Number 81! The days are getting longer, and we're looking forward to shedding a few layers for Spring, while remaining stylish of course. If you love talking fashion and new buys, come on in, all welcome! Gin Wine Brew

Talking about holidays I’m booking our Easter one. Where have you been that is warm to very warm and sunny at Easter?

FedupNagging · 11/02/2018 18:07

Have a fab holiday Dream. Loving you attitude re the lbs - pretty much mine too!

Lib, your outfits are definitely laid back summer stylish; so pleased you're all settled now & dd is making friends.

Will update on the clothes order when I have more time.

Dreamqueen · 11/02/2018 18:22

I'm off to India for 3 weeks on Saturday then home for 1 day before going home for my nephews wedding. I know it's not possible to become thin before these events but have decided thaton my return will putbmore effort ito eating sensibly. I read an extract from a book called theEating lab earlier that said accepting a healthy weight is the way forward instead of wanting a a weight that may be acceivable but not sustainable. Basically it says accept a weight that is happy rather than wantingone that we think we should have.

Going to order the book to read when away, then I might stop buying clothes to fit into instead of clothes that I could enjoy wearing now. Not sure that any of this makes sense.. I've been out for boozy lunch Smile

DryWhiteagainW · 12/02/2018 08:49

You are making perfect sense Dream and it all sounds very sensible. However, after 3 weeks in India you may well fit into all of those clothes that are a bit snug.

DryWhiteagainW · 12/02/2018 08:50

Oh and I’m hibernating this half term....no visitors,no visits, nothing, just tea and a good book....

Today I’m going to copy Sienna Miller....hold on will try to link

DryWhiteagainW · 12/02/2018 08:55

here with the addition of my CoS navy wool coat. Think, since we are practically twins, I’ll pull this off perfectly

Hmm
shopafrolic · 12/02/2018 09:31

Morning all. Sorry for general slack posting performance at the moment. Hope everyone is well.
Dream have a fab trip
Dry really pleased to hear you are having some proper downtime for a change
Has a MU date been decided?
I went out to a party on Saturday night - wore my Oliver Bonas sparkle dress with black opaques and my new M&S silver boots.
Wore the silver boots again yesterday with black skinnies, grey Uniqlo polo neck, M&S coatigan and grey hat. Felt very snuggly. Freezing here but sunny.
Not too much planned for half term - we are still having work done outside so I need to be around for builders and electricians. We have finally found a company who can help with the well we discovered. It's going to cost £2k to get a glass cover installed! The joys of living in a Grade II listed place.
Lib sending love to you - cicadas made me smile and think of sunny summer hols :)
Marsha give your lovely little lady a cuddle from Shop

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 12/02/2018 09:47

Hi all

Lib thank you, I ended up ringing my midwife on Friday and went to see her to get a referral form filled out. I now need to ring the hospital to book in for a group session to see whether they will offer me proper physio. I'm trying to take it easy but am still in pain. Luckily it's only on one side so I can limp around everywhere. So glad your DD is getting on well, the way you talk about life there is lovely to read.

shop outfits sound fab! The silver boots sound versatile in the way that my red ones are... just giving that extra something to an outfit. Of course I am off heels atm with the hip Hmm Booo for house work. my PILs did a glass cover on a well in their house in France and it looks really good, they have put a light in under the glass too.

Am very Envy of your plans this week Dry!

Marsha we've been looking at places to go for some sun around April, as I don't want to travel later than that. Canaries, some Greek islands, maybe Portugal? We also looked at Dubai but it is so expensive. The zika virus has scuppered our dream plans of mexico or thailand!

Your plans sound very sensible Dream and the holiday sounds lush, 3 weeks!

Don't tell me you are doing cropped jeans in Feb Dry Shock. Otherwise perfect Smile

Dream very sensible - much better to focus on being healthy and feeling well than constantly beating yourself up over a number on the scales. You always look fabulous at MU's - you have such a distinctive style.

libertyonhertravels · 12/02/2018 10:01

Glad I made you smile Shop.

Great that you can access a group class Blair. I had SPD in pregnancy and a couple of group classes really helped.

I've just come off the phone - chatting to my Mum and she sounds so down about the weather that I'm feeling guilty about being in the heat Confused.

DryWhiteagainW · 12/02/2018 11:01

Right , I am Sienna....only prob is it’s now sleeting Shock but will persevere with socklessness since I’m in the car most of the time ......

FedupNagging · 12/02/2018 19:33

Have a fabulous time Dream; A sustainable happy weight makes lots of sense.

Blair hope you mange to ease the spd pain. It doesn't sound pleasant Sad

Shop your outfits at the weekend sounded fab. I love the OB dress.

Sienna Dry, great look but crikey, you're hardcore! Roll on the warmer weather.

Most of the clothes I ordered are going straight back - all the Hush items were just too baggy in all the wrong places. The Whistles breton came up small and the Whistles shirt too big - both the same size Hmm

I love these side stripe trousers from MV but just cannot make them work - too long (easily sorted) but not really a great fit on me.

Several other items didn't arrive as oos. So, after all that, I am only keeping one top, which, luckily, I love: red stripe breton from MV

shopafrolic · 12/02/2018 20:16

Blair i’m going to text you x
