It’s ok. Good for travel.

snowflakestar · 05/12/2017 17:12

Yes, of course, missfliss. I tried various balms from the posh ones like Emma Hardie to Clinique and Botanics before giving up - though I didn't try M&S! I don't wear foundation or tinted moisturiser either which is why skincare is something that I'm so interested in and willing to invest in. I'm not sure on liquid exfoliants; I liked the fab pads but pixi glow tonic broke me out and so I've been too scared to try liquid gold which is supposed to be harsher.

missfliss · 05/12/2017 17:54

Me too re the pixi glow! Also not keen on trying liquid gold for same reason. I found the clarins one really good and much gentler.

It may be that glycolic is aggravating to us, the ordinary do a good lactic acid serum that I've found quite good instead x

Not too fussed about micellar water but I do like balance me products. This size cost £6 so by my adding up we are up to £58 worth of product 👍

snowflakestar · 05/12/2017 19:05

I liked the Clarins one too - I'd totally forgotten about it until you mentioned it.

Yes, it could be that. I've heard lots of good things about the ordinary but haven't tried it (yet!) so will make a note of that serum - thanks x

caggie09 · 06/12/2017 08:42

Ive heard really good things about this primer, so happy with todaysSmile I have just found the perfect primer for me though, so will see if this beats it!

RJnomore1 · 06/12/2017 08:54

I'm still on the hunt for my perfect primer. Happy to have another one to try.

Based on £30 for a 40ml version I'm making this one £11.25 do a total of £69.25 so far.

Which is already more than I paid for the whole thing.

snowflakestar · 06/12/2017 08:54

I'm quite pleased with today's. I don't need primer as I don't wear make-up on my skin but I've tried it as a moisturiser/ mask and I like the slightly dewy finish and feeling, though I did use loads.

missfliss · 06/12/2017 09:22

I’m quite pleased to have the chance to try today’s - I hear good things about the This Works. brand. I might try it for the Xmas do.

Used the scalp detox

Spent half the morning picking gritty bits out of my very thick hair

Perhaps not for me...

snowflakestar · 06/12/2017 12:03

That was like me, RJ! I think I might have finally got it all out another two washes later! I normally only wash my hair once or twice a week but I'm getting my highlights done this week and I can't go with gritty hair!

BringMeTea · 06/12/2017 12:32

Thumbs up today. I have wanted to try this and am just running out of primer.

sake · 06/12/2017 12:38

Looking forward to trying the primer. Still v impressed so far, although haven't tried the gritty scalp detox Shock

problembottom · 06/12/2017 12:54

Very excited about today's even if it's tiny! I'm also on the hunt for a great primer.

GrumpyOldFucker · 06/12/2017 13:07

I'd also heard good things about this one and I'm keen to try it.

But I bought this calendar hoping for loads of makeup I wouldn't usually use - looks like I picked the wrong one.

caggie09 · 06/12/2017 13:47

I actually really liked the scalp treatment, used it this morning and gave my scalp a good scrub. Not all over just in certain areas i have problems! Didnt get the cooling effect though and im grit freeGrin

sake · 06/12/2017 13:56

I've just used the primer. It's lovely actually; sunk into my skin nicely without settling into my pores. I've put Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser and Hourglass powder on the top and they're sitting nicely. My skin doesn't feel heavy or gunky. Thumbs up.

CakeForBreakfast · 06/12/2017 17:58

This primer is excellent!!!

GrumpyOldFucker · 07/12/2017 06:19

Meh, disappointed in today's. not something I'll use. I'd really got the impression this one had more makeup in it?

Jaimx86 · 07/12/2017 06:43

It's be a while until I even try this - not sure there will be enough for a full application? Have used other products from this brand that are very good.

snowflakestar · 07/12/2017 06:49

I'm very disappointed with today's. I'm pale and don't have any interest in tanning whatsoever.

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 07/12/2017 07:32

Disappointed by today's- will give it away to colleague who fake tans!

RJnomore1 · 07/12/2017 08:04

I'll give this a go on my legs. It's shimmery which is good enough for me.

caggie09 · 07/12/2017 09:09

Another one disappointed with this, dont tan and never will. Dont know anyone else that tans so will shove it in my to sell pile!
Really need a mascara so waiting to find one!

DuncanDonut · 07/12/2017 10:40

Yup, not very interested in this. I’m hoping for a serum, mascara, and a pretty blusher. I have seen what’s in, and can’t remember anything!
