Duncan, it says for use from head to toe so I think it should be fine as a facial moisturiser. That's what I'm going to use it as, anyway.

snowflakestar · 04/12/2017 11:32

Plus it can also be used on children so I might try it on the dry patch that one of mine gets. I've just checked and descriptions online say that it can be used on the face.

snowflakestar · 04/12/2017 11:40

My hair doesn't look as good as normal today, so I won't be bothering with scalp exfoliating again!

Annabelle4 · 04/12/2017 12:07

Just incase you've missed this

www.lookfantastic.com/seasonal/christmas/advent-calendar/day-by-day.list

snowflakestar · 04/12/2017 12:19

Thanks for that Annabelle, I hadn't seen that page.

I really like the lipstick and would quite like one in a pinker colour in the future however I went to investigate them and they seem to be out of stock in every colour in most places - have they been discontinued or are they just popular I wonder?

BringMeTea · 04/12/2017 12:46

Happy with today’s.

snowflakestar · 04/12/2017 19:36

I've tried the cream and it's not like I expected it to be; I thought it would be rich and thick but it's lightweight and has sunk straight into my skin (so much so that there isn't a trace left so I think I'll apply more before bed).

Zippea · 04/12/2017 20:03

I opened number 4 today and both DDs were really unimpressed! I’ve had this cream before and really liked it

BewareOfDragons · 04/12/2017 20:38

I really liked today's cream: very light, not greasy and went right in. Yay.

BluebellGal · 04/12/2017 23:25

The cream isn’t cutting it for my dry hands I’m afraid- need my trusty L’Occitain

BluebellGal · 04/12/2017 23:31

I opened this calendar about six weeks ago. One of the products which I love (but you guys haven’t opened yet - no spoilers here) has run out after just 4 weeks of use Shock

I’ll be interested when you get to it to see what you think. I had decided this was a repeat purchase, but now I’m not sure.

Have you spotted anything yet that will be a repeat purchase? I think the lava lipstick is a definite for me - I love it. Perhaps the eyeliner too

snowflakestar · 04/12/2017 23:40

The cream isn't moisturising enough for my face - I put on a second layer and my face still felt dry.

EnidButton · 05/12/2017 03:32

MissFliss Off topic but where did you get your lovely earrings from please? The ones you have on in the eyeliner pic.

Sorry to butt in eveyone. I'm enjoying the thread even though I don't have the LF one. Wine

caggie09 · 05/12/2017 08:16

I do use Micellar water so this is a good day. Nothing to exciting, butvit will get used! Ive not found another one thats came close to the Garnier one yetSmile

RJnomore1 · 05/12/2017 08:29

Yes I'm quite happy with this too, haven't used this exact product before but it will definitely be used.

snowflakestar · 05/12/2017 08:41

I've used Lancome eau micellaire water in the morning for years, since before cleansing waters were a big thing (I get the giant pump bottles which last forever). Have just tried today's and I'll be sticking to the Lancome. It feels very drying on my skin and it is too highly scented for me (and I'm not sure about the smell either). I can still smell it on my face!

I used to try brand after brand in the search for something that would help my then problem skin. I finally found a regime that works for me and have stuck to the same products for years now, because they work for my skin, but I do feel a little bored every now and again. I used to quite enjoy researching products, and now I haven't got a clue about many of the latest products! So this is a good way of trying them - though I'll be very surprised if I like any enough to switch to them.

DuncanDonut · 05/12/2017 09:01

The last time I used miceller water it made my eyelids flaky and sore, so I’m a bit hesitant to try this out. I’ll hang on and see what you all think!

problembottom · 05/12/2017 09:55

Never used micellar water before so am looking forward to giving it a go. Really impressed so far.

BluebellGal · 05/12/2017 11:55

I like this miscellar water - useful when you’re feeling lazy. Not mad keen on the fragrances used by the Balanceme brand as a whole though - this one is better than it’s other products.

missfliss · 05/12/2017 12:43

I'm not keen on micellar waters for cleansing, I prefer a hot flannel and a balm. But, today's one does smell very nice so I'll pop it in my emergency work overnight washbag.

enid the earrings are Pilgrim constellation earrings called "Cassiopeia"

They are available still on QVC for a tenner

I cleanse with cleanser and toner at night and find the water is all I need for mornings. I tried hot flannels and balm - and the whole CH routine - but it didn't do anything for me so I went back to my trusty favourites.

I was fine waiting months (or so it seemed!) to open the first box but now I'm struggling to wait a day for the next one (though I am waiting!)!

NeonSun · 05/12/2017 14:17

Wow, the liberty one does look absolutely beautiful I must admit, but I couldn't justify the expenditure

EnidButton · 05/12/2017 15:14

MissF Thank you!

missfliss · 05/12/2017 16:11

Everyone's different snowflake I use a cheapish balm from M&S and didn't get on with eve lom / Emma hardie posh ones. I don't wear foundation usually or even tinted moisturiser just eye make up. I like liquid exfoliants.

I have tried micellar waters too there's that original one ( forgotten who makes it) and they felt refreshing at the time but did irritate my eyes.
