Number 81! The days are getting longer, and we're looking forward to shedding a few layers for Spring, while remaining stylish of course. If you love talking fashion and new buys, come on in, all welcome!

That jumper is fab shop. It’s a bit similar in style to madeleine thompson but hers seem more fitted. I had a look on the sorrel website, there’s a lot of choice!

The slippers arrived and they are very cosy. They came in a lovely storage bag too. The personalisation is nice and uses the two colours you choose for the stripes in the initials. I ordered my normal size and they are fine. I’m guessing they will give a bit after wearing and once the lining has squashed a bit, but I wouldn’t say they were tight from new. The sole is quite thin though so hopefully they will wear ok. But they are toasty!

Every thanks for linking the slippers, would love to know how long they last. Slippers don't tend to last long with me, apart from my current ones which I've had for years.

Dry what's wrong with the shoes? I sent mine back because the print was really "loud" and not subtle, I want subtle ones.

I’m the same kitty with slippers, because I’m at home so much I wear them all the time so they really get a hammering. I’m guessing you could get something similar to these, without the personalisation, for a fair bit less.

DH just ordered me these slippers for Mother’s Day
He leaves for a trip this weekend and won’t be back for 11 days so I think he’s feeling guilty for not being around on the day itself. He then gets back for 4 days and then goes to Canada on business for another 5. I may feel a little stressed at times

Kitty the MV shoes were all wrong. The print was whiter than they looked online and the style didn’t really suit me, but it was mainly the print that bothered me.

Shop I cant see the link without signing up for mailing list but am sure they look good, have heard that ugg slippers are fab. I hear you on absent dh front, haven’t seen mine for more than one evening in 2 weeks. Side view of boots attached btw.

Everyone ooh, they are fab, love a bit of personalisation. Think that is a brand who does a lot of SM ‘influencer’ advertising, you should get a special MNV discount .

Am off now for my Linda McCartney sausages and scrambled egg with mushrooms and to catch up with Marcella series 2 which only just realised had started (love eating like this when dh away).

kitty ah I’m well enough, just my once a year lurgy come late. Just annoyed as I had tickets to session Paul Weller tonight, anyway they’ve gone to a good home so never mind.

Just a quick one , saw someone mention the CT PIllow Talk lipstick up thread. I’ve been using a L’Oréal lip liner in ‘Beige a nu’ which many say is a great dupe for the CT liner. I’ve just ordered 3 more as add on for an Amazon Prime order at £2.99 each. I fill in the whole lip with them and then go over with a lip colour ( particularly loving Givenchy rouge perfecto in Pink ).looks really nice.

Apparently my snow boots are out for delivery today but not sure whether they'll make it as it's snowing heavily again now.
DH is in bed with man flu (48 hours before he flies) so miniShop and I are watching Pokemon.

ugh, it is SO cold! I was meant to head up north to see Ds today but given that half the trains are cancelled and I can't currently get off the roof terrace out on to the street because of the ice, its just not happening we are trying to work out getting ti switched to another weekend though so waiting on hearing back about what weekends will work for them as well as me.

OOTD is pjs with a harry potter onesie over the top, the ugg boots i wear as slippers and if venturing further than my desk or bed, a towelling dressing gown over the top!

I’m on a days holiday, Ikea trip abandoned due to weather, so coaxed DH into a supermarket shop then baked a couple of banana loaves with some left over bananas. I’m a complete scruff today in fleecy bottoms and a very old stripy top.

Shop love how you stay stylish in this weather with leather leggings. Pokemon- the bane of my life, I've spent thousands on Pokemon cards, only slight exaggeration.

Moor oh no about having to miss PW You Do Something To Me is one of my all time favourites. I love banana loaves.

One stay warm and safe

No fashion news here have been living in my NF arctic parka, Sorel Tivolis, heat tech vests under merino jumpers and jeans and have felt quite warm.

Can't wait to crack open the s/s clothing and wear blazers, 7/8 trousers and ballet flats.

Shop i am seriously impressed babe. I have abandoned any attempts to look fashionable! My outfit for the last 2 days has been cashmere joggers, thermal top and cashmere top. We live in a large period house with lots of windows. And all the windows are single glazing. Brrr. Our heating is working overtime but it's still chilly here! Downstairs freezing so I have tried to mostly stayed in my room whenever the kids have been occupied!

Did the boots turn up shop? I agree, a very stylish outfit for the weather! No prizes for guessing what I’ve been wearing . I couldn’t access your slippers link either, but that was a nice treat from DH and DS (even if you are going to be going solo for a fair bit of time).

mara I love a bit of personalisation too! Yes I’ve seen Rae feather bags on quite a few instagram pages too. How are you getting on with Marcella? We started watching the first eipisode of the new series but I didn’t like it we haven’t bothered with the rest.

Hope you’re feeling a bit better moor. Good plan to try the coat on in store, sizes can vary so much. That’s the one annoying thing about online ordering.

blair hope you managed to get to and from work ok yesterday. Around 1.30-5 it was snowing quite heavily here, resulting in the usual travel chaos.

The snow is still lingering here but even the DC seem over it now! Hope you all have a good weekend!

Everyone did you see series 1 of Marcella? I think it would be too tricky to get what is going on without having watched the first series. I love it but then I like gritty, twisted, dark drama

DH is still dying with man flu while miniShop and I battle on through a cough and runny nose. Off out in the snow to the pharmacy for supplies.

I’m impressed with anyone that remains stylish in this weather. Yesterday saw me in tracksuit trousers with tights underneath, a heat tech long sleeve tee, a vest, a sweatshirt and a cardigan. And hat hair! Will make a bigger effort today, mainly because I don’t plan on venturing outside. Even the kids are bored of the snow now .
one sorry about missing out on ds. We’ve missed out on the theatre and shows that dd was meant to be performing in. But obviously not as upsetting as not seeing your child -

Leather trousers again today (better than thermal leggings under jeans). Another striped Uniqlo thermal top and Lib’s grey COS sweater dress.

Lurgy still well and truly with me 😢 think it might be PJ, slippers and Mumsnet today! Hacked off as missed Paul Weller Thurs and I had tickets to see Soul to soul / Band New Heavies tonight, my friend can’t get down from the Midlands and I’m not well enough to go. What a write off this week has been. Might cheer myself up with some online shopping.......😷

thanks for the sympathies everyone, thankfully it shouldn't be too much hassle to have it switched for another weekend, got to start making calls on monday to get it arranged. I know he's as disappointed as me but I had to be sensible as much as it sucked. Still hopefully it won't be long until I do see him

The snows almost gone here now but ti's still really icy, the ice is the problem for me, I can walk on the snow but the ice is just beyond me, as soon as i get on it, my crutches start slipping from under me. I fell twice trying to get out for an appointment and gave up int he end as it's just not safe. Hopefully i'll be able to get out on monday for it

shop’s stylish effort inspired me to make more effort with my outfit today so am wearing black skinny jeans, cream polo next, long black cardigan and my new leopard print scarf.

Am out tonight for a friend’s birthday drinks. Expect I will wear my leather skirt and some sort of jumper. Boringly predictable but warm!

Moor The BNH are my favourite band of all time - my first ever gig. I’d be gutted too. Hope you feel better soon.

shop , I know ! Reminds me of being 21 and carefree, such a shame to miss it but hey ho. Hope the family improve as the day goes on. We had a bracing walk with the dogs to blow the cobwebs away and I might attempt a week drink at the wine bar round the corner later.
