Went in yesterday and spent £46 exactly.
For that I got 5 smock tops and 2 pairs of trousers.

And whats even better is that I'll have probably bought my whole maternity wardrobe now.

I was so impressed. Everybody should shop there.
Never mind that Kate Moss overpriced tramp clothing range at Topshop.

I think it makes great sense to buy the odd piece of current fashion in shops like Primark rather than paying £40 more elsewhere when you're likely only to wear it for a season!

Ooh if only I could tell you who my Boss is, all those who think they're above it would eat their words!

Marne · 26/04/2007 14:25

I love Primark, can't afford to shop anywhere else , you get loads for your money, i find the jeans fit well and most of it washes well.

Why spend a fortune on kids clothes when they are only going to wear it for a few months and get felt tip etc on it.

We can't all afford Boden, Monsoon and all those other shops that charge £20+ for a top.

I am envisaging waffting about with my curly hair and flat strappy sandles looking serene

Nbg · 26/04/2007 14:25

Good point BD but I do have an uncontrolable urge to buy all the time on clothes and shoes.

I just love them and I do actually cry when I see things that I love and cant have.

Yes I am incredibly materialistic and sad.

Totally agree with thread title. I love it.

Its like a time warp when I go in there. I come out ages later and it feels like minutes.

oliveoil · 26/04/2007 14:34

I don't do halter necks as I have a scar on my shoulder (mouldy mole removal)

also bra situation gets complicated

DrNortherner · 26/04/2007 14:34

I gte lots of compliments on my Primark clothes. I have alovely trench coat, some fabbo combats from there and a gorgeous smock top.
