Its John Lewis though. It says if you pay completely by paypal or by gift voucher then you need to bring a photo licence [which I don't have - only an old paper one] or a passport with your picture on it [means digging it out]
I mean it was only £30!!! Not the bloody crown jewels!

noodle I love the Tabitha blouse. Think the pattern is beautiful. I will order it at some point. Love a corally colour :)

noodlezoodle · 03/03/2018 02:57

Yes never, it's a beautiful pattern, really looking forward to wearing it. I looked at the blouse and dress as well but plumped for the skirt in the end. Of course, thanks to this thread I now have about 5 more things on my wishlist Smile

Laska5772 · 03/03/2018 08:09

never i often get things delivered to our Waitrose.. they are always fine with my work ID card (which has a picture of someone resembling a serial killer on it.. supposedly me!). I ordered the love sweats from JL last night as Hush was OOS in the Love sweat in L...( and also M, so spent enough for post delivery).

Snow almost gone here , wonder if we shall see postie today, but maybe not with my Hush order for Stevie jeans and linen tops as Hush distribution is in Leeds i think.

noodle I like the look of Tabitha skirt. buy haven't quite warmed to the diamond print in the Ts yet.. they look at bit 'Star Wars' to me..

Laska5772 · 03/03/2018 08:14

sorry no, gotmuddled up . It was the Santana skirt I liked ! in Paprika, ( but then again its just polyester which is a it annoying)

neveradullmoment99 · 03/03/2018 09:28

Laska I don't think polyester is as bad as it once was in texture. I remember it was the fabric of the 70's. I had so many things from nighties to dresses as a girl in that fabric and it felt horrible. I think some things are surprisingly polyester.
Anyway, I have checked the tracking on my order [ linen tops one and a few other bits and bobs]and it is still not budged from Leeds. I suspect its down to the Glasgow delivery office though not being open??? Don't think Leeds was that bad at the time when it was dispatched tbh but Its been like that since Thursday!
We still have very thick snow in all the side roads but the main roads are clearer although I haven't ventured out personally.
The Santana skirt is lovely but I'm not ordering for summer yet. Saving that for when the temperatures warm a little.

John lewis has dispatched my order to Waitrose so should be here tomorrow!!!! Fingers crossed. Its only the blue raglan and probably wont fit me!!!

I was thinking of just taking my work ID - If I can find the blooming thing!

My order has been in Leeds since Wed as well. And I'm stuck at home (in Scotland), having made what was meant to be a flying visit on Tuesday.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/03/2018 10:17

I am getting cabin fever. So sick of it now Cherries. I want my parcel. I want to be able to go to the shops in my car. I am getting pissed off!!!!! The only thing I am happy not to do is go to work!!!!! and I have no idea what is happening with that on Monday!

OP posts:
ilovecherries · 03/03/2018 10:22

Yes, it has distinctly lost any novelty. Husband is completely cut off in our rented house in England as well so even if I managed to get a train to Penrith he couldn't get me from there. I know I'm safe, warm, better off than a huge chunk of worlds population etc etc. But I AM bored. And no doubt in a few days we'll be flooded. I'm going to have to try to get to shops with a rucksack today though.

miffy2 · 03/03/2018 11:43

Another one wishing the white stuff would just up and leave. Have been house-bound since Wednesday apart from two short walks to the shops to stock up on fresh food. Kids bored by their electronic games (!) and by the snow too. I really hope we all get back to normality by Monday. DD has big exams in June and only brought home material for 3 of her 7 subjects, not realising she would not be going back in for a good few days.

My latest order is in RM Yorkshire so I would say the end of next week before it gets to me via Parcel Motel in Belfast.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/03/2018 12:12

Well strangely I got some 'letter' post through my door. No parcel though! A letter for PPI and believe it or not a bloody hush catalogue lol.... Funny how that made it!

OP posts:
Laska5772 · 03/03/2018 12:45

I got a Hush catalogue also this morning.. ( but no parcel although ive not looked up where its supposed to be )

Laska5772 · 03/03/2018 12:50

My order from Hush is still at Leeds (stevie jeans and linen tops).. not surprising really.. am in no hurry

ilovecherries · 03/03/2018 15:21

I got a hush catalogue as well. Have got enough food back in for the next four days. It's a bloody zoo out there. It's as if people are going 'no milk? So what have you got? Toilet paper you say? Give me 5 multipacks of that then'

neveradullmoment99 · 03/03/2018 16:49

I walked to Tescos and I haven't seen the shelves so bare. No bread, very few fruit and vegetables, no eggs, pancakes or anything like that. No milk, no pizzas!!!!! Very low or nothing left on a ton of stuff!!! I was a bit Shock. It really is a lesson on how things can be so easily depleted!

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 03/03/2018 16:50

I have very little bread and milk but will make do even if we have to have fish fingers for breakfast!!!

OP posts:
miffy2 · 03/03/2018 19:51

I walked to our nearest shop this afternoon, never and like you, it was practically cleared out. Surprisingly they had had bread delivered so I got some, but no cheese, ham, milk, veg or fruit (apart from unripe mangoes!) I got eggs so we will probably have French toast for breakfast tomorrow. I am ok with dinners in the freezer until Tuesday/Wednesday anyway. But yes, it shows how quickly the supplies can run out. Apparently people were queuing up for over an hour to get into the bigger supermarkets this morning Shock

neveradullmoment99 · 03/03/2018 21:14

Its ridiculous. I hope it gets better tomorrow!

Hi I've bought the Hush Ali velour black top for a night out next week. I think it needs something like a necklace to liven it up a bit. I never really wear jewellery and so don't have anything to go with it.
What sort of necklace do you think would work well with it?

neveradullmoment99 · 04/03/2018 09:57

I think anything delicate would look good. As long as it doesn't hang close to the neckline. It should hang above it. If you look at the model she is wearing a delicate half moon necklace. It looks nice with it. You can get lots of star necklaces like this. This one is expensive but a google and you will be able to find cheaper version.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/03/2018 09:58

Gold or silver would be your choice or depend upon the hardware on your bag etc.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 04/03/2018 09:59

The one from hush might even be too long. Make sure it is above nearer the hollow of your neck.

Honey1975 · 04/03/2018 10:10

Thank you never that's very helpful
