Are Charlotte Tilbury products worth the ridiculously expensive cost?

For example, I absolutely look the look of the the Hollywood Contour Duo but bugger me it's £51. Ditto the lipstick trios - look gorgeous but £60 for three!

I love the perfume but I refused to pay that price for a plastic bottle (not even glass!)

I know she must be laughing all the way to the bank but is the quality of the make up really there?

I don't think I could bring myself to buy any Jeffree Star stuff, I just find the whole adoration of his stuff ridiculous, I don't know why but when I was on a certain FB group they'd all literally wet themselves with excitement and then post pictures with the most ridiculous cut crease eyes etc... I feel at 39 I'm a bit too much of an old timer for it! 😂

Jeffree Star is racist, I wouldn’t give him a penny of my hard earned money.

I have this: www.charlottetilbury.com/uk/filmstar-bronze-and-glow.html

My sister bought it for me- I would never have even looked at it for that price but it is wonderful. Once applied I use a bog standard beauty blender and my skin looks great. I think I would buy it again as I have had it since last Xmas and it’s no where near finished, so good value for how long it lasts.

I had a makeover in the Covent Garden store which trod a very fine line between glamorous and drag queen. When I actually had to choose between one of the ten looks on offer - there's not much personalisation - I realised that they're all close variations on a single theme: a lot of make up. I've had a few makeovers at SpaceNK and the majority of the time spent was on creating a perfect base, whereas at CT the emphasis seemed to be on getting as much product slathered on my face as possible so the artist could hard sell it at the end.

The MUA who did my wedding make-up is a big fan of CT eyeshadow palettes for their blendability and used the light foundation on me (but it didn't really last that long); I like the Pillow Talk lip liner but it's a lip liner; and the Stoned Rose lipstick is nice but does that annoying cheap lipstick thing of pressing against the opposite side of the tube so you end up with ridges.

As a side note, I like the Rosie for Autograph range but find the lipstick shade palette a bit weird - lots of muddy purple-y nudes, and only one red?

Her foundation is the only time I have ever gone back to a shop and asked for a refund.
Absolute shite.

lots of muddy purple-y nudes,

Oooh they are my favourite. I will go and look now you've said that.
