here you go

FedupNagging · 06/04/2018 19:55

Dream have the shoes arrived? How are they?

Marsha that's excellent news on the med insurance front although will you need to start the whole medical process again?

Late school fashion was a mixture of Bananarama and Lady Di and collars and sleeves most definitely up. Seem to remember jumpsuits and skyhigh stilettos too.

My order finally arrived today so only tried the shoes and I can't decide! Love them both:
Silver from Jigsaw
Navy Phase Eight

Help me make a decision....

Blair sorry you are in so much pain; hopefully the mattress topper will help a bit.

It's really quiet here at the moment so hope that means you're all busy doing lots of exciting things or on holiday over the Easter hols. How's your df Shop?

What's everyone up to this weekend? Have spent most of the day in the garden today and have loads more to do tomorrow and then out for dinner in the evening.

MarshaBradyo · 06/04/2018 20:27

Blair yes it feels like manna from heaven. After a battle at each turn and tracing things though the system I simply rang the consultant’s secretary and have an appointment next week! Blasted insurance co making me wait longer for no reason but it’s so fast with it. It’s to see the same person just 1 to 4 months faster Shock

Fedup not much has happened so it’s still on track

Ok going to look at your links

MarshaBradyo · 06/04/2018 20:41

Oh that’s a toughie maybe navy

Blair I really feel for you re pain oh man the new firm mattress I got towards the end of pg killed me. Ended up putting the old duvet as a topper on my side
It’s fine now without it but sheesh. I hope the topper helps

libertyonhertravels · 06/04/2018 22:06

Well done Marsha - supermama! So frustrating but thank goodness things can move along faster now.

Poor you Blair Sad. SPD is horrible. I hope the topper helps.

Fedup after all that hunting you score two beauties! I'm edging towards the navy I think.

libertyonhertravels · 06/04/2018 22:07

Blair yes, I will post pictures when I get the things I have ordered!

DryWhiteagainW · 06/04/2018 22:34

Shop you beauty, thank you.

Next question.......what jeans Can I replace my Paige jimmy jimmy skinnies with? Don’t think the mid wash is done any more. Need a nit so skinny on the ankle iykwim.

Fedup you’re about my height. Can you recommend a wide legged trouser (black) to wear with trainers?

kittyhello · 07/04/2018 11:53

Dry can't help with jeans, I buy all my jeans from Next as I they're the only item of clothing I like to try on before buying; they do a petite range which are the perfect length for me, plus I have a rubbish selection of shops where I live.

Re: trousers I fancied a change from cigarette and 7/8 trousers for work so bought these wide legged trousers I'll also wear them with white Stan Smith style trainers too.

As you know I'm quite partial to a Primark blouse and tried this blouse on, didn't do much for me but thought it's more you Dry

white high neck broiderie anglaise blouse 10th clothing item down

Bought these gold sandals they look much better irl the pink ones are lovely too, but I already have a pair of shoes in a similar colour.

Marsha great news you're covered, hope things move along swiftly for dd now.

Fedup I like the navy ones too.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 07/04/2018 12:06

sorry to hear you are in pain blair i hope the topper helps. Have you been told about putting a pillow/cushion between your knees while you lay on your side? it does help with easing the pressure on your hips, i found it a great help myself Thanks

fedup i like the navy too

no fashion news to report here other than I bought a pair of burgundy star print suede platform hi top converse! I LOVE THEM!!! i want the same pair but in black now Blush kinda justifying it to myself since i've barely bought anything else at all!

FedupNagging · 07/04/2018 12:46

Navy espadrilles it is then - thanks Smile

Dry I have wide legged trousers from M&S, Next and Atterley road. The Next ones are from the petite range as like Kitty they are a good fit. I ended up getting about a foot lopped off the Atterley road trousers but they are really nice and will be into their 3rd year this summer.

Love the blouse you linked Kitty plus the stripe jacket & trousers in the same link.

Have had a good trying on session this morning and this is what I am keeping

Whistles t shirt
Boden wide legged crops - sale bargain at £28.

The navy espadrilles looked really nice with the crops, white ankle skimmers & navy linen trousers - will get a lot of wear I think.

DryWhiteagainW · 07/04/2018 20:34

Oh thanks Fedup and Kitty . I’ll pop into Primarni to look at that blouse and I really like the grey linen trousers too, I’m sick of black.

Caught sight of my legs in the mirror this morning, good grief back to the pasty, winter blue/white Shock........

Longislandicetee · 07/04/2018 21:56

Hello! hope everyone is having lovely weekends.

Blair, i had SPD with ds - i feel your painThanks. But Marsha, what fab news!!

Lib, loving the new brands and designers you're bringing to the thread.

We took the kids out today for a day trip to a castle and had a wonderful time. As we were traipsing around woodlands, I wore my YSL Breton cashmere sweater (it got very warm later!) with GAP kiddie jeans, Ugg bootsGrin and my Canada Goose jacket which i bought a couple of months ago. I have to say I love that jacket - it felt really expensive at the time but now thinking it was well worth it.

Tomorrow we are taking them for a surprise to see their favourite musical - haven't told them yet, as i actually wanted them to sleep tonight!

Who posted the open toe with the kitten heels? They're lovely!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 08/04/2018 18:14

Any tips for coping with SPD when you have an office job Blingy? As of this week, sitting at a desk for hours on end is extremely painful! Hope the DCs enjoyed the theatre, sounds lovely!

