Does anyone fancy a thread to discuss the products as we open the drawers? Quite a few people seem to have it this year from what I've seen on here.

I keep sniffing around my calendar, im dying to get them draws open. Such a big kidGrin

peanutbutter310 · 28/11/2017 20:25

Count me in, can't wait until Thursday!

Tonytonymacaroni · 28/11/2017 20:28

Count me in too! Roll on Friday 1st...

HLBug · 28/11/2017 20:28

Ohh count me in Smile I took mine out of the packing box yesterday and it's now sitting out in the living room taunting me! Looking forward to Day 1 (and also hoping it's something different to hand cream this year)

GaryBarlowsTaxReturn · 28/11/2017 20:29

Yes me too! This is my second year having one. Last years was brilliant. Such good value for money.

peanutbutter310 · 28/11/2017 21:38

There I was looking forward to Thursday, and turns out I've got an extra day to wait. Rubbish!

chloechloe · 28/11/2017 22:18

I accidentally opened day 1 already Blush Am I allowed to say if it is or isn't a hand cream!?!? Don't worry, I won't do a spoiler! It is something I have already though to give you all a hint Grin

BluebellGal · 29/11/2017 08:25

Are we all going to get the products in the same order? If I get something different on day 1 to Chloé, won’t it spoil the experience for others if I say what it is?

cedoren · 29/11/2017 09:01

I think last year it followed the same days, except a couple of days people got completely different items that weren't in the others' at all, if that makes sense!

No hints Chloe. Unless you can confirm it's isn't hand cream Grin

Count me in. It’s still in its delivery box to avoid temptation. I just hope that’s what the parcel is!!

chloechloe · 29/11/2017 18:06

I guess the items will be in the same order. The overall contents should be the same seeing as they were listed on the website.

Stitchosaurus · 29/11/2017 20:41

I'm in! I have peeked in a few drawers because I have no control, but luckily I've forgotten everything already! Roll on Friday

cedoren · 30/11/2017 11:22

Advent eve!!

OP posts:
LavenderHills · 30/11/2017 18:37

I've managed to wait more than a month to open my calendar, but it's never been more difficult than tonight, with only hours to go! Hmm

Clickncollect · 30/11/2017 19:33

Roll on tomorrow - yippee! Liberty £170 advent calendar for mummy and Peppa Pig £1 for DS, nothing for Daddy!

LavenderHills · 30/11/2017 19:46

I have just completed extensive negotiations with DP, who bought me the calendar and has been annoyingly strict about it not being peeked at!

I have now been permitted to open the package it arrived in and set the actual calendar on our dressing table, ready for my first treat tomorrow morning. Am ludicrously excited Grin

Pomegranatepompom · 01/12/2017 07:27

Pleased with Day 1 !

HLBug · 01/12/2017 07:57

Ditto! And it’s not hand cream!!

caggie09 · 01/12/2017 08:08

I dont usually use products like that, but im willing to give it a tryGrin

Stitchosaurus · 01/12/2017 09:19

Are we allowed to say what it is on the actual day? Not sure how cryptic I have to be when discussing it! Look away now if you haven't opened drawer 1.......

I have really thick hair so haven't used a volumising spray, not sure if I need it, but will give it a go and see what happens! Definitely glad it's not hand cream!

Tonytonymacaroni · 01/12/2017 09:20

I’m happy too- I have enough hand creams (but I’m sure there will be one later on in the month)
My almost 2 year old DD was confused as to why I wouldn’t let her open all the boxes in one go, though. Might have to open it on my own from now on, to avoid a battle every morning

onemouseplace · 01/12/2017 10:04

Yes, I'm pleased as well - I used to use this and had actually been thinking about trying it again, so this is perfect!

I think once it is the actual day we are allowed to discuss the product, just don't look at the thread on that day until you've opened! Otherwise it gets a bit ridiculous.

cedoren · 01/12/2017 10:56

I'm reasonably pleased as it's a good way to try a hair product and I've made a lot of mistake purchases in the past!!

OP posts:
bengalcat · 01/12/2017 10:59

Ooo day 1 sounds fab , I've a Molton Brown one maybe I should get a Liberty one too ( can share with the teen )

bengalcat · 01/12/2017 11:02

Aargh sold out , never mind will just have to wait until 2018
