Number 81! The days are getting longer, and we're looking forward to shedding a few layers for Spring, while remaining stylish of course. If you love talking fashion and new buys, come on in, all welcome! Gin Wine Brew

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/02/2018 13:05

I did not know Uniqlo did maternity! thanks QueenC.

Those jeans Shock !

The jewelled crocs are ridiculous and anyone who pays £365 for a pair is an absolute mug.

Those jeans shop ShockShockShock

I agree queenc that some of the things available are just terrible and people who pay £££ for them are just bonkers.

The APC bag was a lovely colour and I could see lib in the top you linked too.

Another miserable day here. Headed into the office today so a chance to wear something other than jeans or joggers (albeit the cashmere ones Grin). Wearing a black knee length skirt and black skirt with a small white star print. Nice to make an effort once in a while Smile.

No fashion news. I have been relatively sensible of late (don’t know why!) and refrained from making any purchases. That’s not to say I wasn’t tempted by this floral dress or top in the same fabric but they just seemed £££.

Your half term plans sound nice dry, I’m sure you looked great yesterday in your (brave) outfit. We’re away this weekend. Weather looks dry but still cold. I’m soooooo ovvvvvveer winter now. When will it be spring???

FedupNagging · 13/02/2018 17:40

Hmmat the Mih jeans. Can't imagine they'd be particularly comfortable around the nether regions Grin

Very pretty dress and top Everyone

shopafrolic · 14/02/2018 17:48

MarshaBradyo · 14/02/2018 18:56

Happy Valentine’s Day lovely voguettes

Those jeans made me wince Shock

All is good here, the weather is making me hunker down with lots of baby time. Having built in entertainment in the firm of older siblings can be handy!

DryWhiteagainW · 14/02/2018 23:06

QueenC great links.....”who buys this shit?” Made me chuckle.

Shop those jeans Shock are they imagining one might to take a leg off from time to time? I’m also thinking you could get into all sorts of bother in the loo Grin

So, had a good browse on Tuesday in the city.

Pastels made m e feel a bit sick.....Oasis is like a kids sweet shop ......
COS was full of great stuff, I bought.....

DryWhiteagainW · 14/02/2018 23:07

this top

DryWhiteagainW · 14/02/2018 23:09

Would have bought this top in another colour. shop it’s the style that the chic lecturer wore in that drama we watched, can’t remember the name now.......

DryWhiteagainW · 14/02/2018 23:10

Bought these trainers really like the blue star.

DryWhiteagainW · 14/02/2018 23:13

MarshaBradyo · 15/02/2018 13:53

Lib thank you so much! Love my gift, I don’t have any yet so they’re perfect Flowers also love that they’re handmade in NZ, means a lot to me Smile

MarshaBradyo · 15/02/2018 14:06

Lovely day, have spent some time in the garden, Dry are your ankles out?

Will be the daffodils or your ankles that mark the first day if springWink

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 15/02/2018 15:56

Can definitely see you with that bag Dry, it's really nice.

Sounds lovely Marsha :) (both the hunkering down and garden time!)

My pelvic pain has been easing a bit the last day or 2 and today I had my physio assessment - lots of advice and it was helpful to understand what's going on. I now have a nice stylish elastic belt to wear while walking, and they also recommended I get some large size Spanx to provide extra support for the stage I'm at. Feeling positive!

Not ankles Marsha . It snowed a teeny bit today so defo a boot day.

DryWhiteagainW · 15/02/2018 17:14

I've booked my summer holiday! Does anyone else then get all over excited and very almost panic buy loads of holiday clothes they don't really need Confused ?

DryWhiteagainW · 15/02/2018 17:15

Just me....but I actually pulled myself together and closed that window

MarshaBradyo · 15/02/2018 17:31

I get so excited booking holidays, have three to put in! One at Easter, Italy and summer family one.

This time I bought dd an Italy capsule wardrobe (JOKE), I couldn't help myself, she'll be 7 months. It includes tiny flowers on tops and yellow terry towelling shorts, all from a really, really nice online site in France I have it bad but I have an excuse after 2 ds Blush

Also bought a first rattle - crochet rabbit and first rag doll, really cute French one - some of it more for me of course!

maradesbois · 15/02/2018 17:43

Hello!

Just popping in from skiing holiday to say not much uptake for mu on 17th so maybe we do it later (after Easter)? I am definitely down that day though if any of the yeses want to do a mini one?

Dry no panic buying, forbidden! I nearly panic bought a sweaty Betty ski jacket that I didn’t even like that much & so glad I didn’t. Must be lovely to have summer hol to look forward to already.

Am such a crap skier but having lessons and slowly progressing, lots of camaraderie and encouragement in the class. Sitting by log fire in the chalet with a glass of Savoie white trying to improvise foam rolling my aching legs with a shampoo bottle.

Marsha Caribbean or Indian Ocean for guaranteed sun or too far with dd? I imagine her blonde like her mummy.

Bourgainvillia · 15/02/2018 17:53

First of all many congrats!!! As its still chilly I think keeping warm is deffo vital still! So here goes.
For your legs uniqlo stretchy jeans.
For your feet some trendy purple warm comfy knee high boots like these boots
And a warm jumper by good old Woolovers.
Finally, a big Barbour coat to finish the look and keep you cosy.
Thats my type of look.

Longislandicetee · 15/02/2018 18:30

Hello! I think this is the latest I have ever been on a thread! Been hugely busy with family stuff and work, but now relaxing by a fire apres ski drinking vin chaud in our hotel bar. Thank you to everyone who posted on the last thread with ski clothing advice. It all came in very useful plus an excellent thread on the ski board.

Chalet sounds lovely Mara. We might do that next time. Dh was that desperate to ensure I enjoyed the holiday that we are living it up big style. Daily spa treatments is the way to go.Grin

Thinking of you BlairFlowers

Haven’t looked at links yet but will check out later!
