I had to explain the term “a stiff drink” to DD the other day.

I’m binge watching Suits ....the corporate clothes are fabulous.

I just watched the first episode of the Assasination of Gianni Versace - absolutely shite but the clothes are fabulously OTT.

Well, Dp is going to take the second bag of stuff I've sorted to the charity shop today hopefully, then it will stop me being tempted to pull stuff out. Trying to be really tough about it! In my quest to sort through things though I found some shoes I thought I'd lost which I'm happy to see again and want to wear, so that's a nice bonus

Now I think I can start buying for the holiday without feeling guilty. I have an idea of what I want I just need to find it, well, hopefully find it, I suppose it depends what's available on the high street!

I finally got out of my cocoon of my house yesterday, I thought about taking inspiration from Shop and being fashionable then decided that wasn’t going to happen! What’s really annoying is that 4 days doing jack all has made me sluggish and I have put weight back on.

Blingy me too. 2 days on sofa snowed in watching 28 episodes of Suits, daily step count about 100, I feel like a whale

Right, as a result of my binge watching I have decided (at 51) I need to become a Mansging Partner so I can have big hair, wear pencil skirts, fab statement jewellery, sky scraper heels every day and have my own drinks trolley in my office! Alternatively I'm going to become *Blingy"s PA. think I could bluff it.

Actually binge watching Netflix does improve my life skills. I am also an excellent surgeon, know everything about advertising, could survive e in jail, rule the world as well as being Presudent of the USA!!!!

Agggh. Had to decamp to the spare room, DH snoring and me coughing, this bug isn’t the gift that keeps on giving. I’ve had to sit on my hands this week as I’ve seen lots of lovely things online but the amount of clothes I have already is ridiculous!

Managed a few drinks round the corner last night, black Jamie jeans ( absolutely love them), my new silky M and S body , navy fake fur coat with Whistles French 75 heels and whistles navy and black leopard clutch.

Probably PJs today, though I might venture to Aldi to grab a pot of face cream I’ve seen advertised.

Desperately hoping to get back to the gym this week, I usually go 6 days out of 7, but haven’t been since last Monday.

Nipped to the shops earlier. Tried on this blouse but it reminded me of a work tunic.

THIs was meh

new lipstick. Lovely shade, my lips but better. I’ve kind of abandoned the brighter colours for more neutral shades lately.
Whilst trying it on, I asked her to make me look amazing. 2 creams, a primer and a foundation later I did look all dewy but felt completely caked and itching to take it off. When I got home I also realised that I looked aw white as a ghost. So I was glad I never bought it. Less is definitely more when it comes to make up for me.

Queen love that lippy. I too don’t love heavy make up these days, I was a bit spotty this week and reverted to my Clinique foundation for a couple of days, and whilst only a light base it still felt heavy after my usual CC cream.

Dry I hate to disabuse you of the notion that the world of professional services is a glamorous one, but it's less drinks trollies in the office, more Red Bull from the vending machine.
