I’ve been reading but haven’t had much to add lately. I ordered the Karen Millen dress I linked recently as there was 20% off, but it just wasn’t me when it arrived, so that has gone back. As it was bonus month, and winter is still coming , I ordered these slippers that I have been lusting after. I’ve decided that this year, i think I will buy less but splash out on items that I really want.

dry I have also been looking at summer stuff for our holiday in May. I did succomb to buying a bikini and day dress as was getting so sick of winter.

Does anyone else find winter dressing more difficult / less varying that Summer dressing? I find that I am just wearing jeans and jumpers 97% off the time. Even when I try and vary it, it’s been so bloody cold that I’ve had to change mid day! (When at home!).

I really like winter dressing everyone. I’ve got a lot of coats and boots and love knitwear. I miss having my ankles out and all of the various footwear options warmer weather offers. But, I know that by september I’ll be hankering again after wearing boots and coats etc......

I don’t find much in White Stuff but this skirt is very clever. A reversible skirt is genius, two in one, and the spot print means I’ll be able to coordinate with lots of different colours. I got it with 20% off. Great for work and home. Not that exciting I know.

Maybe it’s just my winter wardrobe dry. I just find it difficult to break out of the jeans / jumper rut so even when I try and vary the type of jumper/ top, it’s still just jeans and a jumper....

Dry, that skirt is great but it's the kind of print that can either look really good (no doubt on you) or totally pants (I suspect me if i ventured anywhere near it!)

Despite it being freezing cold today, I saw this Russell and Bromley laser cut bag which I thought might be quite good for spring and summer. I also saw that the Lauren sandals are back in stock so i might get it this summer as we have 4 weeks of vacation in the sun this year.

queenc did you ever find a top similar to the Boden ravello but not the ravello? Only my cream one has bit the dust and I could do with a new one but the ravello seems expensive and once it’s been washed it’s just never the same....

I’m so desperate to get my ankle out. I like spring/autumn dressing best. Cropped jeans, blouse, jacket or cardigan. Perfect look for me.

I’ve just read ST style. I had high hopes as it’s the trend issue. In reality I found it dull.

Question of the day: what lipstick brands do you rate. Ones at a counter as I always prefer to try on first. I’m after something to replace my Charlotte tilbury one as I love the colour but not the formula. It has staying power but kind of ends up looking like old lady lipstick by the end of the day. It’s difficult to explain but I don’t like it. Other than that my lipsticks are House of colour ones so I need a new brand please.

I would love to be able to wear this beautiful Alexander McQueen cardigan but me thinks it's for long waisted and not short waisted people.

Queen i don't think I've ever found a lipstick that stays all day. My current CT stays on the longest swiftly followed by the Clinique chubby stick. I don't currently have any but Bobbi Brown & Mac last quite well too.

Brave to post this Sandro knit dress as there are 2 left in my size but I quite like it.

QueenC, if I know I am going to busy all day and won't have the chance to reapply, the 2 brands I use for staying factor are Nars lip pencil and Tartiest lip gloss.

That dress is almost identical to the black one I bought a couple of years ago and always makes me think of you when I wear it Blingy......buy it!

Lipstick brands......Mac matte lipsticks are my favourite hands down

everyone we must have cross posted. I agree with the ravello tops. Lovely when new but not after washing. Mine also got random stains on that I couldn’t get out.

I can’t think of a replacement unless you want polyester.

these look lovely on but get a bit static-y. I have s gorgeous pink one from last year but didn’t wear it often as I sweated too much in it

So my purchases were..
flamingo dress. Love this but the flamingos look too stark on a black background. Would have been so much better in navy. It’s going back.

sweatshirt. Looked meh on. Going back.

blouse. I’m a sucker for a Gerard Darel blouse and although it’s ridiculously expensive I know I will love it every time I wear it. Expect to see this at the next meet up!

I love the print of that flamingo dress queenC but the dress is entirely the wrong shape for me. I absolutely need waist definition or i Look even bigger than i really am because my waist is my smallest point.

I forget who linked them but i loved the velvet timberlands, no way would i pay that price for them though because they would have limited wear as I couldn't wear them in the rain or snow as the velvet would get destroyed. Very pretty though

DD did my make up today. Really fun, but now I’m worried mine is normally too heavy. It looks like I hardly have any on and i look tired today. Now I’m confused
