Went in yesterday and spent £46 exactly.
For that I got 5 smock tops and 2 pairs of trousers.

And whats even better is that I'll have probably bought my whole maternity wardrobe now.

I was so impressed. Everybody should shop there.
Never mind that Kate Moss overpriced tramp clothing range at Topshop.

Porcupine, oh how I'm laughing right now at your last statement!

< hysterical laughter shaking the house! >

Cappuccino · 26/04/2007 14:39

porc you are a snobby oik with your poor people

I have Primark stuff that has washed fine, considerably better than mils endless vile gifts from Hewss of Freyser with the migrating seams as soon as they see water

if you want to buy something to keep for years then don't go there

but tell me honestly if people will still be wearing smock tops/ maxi dresses/ whatever in 16 weeks time and I imagine the answer will be 'no'

last year I was sick of all - ALL - my clothes and I went to Primark and spent 80 quid and had a whole new wardrobe

which is not bobby, Olive

nailpolish · 26/04/2007 14:39

nailpolish · 26/04/2007 14:39

nailpolish · 26/04/2007 14:39

princessmel · 26/04/2007 14:39

I think the clothes do wash well. Really.

And I get the most compliments from people when I'm wearing primark clothes.

Not all of it is nice but you can get some nice things.

In the Oxford St one they didn't have much left in 10 or a 12. I saw loads of lovely things but they were all in other sizes so I had to leave them

Wore a £6 top the other day to school and 5 mums commented on how nice it was in 15 mins. [smug emoticon]

And the people I see in primark are either normal mums /women like me looking for a bargain or very fashion aware girls.

Porcupine · 26/04/2007 14:39

Fimbo · 26/04/2007 14:46

Dislike the grubby "white" shirts the sales assitants wear.

ScottishThistle · 26/04/2007 14:46

Oh come on ladies, where are all the style gurus??? < Cod, I thought you'd have had a good guess! >

Trinny & Suzannah have absolutely no effect on what we find in the shops each season!

Johnny Boden! [Not sure whether to laugh or cry!]
