Does anyone fancy a thread to discuss the products as we open the drawers? Quite a few people seem to have it this year from what I've seen on here.

Ive never tried this brand. I got peacemaker too, I’ve put it on & I like it. It suits my colouring.

Piccolino2 · 03/12/2017 13:39

I got peacemaker today - sadly not a good shade for me so will pass it on. I did use the superfoliant this morning though and really pleased with that. Looking forward to see if there’s any build up of results.

UpEarly · 03/12/2017 14:17

I love the scent of this lippy! All caramelly. It’s lovely isn’t it - moisturising but with great colour. I am fully calendared today. By the time we get to Christmas Eve, my morning routine is going to take ages Grin

humanfemale · 03/12/2017 14:23

This thread is missing pictures! Pictures will make it easier for me to live vicariously. TIA.

Dozyoldtwonk · 03/12/2017 20:31

UpEarly I came on to say the same - such a gorgeous scent which is quite unusual for a non balm lip product IME. I had Peacemaker too; although I have lots of similar shades mainly MAC I will definitely use this.

BluebellGal · 03/12/2017 21:22

My hair has been thick and bouncy all day after the Aveda tonic

I really like the lipstick but it doesn’t last long because it’s so creamy and moisturiserisibg. I will wear it to work tomorrow.

My skin is feeling and looking great after two days of superfoliant use. I’m impressed so far.

Next I’m hoping for hand cream (I realise I’ll probably be alone in this!) because my hands are so dry and cracked is this weather. The hand creams I have aren’t cutting it. I wear gloves but I guess the cold is getting through them. My nails are also dry and flaking. I’m cycling everyday now so I think that might explain it. Anyway I could do with some fancy hand cream!

caggie09 · 04/12/2017 08:20

Ohh well, its not hand cream, its nail and cuticle cream!

Ive never used anything like this before, and its not something i would rush out to buy. Popped some on this morning, its okay i guess. Feel likes its something that will end up in the back of a drawer because ill forget to put it on. Its £12 full priceSmile

BluebellGal · 04/12/2017 08:24

I’m really pleased with the cuticle cream and hoping it will sort my nails out. Not hand cream but I’m happy

Also intrigued by the pedicure description on the card (I realise I’m a markerters dream Blush)

Pippin8 · 04/12/2017 08:36

I’m a bit meh about todays offering. I would never buy this kind of thing. However, I will put it in my handbag & make an effort to use it at work everyday.

HLBug · 04/12/2017 08:55

A picture of today’s offering especially for @humanfemale Smile I’m happy with this and will make the effort to use it as my nails are absolutely shocking at the moment. They were soooo beautiful during pregnancy, but now DD is here they are utter shite. Hmph. So hopefully this will help!

Today's offering was ok, I've put it on but can't get hugely excited about it. But I'm another one who could definitely do with taking more care of my nails so as long as I remember to use it, it's all good! It has made my nails quite shiny I think which is nice.

Did anyone else have last year's too? I'm realising just how much I have left from it Blush Used the shampoo, body lotion and face wash from last year's all this morning! And the blusher but that will take me ages to get through. Oh, and the weird perfume that I didn't like at first but has now grown on me Grin so you do get your money's worth if you're like me and take years to use it all!

cedoren · 04/12/2017 11:59

I think today's is really boring. It was in there last year and I've only just given last year's away unopened!! The be honest, I buy the calendar largely for the last few days....

cedoran What happens in the last few days? Does is get even better? I’m pleased with my haul so far

jellyshoeswithdiamonds · 04/12/2017 13:06

I'm in high heaven with my four products so far. Walked the dog this morning wearing my Peacemaker lipstick.

Admittedly the whole thing is lost on me ... I have no clue who these brands are, I'm not into beauty products in the slightest but every day I hold my breath while I open the drawer to see what awaits for me.

Had this for my birthday back in early November from hubby ... I think it was just a challenge for him to see if he coukd bag one before they sold out. I don't mind, just looking at the pretty box sitting on the table is enough to make me smile.

A present every day, my dd asks me what I got, she's 18 so helps me with the brands, she's into her products. Asks to share Smile

I'm not at home for the next week and a half so I've brought my Liberty pretty box with me, I saved the cardboard packaging especially.

I'm loving mine just a tad Blush

cedoren · 04/12/2017 13:26

The higher value items tend to come in the last few days

chloechloe · 04/12/2017 13:31

I'm not crazy about today's offering. I do think using a cuticle oil makes a huge difference, but I'm just too lazy to do it. On the odd occasion I put some on before bed, i really notice the difference in how my hands look. Having dry raggedy cuticles isn't a good look and a bit of oil on them makes a world of difference.

This is the first year I've had the Liberty calendar but I think it's really off to repeat products from last year (with the exception of a Diptyque candle - I have hopes for one this year as I've never had one before).

cedoren · 04/12/2017 13:38

I agree, they could mix it all up a bit!

OP posts:
Softkitty2 · 04/12/2017 14:09

I love day 3! The hourglass lipstick is beautiful. That colour is something I would pick out myself. 😍😍

GaryBarlowsTaxReturn · 04/12/2017 14:29

@cedoren I had the calendar last year but didn't have the cuticle cream. I wonder what product I had instead!

Loving the hourglass lip crayon. I have their face powder & love it so it's nice to try another product.

onemouseplace · 04/12/2017 14:38

I had last year's as well, and didn't get the cuticle oil. I'm pleased with it actually - these are the sort of things I like trying from boxes, something that I would never really think to buy myself, but is a bit treaty and could make my hands look nicer!

satonthesofa · 04/12/2017 17:03

I had last year’s too. DH bought for me as I was so pleased with last years. I think he’d be cross if he realised how much duplication there is!
Margaret Dabbs is the same as last year just in different colour box (yellow) I have checked Smile as I didn’t use it last year either!! Emu oil ingredient put me off!

Stitchosaurus · 04/12/2017 18:34

I didn't have the cuticle oil last year either, how strange! I haven't see any duplication yet.

LavenderHills · 04/12/2017 19:11

I'm quite enjoying the cuticle oil! The tea tree oil has a lovely scent.

Dozyoldtwonk · 04/12/2017 19:57

Happy with the cuticle serum but it’s a little on the creamy side; think I’d prefer an oil - Jessica do a great one. Still, I think I’ll use it but not twice daily!

BringMeTea · 04/12/2017 21:02

I didn’t have the cuticle oil last year either!
