I'm probably not the person to ask because I don't think it's possible for any contour/highlight to be worth FIFTY POUNDS unless when I put it on it literally transforms my face into that of say, Natalie Portman.
I've spent £40 on urban decay eyeshadow palettes because you get 16-20 shades and the packaging is so gorgeous it's a treat to look at. The quality is there and the colours lend themselves to an almost infinite number of looks.
But for a product like this where you get two things and can get items to both contour and highlight well for a tenth of the price? Get outta town.
It seems so artificially inflated, like she charges insane amounts specifically to give the notion that they're worth more, people think 'well they must be good if they can charge that much'! And the price makes them exclusive and lends an air of luxury and superiority. But at the end of the day, makeup is cream with pigment in and coloured powder and coloured wax.
If you have the money and will get pleasure from it go for it but I sincerely doubt anyone could argue with a straight face her items are 'worth it' when they're astronomically priced and we have a multitude of brilliant quality items available in places like boots!
It's all very emperors new clothes imo. Even if the quality was good I still doubt it can be worth that much.
For a contour kit I love soap and glory's little kit, it's a round compact with a cream blush, highlight and contour shade. And the contour shade is actually wearable (not muddy warm brown). It's about a tenner.
