Number 81! The days are getting longer, and we're looking forward to shedding a few layers for Spring, while remaining stylish of course. If you love talking fashion and new buys, come on in, all welcome! Gin Wine Brew

DryWhiteagainW · 23/02/2018 23:26

Bloody phone (and classy stick on nails making loo texting difficult!)

Longislandicetee · 24/02/2018 07:48

GrinGrinGrinGrinDry!!!! Tell us more!

It's been a horribly busy week, i am so bad that it's over. From 9am on Monday to 6pm yesterday, I was in all day meetings, back to back with no breaks for even lunch.
Blair, lovely to hear your excitement about your pregnancy, even through all the not so great things.Smile

Lib, i am feeling you on the fashion front! Just checked my Pinterest board and realised how little i have bought over the last few months.

Marsha, it's going to be so cold next week! i recommend that everyone lives in cashmere joggers next week - it really will be the way to go! I have been wearing a series of knitted dresses this week, including this very old Hobbs Peggy dress

libertyonhertravels · 24/02/2018 08:50

Ohhhhh -1C max Shock Shock Shock. Good clothing advice from Blingy though I think if I was there I'd be declaring it a work from home week.

Marsha sounds like you are well underway with all your house stuff. I am craving owning a home again.

If I get a job offer next week I am going to shout myself some new gym gear. I'm trying to go at least 3 times a week and most of my stuff is really old so I think I'd like to chuck it all and buy 2 pairs of leggings and 2/3 tops and sports bras. There are mirrors in the studio where I do my classes and I'm definitely the frump in the group Grin though DH points out that if I notice what everyone in the class is wearing I'm clearly not working hard enough

libertyonhertravels · 24/02/2018 08:51

And yes Dry we need some details, you can't just post that leave us hanging...

libertyonhertravels · 24/02/2018 08:59

And I have a small but important piece of Kiwi fashion news - Zara are launching online in NZ soon - oh happy days Grin.

FedupNagging · 24/02/2018 09:47

Sunshine, house, (almost)job and Zara - your life is complete Lib! Am keeping fingers crossed for the job offer.

Dry stylish outfit last night but where were the willy deely boppers?Grin

Queen loved the pink trainers and the GAP blouse.

Blingy hope you manage a relaxing weekend after your full on week.

Thoughts on these espadrilles please? I tried them on in store and thought they looked really nice but wondering if the style is a bit whispers frumpy. Perfect heel height.

Am layered up with thermals and knits - just about to take the dog for a long walk - but the sun is shining so will be lovely. Maybe swing by a dog friendly cafe afterwards for coffee and cake.

MarshaBradyo · 24/02/2018 10:40

Not sure about those Fedup I sometimes see some on the outnet

Blingy love that dress, can imagine you looking ace in it

Dry how funny!

Lib -1 must sound pretty life affirming from where you are Wink luckily it’s sunny. I quite like cold weather as long as the sun shines

Longislandicetee · 24/02/2018 12:13

FedUp I don’t think the style itself is frumpy but I think worn with the wrong thing I could see how they could look frumpy. Hope that make sense!

QueenCapri · 24/02/2018 12:20

fedup I’m not a fan of wedges and way do that may be clouding my view but a combination of black and the amount of material makes them look too heavy. I think you can find nicer ones tbh.
lib dh has a point Grin. It’s such a confidence boost though to be dressed nicely.
Operation self worth cumulated in another Online shop last night. Will pick up from Waitrose later and report back.
Lovely sunny day here too although cold but dd not feeling well so stuck in!

QueenCapri · 24/02/2018 12:42

QueenCapri · 24/02/2018 12:45

QueenCapri · 24/02/2018 12:47

QueenCapri · 24/02/2018 13:22

QueenCapri · 24/02/2018 13:26

QueenCapri · 24/02/2018 13:36

MarshaBradyo · 24/02/2018 14:41

Arf at those shoes Shock

FedupNagging · 24/02/2018 16:07

Thanks for the comments - thought so! Gorgeous Valentino wedges Queen

I've looked on the Outnet and Matches and found these Castaner wedges and a couple of others but being short of leg, I need to stay away from the wrap around leg variety. Also want closed toe.

Those shoes and boots are mad although could see Amber in the shoe/bag combo

This Erdem dress is lovely - Mara?

1974 wants it's clothes back! Although tbf, it does look great.

Lib for you - really love this look with the masculine shoes

Ski pants are back!

Were you looking for more cashmere lounge wear Everyone?

FedupNagging · 24/02/2018 16:08

And finally, Boots for One

DryWhiteagainW · 24/02/2018 17:17

Fedup I had a pair of black wedge espadrilles years ago, loved them.

I escaped the hen night at midnight . It was quite civilised really and my head is surprisingly fine today. I got a sneak peak at the wedding dress photo as I can't make the wedding......

DryWhiteagainW · 24/02/2018 17:18

And Liberty the in website for gym kit is gymshark . Some lovely stuff there

Longislandicetee · 24/02/2018 18:41

Some of the links today have just made me laugh so much!!

I feel the need to link something pretty after that green denim "dress"! Dh got me this aquamarine ring which i am wearing today. I keep looking it and going to myself "Oooh so pretty". The ring isn't enough to warm me up though. It's so cold in my house that i am wearing 3 layers at the momentHmm. I have a Me&EM layering tee, and then on top of that the M&S cashmere Breton that mil got for me Christmas, and the Barbour gilet that dh recently bought me.

kittyhello · 24/02/2018 20:52

What a beautiful ring Blingy it is very pretty indeed. I'm wearing a Uniqlo thermal vest under a sweatshirt to keep warm.

Those white flares keep following me round the internet, my eyes

Can't believe Timberlands could cost £650 Shock

No new purchases from me, can't wait for warm weather to wear my gold Birkenstocks.
