I've been meaning to learn how to do eyeliner for ages so this is great-haven't wanted to spend on something I suspect I will not be very good at... anyone got any application tips?

BringMeTea · 02/12/2017 11:04

Will give this away but looks good for eyeliner users. Smile

BewareOfDragons · 02/12/2017 11:09

I'll join. :) My first ever Look Fantastic beauty box!

Opened my first box yesterday and was delighted to get the lava red lipstick ... wore it to a Christmas party last night! :)

missfliss · 02/12/2017 11:24

Thankyou bluebell, snowflake and problem - I turned 40 last year and have been making much more effort with my skin using tips here, it’s really helped and I’m much more confident - I don’t even wear foundation anymore. Just powder and a little concealer.

paperdove my tip is to do just the outer third of each eye and to make little dots as ‘in’ to the lash line as possible and then to join them up. A neutral pale eyeshadow on top will cover any errors

MissFliss - that looks great on you. I look forward to seeing 25 products on you in Christmas Day! Blush

Zippea · 02/12/2017 12:33

I love the eyeliner but I’m so bad at applying it! Will definitely give it a go otherwise the my DDs will use it as a tattoo pen!

Annabelle4 · 02/12/2017 13:32

missfliss, you look fabulous. You inspired to me to go and get my eyebrows shaped and tinted an hour ago Blush
Are yours waxed or threaded?

Annabelle4 · 02/12/2017 13:35

I can't seem to get eyeliner on my top lid right, so I only wear it on the bottom Blush

I'll give it another go!

I get them periodically waxed annabelle but not too often, I don’t pluck above either in between.

I use benefit gimme brow ( the tinted wax) with an angled brush and then comb through with a spoolie.
I’m quite lucky with my brows in that their natural shape is quite defined.

And thankyou for the compliments- I’m not fishing but it is lovely to get them Blush

Todays product is just what i need. Been using a shampoo and conditioner thats made my scalp react and sting, will be using this next time i wash my hair.

InfiniteSheldon · 03/12/2017 07:21

Can I join? Had this calendar last year and loved it. Lipstick is gorgeous but not sure about yesterday's eyeliner i have hardly used last year's so may regjft that. Today's product is very exciting am going to use it today do you just use like shampoo? I still have a repair product with a dropper from last year I don't really understand how to use Grin

snowflakestar · 03/12/2017 07:32

Today's product sounds interesting - I've never used a scalp exfoliator before! Instructions say to massage the scalp in circular motions, thoroughly exfoliating it. You then leave it for a few extra minutes to detoxify the scalp. I washed my hair last night but I might do it again tonight just so I can try it!

Arsenicinthesugarbowl · 03/12/2017 08:18

I was feeling a bit Hmm about todays as it doesn’t seem like something that needs inventing. But I’ll suspend my uncertainty and give it a try. My eldest DD swiped yesterday’s eyeliner so all products will find their way to a good home.Smile

RJnomore1 · 03/12/2017 08:31

I'm intrigued by today's. I've just had my hair coloured so my scalp is a bit itchy and I'll give it a go.

Going to keep a running tally of product costs if that's ok. This is £28 for £190 ml so say £7 for 50ml.

Current value: £42

missfliss · 03/12/2017 08:41

I wonder what it actually does? Is it supposed to stimulate hair growth maybe? I’ll try it in the morning ..

What make is the scalp exfoliator please?

Loving your advent reports!

Jaimx86 · 03/12/2017 08:54

RJ One of the first things I did was calculate the value of the product too Grin

Have any of you got reasonably long hair? Mine is a few inches past shoulders, and when I've used scalp exfoliates before, I couldn't get the product to my scalp because my hair was in the way! Do you have any application tips?

Jaimx86 · 03/12/2017 08:55

MyName It is the Grow Gorgeous Scalp Detox. Not really a spoiler as the product and what it does is above.

BluebellGal · 03/12/2017 09:02

I’ve used the scalp exfoliater a few times now (I’m the one who opened AC straight away as o bought for products not AC). I’ve got a problem scalp and fine hair. I’ve found it difficult to get the product onto the scalp and have had to use a lot of product. If you can get it on the scalp, it feels good and tingles. I think this would be best used in Bath rather than morning shower as you will have the time to let the product do it’s thing

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 03/12/2017 09:40

Not really sure my scalp needs detoxifying but will give it a go 😂

RJnomore1 · 03/12/2017 09:42

I've got long (past bra strap) thick hair so it could be a challenge to get to my scalp. Will report back when I try.

WildImaginings · 03/12/2017 09:59

Looking forward to trying todays, not something I'd usually buy but I think it could be good.

Here's a photo of my wearing the lipstick from day one, I'd usually wear something more matte but I really like it! Please ignore the hoodie, I'm getting ready but it's bloody freezing in this house!

I don't think I'll try this one.
I used something similar ish a few years ago and it actually really aggravated my scalp.
Looking forward to everything else to come though Smile
