I saw this bag in store the other week and it’s lovely. I don’t need navy and don’t like the yellow for me so I wish they had other colours.

I was passing through M&S earlier so tried on the silver brogues that Shop linked. I did actually like them but not quite what I'm after. They didn't have the flatform brogues in stock so couldn't try.

I've seen these Carvella brogues but not sure if the black heel is too heavy?

Stokey I wasn't keen on the EH balm so swapped it on the M&S calendar thread for another tube of the Korres night cream which I love. I also loved the Gatineau moisturiser.

I went to SpaceNK today to buy foundation. I hate buying it - always think I have the right colour and then get outdoors and realise it is too light / too pale. I've bought a Laura Mercier candlelight one and the store have very kindly given me a little pot with some in first so that if the colour is wrong I can return the unopened main product and exchange it. Brilliant. I also bought a Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Stick in Au Naturel which I had seen recommended on another thread. I don't normally wear eyeshadow during the day but am noticing as I get older that my lids look darker and need something. Hard when I used to be a no eyeshadow and lashings of liquid eyeliner kind of girl. Am hoping this will be quick and easy to apply and not need touch ups. Will report back.
For those of you who suffer from dark circles like me I have found another good eye cream which is a bit cheaper than the Zelens. Elemental Herbology

See what you mean about the soles fedup. Think it depends how you want to wear them? I think they’d work in winter but may look a bit too heavy for spring.
shop I’d been thinking of getting an eye shadow too. The recent stress has taken its toll on my skin and I look very sallow. I need sleep and sunshine but maybe an eye stick will work miracles.

I’ve been following the IG thread with fascination. At the beginning of the year I unfollowed loads of people like WIT and her wardrobe icons etc. I realised they were all totally pissing me off and if I saw WIT one more time with her smug sucked in cheek bones on yet another holiday, I was in danger of breaking my phone . I tend to only follow companies now because that way at least I know I’m being advertised to rather than someone pretending they bought something because they love it. I still follow Susie so so And fashion lift because they both quite like a blouse!

Agh, I've been looking for hours and can't find what I'm after shoe wise - at least not in budget anyway!

On the plus side, I came across a few tops I liked from the end of the sales so they are on their way plus a couple of fp items.

I only follow fashion stuff on insta. So much better than pin as I actually get images I want to see, not absolute garbage, what happened there? Mostly magazines, interiors and high fashion photography, plus a few 90s ones. Brittany Spears was so slim, and back when the supermodels were around

Right, it’s 5th of January and so far I’ve bought:
1 gym top
1 shirt
1pair of boots
1 dress
And THE perfect black swishy midi skirt......

I’m rubbish aren’t I? (And I’m so ashamed that I’ll only link the skirt)......

Not a cool brand at all, but skirt is so flattering, looks great with fitted white shirt and pointy patent flats, also with my fitted black and white stripe top.....a very useful basic I think (and great for pasty legs)
