 doesn't give any boobage gap yet still has plenty of give, a 12 would also fit but may give small boob gap. It's nicely fitted and stretchy and short so for me at 5 3 1/2" perfect length giving a fiited smart silhouette and very comfy. Matches culottes beautifully for work but would work just as well with faded denim as alternative to other jackets.

Fay in S is perfect. Flattering pink. Definitely needs a nude bra underneath but I don't think it needs a vest when worn casually (for work I might but I don't think it's a work top)

Finally summer version of Stella in camel with navy blue star in S. For me perfect fit. Loose enough but not too loose. Beautiful camel shade.

It's ❤️❤️❤️❤️!

I'm not looking at summer offerings Grin for now Enough damage done today! Grin

If you're interested I'll post pics tomorrow

neveradullmoment99 · 16/03/2018 21:28

Interested in seeing the culottes on!!! ..and the jacket. Pictures please :)

I snaffled a Fay in medium as I rushed through JL tonight. I didn't even try it, will try both it and the small tomorrow and decide which I'm keeping.

Ellapaella · 17/03/2018 07:44

Soy yes please to pictures

Ellapaella · 17/03/2018 09:14

Nearly great shoes - I think the style goes really well with the boyfriend/star jeans and they look good with cropped jeans too. Those ones are really nice.

FlindersKeepers · 17/03/2018 09:53

Looking forward to seeing the culottes pic too! And really like the black tie waist dress in the summer preview, I don't suit floaty and that looks neater.

SoyYo · 17/03/2018 12:15

Hi everyone I feel super self conscious posting or taking selfies and genuinely Crap at it so have only taken one of each in the interest of sharing and appreciate honest (but gentle please!) opinions

First the Fay in S wearing a nude bra and
Star jumper (can't remember name) also in S

I wouldn't want to size up as they'd just make me look huge with my 34FF/32G girls...now hesitating over Star jumper, love the colour and style but maybe emphasises my assets rather too much?

SoyYo · 17/03/2018 12:24

Now the culottes which I love I think they're more like palazzos on my short frame but keeping anyway as the fabric is so flowy and comfortable and think I can get away with it for work.
I've put a fitted jumper on as I feel it balances the volume at the bottom.
Styled with the navy jacket which is nicely stretchy and I reckon very versatile...
Culottes in a 12 are generous and could get away with smaller size but i think I'll stick with a 12.
Jacket is a 14 which usually I find too big all over in Hush except for boobage area. This style somehow avoids that?
Hope pics clear enough to give you a vague idea of how it looks on a short middle aged woman rather than the lithesome beautiful Hush model...

Ellapaella · 17/03/2018 12:25

Soy they both look really good. Great with the jeans. I don't think either of them emphasise your boobage in a bad way, both look a flattering fit. What do you think of the Fay? Is it good value? I like it but it seems quite thin for the price.

SoyYo · 17/03/2018 12:25

Trying culottes pic again not sure why it didn't work last time

Hush..Its the new collection S/S18 and we are still loving it!!
Ellapaella · 17/03/2018 12:26

Oh wow I love the culottes! Really lovely, they must be a keeper?

SoyYo · 17/03/2018 12:28

Ella Thank You Flowers
I agree the Fay is a bit £££ for what it is and usually I'd hold off till sale time but they seem to be ooo already and I genuinely like it.
I don't do pink usually because the colour doesn't suit me (light olive skinned brunette) but I think it's lovely with denim and somehow doesn't wash me out

SoyYo · 17/03/2018 12:30

Culottes are Keepers
They're super comfortable and a good nod to current trends
I've not been tempted by pleated skirts having worn them first time round decades ago and likewise for culottes I bought out of curiosity
But I like! 👍

SoyYo · 17/03/2018 12:34

lol just realised I'm still sitting in my conservatory (where I took the selfies) still wearing culottes and jacket
They're smart but definitely not try hard and I'm in Paris with work a lot...I'll let you know what my chic snooty colleagues say. If they don't say a thing Or look at me with a quelle horreur look I'll know soon enough Grin

Laska5772 · 17/03/2018 12:49

soy al lreally good on you and I think pink suits your skin tone really well!
. I really, really love the star jumper on you .keep it!

Culottes great also ,(and I think very Parisienne ), I love them with those black shoes.. ( great shoes and so are the silver ).

No Hush on today , I am on a mission cleaning and chucking out stuff!

Nearlyadoctor · 17/03/2018 12:51

Culottes look amazing SoyYo although they never seem to suit me. I had totally overlooked the jacket previously but am now tempted.
Both jumpers look good as well, lets hope the Fay washes well, although the amount we all buy we'd run out of room if things wear too well Grin

FlindersKeepers · 17/03/2018 13:02

LOVE the culottes! You look great!!

SoyYo · 17/03/2018 13:10

Laska and Nearly Thank You you're very kind! and enabling

Yes even DH loved the culottes/jacket ensemble. He's usually very honest and not remotely interested in fashion being a rufty tuffty Biker (is that how you spell it?)

The only one I'm a little undecided about is the camel star jumper because it does show off my boobage, but that's just me being self conscious I think? When I look at the pics they don't look that massive.

On the Fay home alone today DS and DH out just took a pic of last years version next to this years version just to compare. Both S. slightly different styles and last years definitely smaller all over (at least a size yet it still fits me)
Last year got around 8/9 washes before being put away for winter but you can see the fabric is still in good nick so have high hopes for this years version looking still good at the end of summer
Hope I'm not super enabling you now if you were undecided! Grin

SoyYo · 17/03/2018 13:21

Muchas Gracias Flinders Smile
Honestly I'm so surprised was really expecting to return. My legs are my best body feature and I usually wear shortish fitted skirts (ruched skirts suit me) but these culottes are so flowy that they're halfway between a flowy skirt and palazzos.
Somehow they work.

Nearly the jacket is a sort of stretchy fabric, unlined, and I'm keeping as perfect companion to culottes and will also work with jeans and dresses/skirts.

I'm in Paris this coming week with work. Shame about Narnia climate we are having otherwise would have taken with me. Still I'll be back there soon after Easter so I'm sure they'll get plenty of wear. I could see culottes working in warmer weather with white or navy blue linen t shirts, but personally I wouldn't tuck in a shirt as the waist is elasticated and even with a belt it might look a bit strange.

Anyway I'll try not to post too many enabling posts Blush

ilovecherries · 17/03/2018 13:49

You look lovely in everything Soy. I love those culottes, they will look very nice in Paris.

After buying the medium Fay in JL last night, have decided (i.e., daughter insisted) that the small is better. I think my biggest issue is that last year this time I was bursting out of a 22. Now I'm a comfortable 12, but I don't really believe it (or see it). Earlier in the week I was trying on a linen dress in Next. Last year I had to return the exact same dress in a 22 as it was too tight. So I'm saying to myself 'maybe an 18 will fit me, given I've lost a bit of weight' (5 stone!) It's obviously too big, so I try a 16. And a 14. I eventually try a 12, and it's still loose everywhere except chest. So the idea of wearing anything with a small on the label is completely contradictory to my self image.