One thanks, yes I am doing that. The topper has helped but not as much as I hoped, sigh. Your trainers sound fab and very you :)

Your buys will be perfect for summer Fedup especially with the espadrilles like you say.

Hope everyone's had a nice weekend, it's been a bit wet here but I did manage to go to brunch with some friends yesterday for a long overdue catch up.

shopafrolic · 08/04/2018 18:39

Hey Voguettes. Does anyone have a Mango discount code please?

kittyhello · 08/04/2018 19:45

Shop no Mango code but I've signed up to Honey and whenever I go to a retail website they'll suggest codes that might work. Sometimes they don't but sometimes they may work, could be worth signing up to them.

Blair sorry to hear you are still experiencing a lot of discomfort, I didn't have SPD so am ignorant of the symptoms, hope you find something to ease the pain Flowers

Blingy here's a more upmarket version of my gold M&S sandals Sezanne gold sandals

Fedup I like your Boden crop trousers

YvesKleinBlue · 09/04/2018 13:24

At Heathrow waiting to go to our next stop after a wonderful weekend in London.

We stayed at the ShangriLa in the Shard which was amazing. I am going to miss the heated toilet seat! (And the view of course Wink)

We had some amazing food as well. Thanks to mara for recommending these places.

Jean-George’s at The Connaught was perfect. Amazing room, food and service.

Isabel was great as well. The loos were quite something and I have put a loo selfie on our old Pinterest board.

DH shopped till he dropped but I only got a lovely IM étoile dress at Liberty.

I forgot how much I love London even though it has changed so much since we left ten years ago!

YvesKleinBlue · 09/04/2018 13:37

Oh and we also had a delicious lunch at Yoshino, a Japanese restaurant just off Picadilly in a tiny alley.

If DH hadn’t shown me where it was I would have walked right past.

MarshaBradyo · 09/04/2018 17:09

That sounds wonderful Yves I will have to remember the good places to go for the future

Blair does standing help? I think Work places have to give you a standing desk if you ask (?)

justasecond · 09/04/2018 20:12

Blair sorry to hear you are suffering. i had it too with dd2 and Ds. I found wearing silk or satin pyjamas at night helped as it made it easier to turn over.
Marsha that's good news. Hopefully you will be seen quickly now.
Yves sounds like you had a great time!
Fedup the navy espadrilles are lovely
Lib love seeing the links to all these new shopping possibilities!
one I like the sound of your new converse
blingy great outfit. Sounds like the Canada Goose was a good buy.

So, I have a bag quandry! I finally got a Matches code and ordered this www.matchesfashion.com/products/Staud-Bissett-leather-bucket-bag-1200636 then the colour I originally had my eye on came back into stock
this one Not sure which to keep now. I think the burgundy one is better all year round wheras the brown is more wintery. Looks lovely with black and dark grey. What do we think??

Dreamqueen · 10/04/2018 16:35

Lovely bag Justa I like both colours, sorry to be of no help.

*Yves8 sounds like you had a lovely time & fab food.

I've tried on the dune shoe purchases. I'm undecided about these ones I'll try them on properly tomorrow & decide. The black platform ones are perfect and very comfortable. My little toe pokes out of the side of gold ones so def going back.

Popped to westfield this morning & bought this black dress and this navy one Cos had some lovely dresses inshore.

Dreamqueen · 10/04/2018 16:35

Instore not inshore!

Everyonelovessparkles · 11/04/2018 14:21

Just lost a massive post aaarrrggghhhh Angry

Everyonelovessparkles · 11/04/2018 14:42

Glad you all had a nice Easter. We were down in Cornwall for a few days. It was nice and the weather was better than expected but still pretty fresh!

I have been reading, just haven’t had much fashion inspiration to post about.

fedup I like both shoes. The silver seem a bit more dressy / summery but I can see that the blue would also get a lot of wear too. Sorry, not very helpful!

blair I do feel for you. I remember having to sleep in our spare bed a lot during the second half of both pregnancies as it was so much softer than our bed. Would a blanket underneath the topper help make it even softer?

marsha hope all is going well with DD.

dream glad you had a good time at the wedding. Shame about your clothing casualties.

Nice buys lib. Hope the move is progrsssing well.

shop your comment about drunkenly hiding chocolate bunnies made me laugh! Hope your DS found them all!

It’s only 7 weeks till my holiday now and I’m not feeling summery at all. Plus the Chocolate mountain the DC received for Easter isn’t helping the pre holiday diet. Though I did see These sandals in m&s kids which look good. I can’t believe I had forgotten all about kids shoes, they are so much cheaper!
I also saw this
red and blue and this Colourful dress in LKbennet that I tempted by (albeit not very summery) though they are still both a bit ££ even in the sale and I’m not sure I really need them.... so i’ll Think about those. I did buy this
blue Stripey top and really like it. It will look good with jeans and jeans once then weather finally warms up.

Did we ever decide on a date for a MU? I know after Easter was mentioned but can’t remember if we ever set a date??

MarshaBradyo · 11/04/2018 19:19

Everyone I don’t think so, we need to!

Thanks for good wishes we saw someone today, it wasn’t great : ( but still need to do MRI for full picture

MarshaBradyo · 11/04/2018 19:22

Dream love the dress I could only see the first one

Justa for some reason your Staud links are taking me to the home page must investigate further
