I'm back home in need of detox. Have had a lovely time at pre, during and post wedding shenanigans. The casualty list so far is trashed dress, lost bracelet, broken chain on handbag and feet cut to ribbons by new shoes.( the sensible flat shoes had left the wedding long before I needed them in the back od someones car).

mara I’ll pm you the restaurants we booked in Paris. Getting there will hopefully be ok as we’re flying but leaving might be a problem as we are taking the train back to pick up the DC at the DGP’s and massive strikes have been announced.

Why doesn’t the strike through work anymore?!

Blingy sorry to hear about dd being bullied, we've had a bought here of dc being bullied, I was so angry and went to see the head, it died down for a while but reared its ugly head again a few weeks ago. Touch wood there hasn't been anything since. I hate bullies

What would my 1 spring purchase be? Hmm I'll have to have a think, been too busy working to even browse so Viva I hear you on the work front and I am only part time but practically do full time hours for part time pay grr

I had a few things arrive - Isabella Oliver dress was too big, and the Mango slides were too narrow for my feet. I'm now at that awkward stage where the maternity clothes I've bought are too big for my bump, but my trusty me+em dresses are only just still fitting. Thank goodness for these short work weeks!

Nearly Easter which is lovely

Glad the scan was ok blair. I remember drinking coke/hot chocolare and walking around to get one of mine in place for the scan too.
I am just about driving the Easter hols. The weather hasn’t been as bad as forecast so have got out more than I anticipated which is good.
I’m hoping that I’ve just the Barbour away until next winter although it’s not quite warm enough yet for my spring coat but too warm for the Barbour.

Blimey I can't believe it's been 2 days since anyone was here! I have been horribly busy the last couple of weeks so this weekend is definitely about relaxing. Except....Just bought the Easter eggs, I need to write the rhyming clues later despite the fact that every year I swear to do it earlier next time.

We are 5 weeks into another 4 month stint of redecorating the house - final one! - so my head is full of wallpaper and paints. The decorators were in my dressing room a few weeks ago. All my clothes came out and it was a tad embarrassing...
I definitely need to declutter ...again

On a positive clothes note I have lost a few pounds which means my j crew toothpick jeans finally fit again. Hurrah!

Hope you all have a wonderful day with family. As i was creeping around the house at 11pm last night leaving the 20 hunt clues around - I did think to myself....you're such a mug.

On the other hand, today i get to have chocolate, biscuits and sweets for the first time in 6 weeks as i decided to give them up for Lent. Sheer willpower has been needed at times!!

Dry, you might have to get in the queue as i think Shop is dying to get her hands on my dressing room - but she doesn't want anything, i think she just wants to declutter

Our hunt has happened already! They were so excited even the 13 year old, so I agree never too old. I love doing the build up which rooms etc and loads better in this house

We're on our way to blingy's for the declutter out for lunch with family and an overnight stay so we can all have a drink or two.

Weather is terrible so am wearing black mv skinnies, black Alice temperly top, lots of silver jewellery & snakeskin ankle boots.

Dh was in charge of hiding the eggs but I think he must have got bored because the dc were complaining he had just left most of them all over the sofas!

Fantastic news Blair and just think of the money you will save! I really went to town with my 2 dd's clothes but when I had ds it was a struggle to find anything I liked.

mara the bag I liked is sold out in the colour I was looking at and still no Matches code! I called them and they said they were given to customers who hadn't shopped with them in last 13 months, the cheek! Admittedly I only buy from them in sales and with codes but still!

lib well done on the new job and hope moving again is not too stressful. I did keep the sandro jumper and actually got it for half the outnet price in the sandro outlet sale. I don't usually wear anything waist defining as it accentuates my bigger hips but it looks ok. I got these trousers from sandro too which go well with it sandro black cropped trousers

blingy I am impressed at the 6 weeks no chocolate. I had given up on sugary stuff but have fallen off the wagon in the last few days with all the eggs in the house.

I bought this jacket for spring mango blazer I think it looks better in irl. It has different colour threads running through it that the picture doesn't show.

also this boring but useful black trench to replace a similar one I had that is worn out now zara black trench

waiting for weather to get better now so that I can wear them

I have two eggs but haven't opened either of them yet, been buys solving Ds's computer crisis! turns out hes got a malfunctioning part so we've asked for a refund for it and am in the midst of looking for a replacement for it for him which we'll hopefully get to him this week

We are at home this weekend and having a massive sort out/declutter. We even braved Ikea yesterday and were in and out within 2 hours including breakfast! DH is still building flat packs which are mostly drawer unit to go inside cupboards. I love getting organised.

The egg hunts sound fun, hope everyone is having a lovely relaxing day with lots of choc eggs!

Marsha I nearly spat out my wine and chocolate when you said 13!! How the hell did that happen?
Did roast lamb for DF, DM, DH and DS. Poor DF looks v poorly but enjoyed lunch and I was so glad he made it here. My cousin and her husband also dropped in (I haven't seen her for 4 years) so that was cool.
Little to no fashion news as I am getting carried away with interiors at the mo. I got this book the other day which I am enjoying.
Our garden is still being sorted (remember the job that started in October?) Driving me mad! Hopefully it will be completed this week.
