Thought I would create a new thread for all the Hush addicts!!!

I took a look back at my order history (wow! is all I can say) and there was a 10% off around 21/22 March, although that may well have been when they introduced their S/S collection ( I don't remember there being as many different releases up until last Autumn onwards - there appear to be 5 or 6 releases a year now)

To the poster who asked harems or Amie's, I prefer the Amie's myself. I would have said both would be perfectly comfortable post-partum. My long grey charcoal vest arrived...am really not impressed. It's such a lot for what it is and isn't as long as my Primarni copies (which I've just replaced in black and white for £8) so that is going back. I love the trousers though (name escapes me), the ones with the cuff at the ankle. They look great and will look fab with my black raglan tee. I am still keeping an eye on e-bay stuff because you can sometimes grab a real bargain but in truth, I have noticed a lot of stuff goes for nearer the price brand new. I've had two recent excellent ebay Hush bargains but I think it was a fluke!

i also wasnt impresses bythe long vet.. went to H&M and bought tree yesterday at 3.99 each and i reckon they are beter, not quite as long but long enough.. they also have charcoal in righ tnow.
my hush denim mini came, thats also going back , i like it but then not quite enough to justify th e49 also i realise that of course i already have a nice denim mini, (boden) from a few years ago ,which i dont wear that much, and a blacl denim one also from top shop.. .

the mintvelvet jeans came they are lovely but to big! , sent for the smaller.
i cat help noticing how much Mint velvet are like Hush this year though.. have you seen their grey jumper with rainbow striped sleeves I like it! They also have stars everywhere..

Hush delivery today! I think i’ll keep the Faye pink sweater (have nothing in that color and it’s quite a light neutral pink so easy to wear) but unsure about the denim jacket. It’s nice but a bit thicker than I expected and size-wise i ordered a size down (10 instead of my usual 12) but I “think” they gave me a 12 (cardboard tag says 10 but sewn label says 12) and it fits well. So I think it’s true to size. Color is a bit lighter than I expected as well. Opinions? Keep or not keep??

Thanks Laska I shall go and have a look in our branch for the charcoal vest! I've also just had a look at Mint Velvet, some lovely things on there. Baukjen is pretty good too...also very Hush like. They often do money off offers too.

Lucky, I'm not a denim jacket fan I have to be honest, but that looks a good fit on you and is a nice spring shade. I guess it's how much you're going to wear it. My guide is if I don't absolutely love it, it goes back otherwise it'll end up being a waste!

I do love the Faye though! I wish I'd got one now!

First for cherry who asked about spring jackets for large norkage (I'm one of those) suggest you look at Muubaa for leather bikers. I have 3 (past seasons) and got lots of wear and still do. Don't buy at full price as not worth it IMO, but they often have then on sale or search in eBay and Amazon for old reduced stock.
Here's the link to the Muubaa official site, at 34FF I wear a 14 comfortably and depending on the style it may be fine with you too (look at sizing per jacket style as they vary).

Got the M&S discount order in, trench and kitten heels going back, cheap and nasty but at least DH got new underwear so not a total waste of time.
Only other suggestion is to look at Bravissimo site for jackets because they're cut to be generous up too. I just don't specially like their clothes but could be useful if you're desperate for fit over style...
And no you are not too old to rock a leather mini!

sadly no longer there but worth signing up as I'm sure they'll reduce again. It's higher quality than Muubaa but also more formal/dressy so I plan to wear for work only and reserve most of my Muubaas for everyday/casual wear.
Oh yes I also have a Mango and a Muubaa suede bikers. Mango is okay, Muuba suede higher quality.
I have these bikers (leather or suede) in black, brown, pale blush, deep burgundy and now cream but I love them all and they are hard wearing and it's my favourite type of jacket rock chick at heart here no matter how old I get I've always worn leather jackets (since I was 18) and been with the biker crowd so it may not appeal to everyone. Still have my first proper leather thick biker jacket bought in 1980 and it was for riding not fashion.

Lucky love the starry pink top keep hoping it will be back in stock and the denim jacket but I don't know if it's me but shouldn't you size down in the denim jacket? Looks very roomy on you and just wondering if a size down would be better. I'm usually a 12 in Hush and I think I'm a size bigger than you (judging by the photos, it's hard to tell)

On Hush vests I really adore this, got with the 10% discount in M and the lace peeping out of deep v necks (top and bottom) is fabulous plus as a bonus DH admired it standalone though I wouldn't dare wear it out without some coverage ...very chic boudoir!

Having said that a leather mini can also work extremely well with a slouchy top and flats disclaimer I don't own any leather skirts but why on earth not?

The denim skirts arrived. I'd ordered a 12 and a 14 in both the mini and the pencil. I needed the 12, which is still loose enough to sit a little lower. I think I'm going to keep the pencil and send the mini back. I'm 5'7 and it just feels a tiny bit to short. Even with thick tights I'm not convinced that I wouldn't flash my arse in it, and I certainly couldn't wear it in the summer. Now I just need them to crack on with all the refunds I have pending! Am I the only person who thinks a) paypal balance isn't real money therefore can be spent indiscriminately and b) refund money was already spent anyway and thus can be spent again?

I am actually fed up waiting on my refunds. They are taking absolutely ages. I had to wait an age for two refunds and now one more. Its very annoying. I am going to chase it up tomorrow. They also were slow in getting back to me with the previous refunds.

Hello! My final refund is in Yeay! It's taking on average 2+ weeks to refund from original return date so agree it's not good enough!

Fitzgerald jacket I thought it could be alternative to denim because I already own a rather nice denim jacket and would prefer a dark blue to the pale denim wash. Has anyone had this? Hesitating whether to order 14 (34FF) or whether I can squeeze into a 12 which would otherwise be TTZ if it weren't for chest size...
I could see this working with so many things and love the navy blue shade...
Cosmic Star Jumper in camel/grey star which looks like a summer version of the Stella. I have 2 winter Stella jumpers (grey/camel star from 2016 and grey/electric blue star from 2017) both get a huge amount of wear (like right now) Anyone tried this summer version and can recommend?

Back to boring budget work...will check replies later this eve.

I had the camel/grey star and returned it. It was huge - seemed larger than the grey/navy I bought in the winter. Even slouchy the medium was vast on me.

So,,, the Rainbow jumper.. Its nice..but is it £79 nice? .
(have tried M and the L, both good, but I think I prefer the looser version)
What does everyone think about price and fit.. ?
