Botox for '11' lines

Has anyone had this done?

Were you happy with the results, and did you have any problems with it?

How long does it last approx?

Apologies if this has been discussed many times before, but I am in a bit of a rush today. My frown lines are really getting me down (pardon the pun!), and making me look loads older than I am.

Just thinking about it at the moment, so would really appreciate any stories/thoughts good and bad!

I got just 11s. I'm confident you guys will get great results!!

Aridane · 24/01/2018 16:55

Free - I go to Skin Spa Marylebone High Street W1 and have it done by a nurse. I wait though until one of their twice yearly offers of buy one area, get another area free

This is me on day 10, I can see such a massive difference! I'm going back for a follow up though as when I frown I still get quite a frown where the 11's are, she wasn't sure how much to go with there for me, so went for less, and def needs a bit more! My skin is pretty bumpy and awful since the Chemo, and this has really helped with that too. Great results below too guys! X

Sorry here is an after shot in similar lighting to the before! I still have a bit of movement in eyebrows, so still have a slight wrinkle above outer brow, going to ask her to address that also at follow up :-)

Wow salad that looks fab! It's really smoothed out your forehead.

I'm excited again now...roll on Friday!

I still have awful pores though, but even they have been improved! I'm a convert. Makes it easier to cope with inch long hair and wig wearing 😫

Sorry not read all the thread.

I’m an iteee Botox concert since having a year or so ago for the first time. It really is awesome.

My question is - how frequently do you get done? I’m averaging every 4 months for my 11s

Fosterdog123 · 25/01/2018 20:07

I have it done about twice a year.

For those asking for recs, I go to dr raph at the consultant clinic. He's amazing. He works all over the world and holds clinics in most of the main uk cities, including London and Dublin.

Aridane · 25/01/2018 20:11

Twice a year for me

FacelikeaBagofHammers · 25/01/2018 20:15

Foster, really? I've been trying to find some real recommendations from that guy but haven't been able to. He also has clinics in Dublin too and I was tempted ...the results on their Insta page are amazing, but I didn't know how much of that was pure marketing .....

Good to hear you recommend him, cheers.

mrsmuggins53 · 25/01/2018 20:19

Can't have it if you've got ms

Alittleconcerned1980 · 25/01/2018 20:50

Do you give it a few weeks of the 11s back?
Or do you go at first hint?
Thanks

Fosterdog123 · 25/01/2018 20:52

Yes, really. I've absolutely no connection with them. I've been having Botox for over 10 years and he's the best I've ever used. I've had a consultation with him about fillers too and will be using him later in the year when I take the plunge. There's a wait list though and he always runs very late, just to warn you in advance.

FacelikeaBagofHammers · 25/01/2018 21:01

That's great to know foster, cheers!

Ooh Dave! How did it go??

DavetheCat2001 · 26/01/2018 08:31

My appointment is at 11 (ironically enough!)

Will let you know!

DavetheCat2001 · 26/01/2018 12:21

I have been Botox'd!! Grin

Not painful at all, apparently the full results take 2 weeks to show, so I am looking forward to that!

Will post an 'after' pic when things look less 'frowny'!

Great news dave. What sort of consultation did you have?

Looking forward to seeing the results!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 26/01/2018 13:21

Did you just get 11s or more too? Looking forward to seeing the results!

DavetheCat2001 · 26/01/2018 13:32

The consultation was basically just the lady telling me what happens/how long it should last/any side effects I may get etc.

I was in and out of there within half an hour!

I just got the 11's done. I did ask her about my forehead lines, but she said there was a risk of me getting droopy eyebrows so to maybe see how I go with this 11's and then do some more at a later stage.

I also asked about fillers for the lines between my nose and mouth which I HATE, and she quoted me just under £700, so that's off the menu for the time being!

I am such an impatient person though..I want to see results NOW!

FacelikeaBagofHammers · 26/01/2018 13:37

I have those lines too. I think the best way to get rid of those is to have fillers in the cheek area to lift it, which in turn will lessen those lines.

I think filling those lines directly can look a bit fake if overdone!

ilovesaladcreamandbeards · 26/01/2018 14:14

Mine started to show day 2 or 3 Dave, so maybe you too will see a difference quite quickly :-) Did it make a crunch noise? Not sure if that's maybe just the forehead 😂
