Does anyone fancy a thread to discuss the products as we open the drawers? Quite a few people seem to have it this year from what I've seen on here.

I really like the print - I'm pleased, was considering buying one.

Alwayslasttoarrive · 11/12/2017 07:38

I’m quite a fan of Liberty prints, so happy enough with this . At least it will keep all those samples I’ve go so far from rolling around in my drawer...... value I think £18. (Same bag, different print on the Liberty website atm).

BluebellGal · 11/12/2017 08:16

I like it and I’m pleased- it’s pretty. However the zip isn’t the greatest quality and I wouldn’t want to pay £18 for it.

Buxbaum · 11/12/2017 09:19

Strawberry Thief is one of Liberty’s most famous William Morris prints. I’d have been disappointed if there hadn’t been any nod to that heritage and I love the make up bag.

Stitchosaurus · 11/12/2017 09:56

It's a beautiful print...but the zip is a bit rubbish and I have loads of make up bags already! However, I will probably swap one of my old ones for this one because it is so pretty.

LavenderHills · 11/12/2017 10:29

I love the bag! The print is so pretty, and I'll always use another makeup bag. Thumbs up from me today Smile

MathsFiend · 11/12/2017 11:49

Shitiest thing so far. Who needs another make up bag? I already have about 50 free with Clinique etc.

Pippin8 · 11/12/2017 11:55

I actually like todays as I don’t have a nice make up bag for my handbag. I usually just chuck a lippy & some paracetamol in the zip part.

onemouseplace · 11/12/2017 13:17

I quite like the make up bag - but do agree that the zip is pretty poor quality.

Housewife2010 · 11/12/2017 14:39

I think it's really pretty but i would have preferred it to be oilcloth like the ones in their GWPs. This one will get tatty looking carried around in a handbag after a while.

cedoren · 11/12/2017 20:35

Love this, and it's a million miles away from a free Clinique one. Brilliant nod to Liberty heritage and makes the calendar unique

Ive need a new blusher for ages now, and ive never tried NARS before so this is nice! Im awaiting a brush out of another calendar before i can start using it. I did open day 13 by mistake and it is a fab productGrin

Stitchosaurus · 12/12/2017 09:05

Love today's! It was a nars bronzer last year (Laguna) so it's nice to get a blush this time. Have whacked it straight on...it's quite shiny which I like. My other blushers don't have that sheen to them so it's good to have something different. Anyone else struggle to get an equal amount of blush on each cheek though? Grin have to stop myself from applying more to balance it up or I'd end up looking like a clown!

caggie I want to look ahead now!

Pomegranatepompom · 12/12/2017 09:09

It's a good product but not the right shade for me - a potential swap from me.

Pippin8 · 12/12/2017 09:15

Pleased today, I’ve already got NARS super orgasm, which has a real golden shimmer to it.

This looks a bit darker & more matte. Can’t wait to try it later with the eye stick & the hourglass lip crayon.

Alwayslasttoarrive · 12/12/2017 10:08

Like the product, beautifully packaged. Festive lunch today, so will use this together with the eye stilo thingy and lippy - fingers crossed that a swan emerges .........

cedoren · 12/12/2017 10:50

Love this!! Getting exciting now

OP posts:
Alwayslasttoarrive · 12/12/2017 11:11

I’m also excited for the remainder of this calendar, especially as caggie has indicated that we have a fab product tomorrow...... I can see how this draws you in. Despite my earlier misgivings I can see myself getting this again next Christmas........

MotherofTerriers · 12/12/2017 11:13

That's more like it. Nice blusher
No acknowledgment of my complaint email from customer services so I sent it again today.

HLBug · 12/12/2017 12:26

Very happy with the last few days Smile

LavenderHills · 12/12/2017 12:31

I really like the blush, but my goodness, a little goes a long way! I put too much on this morning and had to blend furiously Blush

chloechloe · 12/12/2017 13:28

I'm happy with today. Even though I already have this in my makeup bag! The one I have is probably about 5 years old and still going strong. lavender it's always a shock when you get a nicely pigmented blush and are too heavy handed! I tend to tap the brush to get rid of any excess for fear I'll look like Aunt Sally.

VanessaBet · 12/12/2017 13:30

I'm a bit scared of blusher and never use it but I know this is one that gets raved about so I'll give it a try. Any tips?

I like the makeup bag, or would, except I've noticed that on one side of mine the fabric is upside down. Not exactly a quality finish! And it's made of two seperate pieces, so there's no excuse really!

BluebellGal · 12/12/2017 13:32

I’m happy with the Nars blush

BluebellGal · 12/12/2017 13:33

I note no one has mentioned the shade yet Blush
