I am cross with refunds too! I've had a large refund sitting in my Paypal account for over a week (pending). Why? There is no need for it!

Ellapaella · 14/03/2018 18:44

Do you mean the pale grey rainbow jumper Laska?
I've got that one and I do really like it. It's a lovely material and goes so well with everything. It's perfect for spring weather as it's a lighter jumper but I'm wearing it now.
I've washed it and it washed well.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 14/03/2018 18:46

I've got it but I haven't worn it yet (saving it). Thinking with the black ruched skirt?

Nearlyadoctor · 14/03/2018 18:46

I think it is Laska, the fabric and weight is very similar to my Stella in that colour grey from 2 years ago which has washed and worn very well. Its slightly different without being slogany or too in your face. If that makes sense.
I vary between xs and med in Hush tops and jumpers, and went for a small. I didn't want it too slouchy as will probably keep it as a slightly smarter jumper.

Ellapaella · 14/03/2018 18:46

In regards to fit I got a small (I'm a size 10) and it fits nicely. I think I prefer it not to be too loose to be honest as I like to be able to dress it up as well as wear casually.

Laska5772 · 14/03/2018 19:00

hmm. .... I might try the M again then. perhaps with something summer weight and also with a skirt or shorts rather than jeans .. . I am quite busty , i did wonder if the rainbow would emphasise the norkage too much but it looks fine..

ArieltheMermaid1720 · 14/03/2018 19:00

Does anyone know what the sizing is like on the puff sleeve sweat top? I'm usually a small in hush and am 5ft 4.debating whether to go go for my usual small or a medium as some reviews have said they found it short in a small.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/03/2018 19:12

Actually I had the pink puff sleeved sweat and found it neater than some of hush smalls. Definitely neater than the other sweats..

cherries thanks for size advice on jumper.
So finished super boring budget work...and as all my returns money is back Wink I have ordered:
Bryce culottes on a whim, I've not worn culottes in the last 2 decades...but I thought if they work could be super useful for work
Kensington shirt dress on pre-order in a 12 based on reviews that it's roomy...love the look of it and determined to buy a new S/S dress this looked very versatile
Cosmic Star in S based on Cherries experience...we shall see
Fitzgerald jacket in 14 to allow for norkage but if too roomy will return and size down (if I like it enough)

Will receive on Friday, except dress which is on back order so will update you all then.

Laska interesting that the round neck of rainbow jumper works with large boobs. May be tempted later.
For now enough damage done! Grin

Ellapaella · 14/03/2018 19:35

Ariel I tried the pink puff sleeve on in John Lewis. I'm a 10 and found the small was a good size. It should be said I am fairly flat chested though in case that makes a difference.
I have a photo on my phone of me trying it on - unfortunately I can't upload for some reason to show you but it sits below the belt line at the top of hips, certainly not what I would call short. I'm 5'7.

ArieltheMermaid1720 · 14/03/2018 20:09

Thanks ella and never. I might order both the small and the medium just in case in two separate orders for the Quidco cash back Wink. Just worried in case I look like an Elizabethan!

Laska5772 · 14/03/2018 20:34

soy re Norkage it is true that the rainbow is a bit higher on me than her.........(but then I am 40 years older.. Hmm ...what were we saying about age up thread refuses to use 'old sheep' word may be it is a bit though for me.. )

Laska5772 · 14/03/2018 20:37

And Verily My Lady *Angel' Prithee what is wrong in that !? Grin if I can get away with 'old sheep'

I have the long puff sleeve sweat and love it !

lets have a chalice of mead Gin..

Laska5772 · 14/03/2018 20:39

I do love the 70s feel of the rainbow ( as well as on the Love sweat).. and yes the 70's really was when I was a teen!

SoyYo · 14/03/2018 20:49

Laska I was a teen in the 70s and early 80s too Wink
Good for us is all I can say!
Cheers Wine! please let's not drink mead again!

ilovecherries · 15/03/2018 10:35

I tried the rainbow jumper in JL. It might be because of my extreme norkage but it just looked as if the ends were pointing directly at each boob with a neon message saying 'start here for the pot of gold'

ilovecherries · 15/03/2018 10:49

I have now got the Kensington dress on back order, and the Fay jumper in a small. It will probably be too small for me, but have been stalking returns for it and that's the best option there's been.

neveradullmoment99 · 15/03/2018 10:52

I returned the rainbow jumper. I'm with you Laska Felt the price really wasn't justified. It didn't scream wow to me. I would only ever reorder it if it was in the sale. I much prefer the mint velvet one with the stripes down the arm.

neveradullmoment99 · 15/03/2018 10:53

I think the fay jumper will fit you cherries I have a small and I am a 32E and there is still plenty of bust room.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 15/03/2018 10:54

Its a beautiful jumper btw. A bit thin but I kept it because the colour is just so gorgeous. I also love the stars but it really is also way over priced.

OP posts:
Luckylollies · 15/03/2018 15:27

never I’ve decided to keep the Fay too but it’s quite loose-fitting already and the cotton knit seems to me like the type that might stretch out a lot with washing and wear. What do you think? Also it is on the thin side so I’m wondering if a nude bra would be ok or do you think it needs a tank underneath?

nickEcave · 15/03/2018 16:03

I am really liking the look of the pinstripe bryce culottes. I am under 5 foot though and a size 12 - am I going to look ridiculous in them?

SoyYo · 15/03/2018 16:05

Lucky I have the Fay version in taupe from last summer...assuming its similar fabric (pretty sure it is but last years had a tie bottom instead of jumper style)
If you wash in delicate cold wash mine didn't shrink or lose shape i may have picked up a return too today
Grin It's a really lovely summer top!

SoyYo · 15/03/2018 16:07

nick I've got the Bryce culottes coming tomorrow in a size 12 and I'm 5 3 1/2" so petite and expecting they'll look ridiculous but I will report back.
They'll possibly look like palazzos on us shorties and half expecting to return. I'll let you know

SoyYo · 15/03/2018 16:09

Taupe/Grey from S/S 17, maybe others remember that version of the Fay?
