Currently on way home. Considering we were only in Europe the journey time is awful! Kitty I never thought I would ever utter these words but I have loved this ski holiday. Learning something new with an amazingly patient instructor, me time in the morning, a relaxing massage at the end of each day, then vin chaud followed by a 4 course gourmet meal. And to top it all off I lost weight! To be fair most of the weight loss came through sweating buckets as I spent 6 days utterly terrified

Blair there were some uber designer clad glamorous women on the ski slopes but I wasn’t one of them! The best ones I saw were long limbed, tanned, slim and wearing white ski jackets with white ski trousers. I saved my efforts for the apres ski - usually a cashmere sweater, blue jeans and leopard print ballet flats.

Marsha having also done extensive research, I completely agree with Stokey on warm places for Easter. For that reason, I have given up holidaying then and we tend to go the last week of May during Summer half term.

I can imagine you having rocked that look the first time around Amber. I tried but couldn’t really pull it off!

We went away last year at Easter and it was quite warm but can be risky

I would take some of that 25 degrees, we had a couple of sunny days but back to the cold next week

I think longer haul might be too much, perhaps a mildly warm break us the way to go, scrap what I said below I do have loads of free time just not free arms and phones are a pain to scroll on aren’t they

i'm around, just a bit swamped with family stuff so haven't much time for anything atm. No shopping to report at all, i haven't even looked at anything! still working on doing a clear out, having the flu really knocked me, i'm still recovering really, i'm sleeping over 11 hours a night right now and still spend all day exhausted.

Will have to start looking for holiday wear soon though, wanting long sleeved or at least 3/4 length sleeved cotton tops. im covered for my bottom half i think, i have loads of cotton skirts and plenty of shorts that still fit so its really just tops ill need.

dry i hope your elbow is better soon, tendonitis is horrible and so painful

Blingy I used to team them with a Kookai crop top, an adidas sweatshirt knotted insouciantly around my waist and one of my MANY pairs of Air Max. It was a simpler time.

Not been that much tickling my fancy lately, but I've been rediscovering forgotten favourites like my Gucci tee and Zara yellow boots over the past couple of days as the weather has warmed up! I'm so sick of living in cashmere roll necks and black bloody trousers at work!

Dh bought me this Barbour gilet last week. Would never have got it for myself, but I really like it.

Great purchases Amber . Love the bright striped sweater, after dull winter colours I’m ready to get into spring colours. Also like the wedgie jean (but not the name...oooch) ...... quite fancy a pair of raw hemmed skinnies.

My new resolution is to limit myself to only one item a month.......wonder how long that will last

I finally made a purchase - did an asos order, will report back if i keep anything!

i'm so annoyed. My waist has got thinner but NONE OF THE REST OF ME HAS having bigger hips than waist already made buying trousers and jeans a nightmare and now it will be even worse unless the rest of me starts dropping some inches to match. I have ONE pair of jeans that fit sort of okay, they could be better but they are the best out of everything ive tried. uggggggggggh

I missed out on dressing like the all saints even though im about the right age as i was forever convinced i was fat even though looking back, i really wasn't. i just wasn't as thin as a lot of the girls i went to school with and i let it get me down

I had counselling today and we discussed my self worth. Came home feeling energised and took two bags of stuff to charity. Anything that vaguely doesn’t make me feel amazing has gone. The dress I bought the other day with the gold zip has been returned too as o know it would annoy me. I’ve got a really great winter wardrobe at the moment as a lot of the stuff I got rid of was summer stuff. I need to do a big summer shop but I always begrudge paying lots of money for stuff when I don’t get the wear from it. I ordered shorts from Boden the other week before they all sell out in the summer but the bastards seem to have changed them slightly and so they didn’t fit as well.

shop I live in my ash virgins and silver lacostes at the moment. I’d love some pale pink trainers but haven’t found any I like. I tried vans but they looked really odd on me, as do supergra and gazelles.
Btw thanks for the LM eye stick rec. I love it and amazingly it does stay put.

My unintentional no spend has definitely come to an end. Ordered TS Jamie dark blue under bump jeans, and a blue and white stripe maxi tank dress. What I've bought so far

Shop I want new trainers too and was considering Vejas, but have seen loads of people wearing the chunky sports styles a la Nike Air Max or even Balenciaga.
