Just popping in to say that wait paid off. A 24% off email pinged to me this morning from Links of London. I got the bracelet for £171 which is the amount of money and amazon vouchers I had. So absolutely perfect!

Longislandicetee · 11/11/2017 07:51

Fab QueenC!

I am tempted AmberGrin

shopafrolic · 11/11/2017 08:22

Oh that's awesome QueenC :)

I keep returning to these Marks & Spencer's red boots. Normally at this time of the year, I would live in my shoe boots from Russell and Bromley but they have 3 inch heels and so i am not well enough to wear them yet sob. I am looking for flat, Chelsea boot but given my overall frame and what Dry said last month, I think i need "dainty" boots. Can't seem to find any as i want to be able to wear them with dresses. In the meanwhile, i have been enjoying wearing my Lowlands but it isn't always appropriate to wear knee high boots.

shopafrolic · 11/11/2017 09:05

I've seen those in store Blingy - thought they looked quite clumpy (is that a word?!)

libertyonhertravels · 11/11/2017 09:07

I loved that sweater dress shop - good to hear it's still going strong.

Great xmas day outfit Amber.

Blingy I am laughing at the idea that you would substitute your R&B shoe boots with red boots Grin. Could you manage a [[http://www.russellandbromley.co.uk/ankle-boots/fab-dry/invt/372572 2 inch heel]]?

Longislandicetee · 11/11/2017 09:09

Ah yes. That's a word. Clumpy doesn't suit me. That's a shame. I will check it out when i am town later anyway. It's so frustrating as i know what i want but i just can't find it anywhere!

Longislandicetee · 11/11/2017 09:10

That link doesn't work Lib?

Longislandicetee · 11/11/2017 09:12

Is this it? Isn't it too pointy for me? I reckon almond or round toe best for me?

libertyonhertravels · 11/11/2017 09:19

Yes, that's the one - it is a round toe!

Longislandicetee · 11/11/2017 09:20

Ooh but you have made me look at these ankle boots.

Oh and we may have a potential winner! Or these?

Oh and i saw these Frankie dry boots last week.

Okay, so i had been into R&B but hadn't actually looked on their website!Blush

FedupNagging · 11/11/2017 09:59

Dream I love those silver loafers (& your floor tiles). What did you wear with the sparkly trousers and how flattering are they?

The M&S advent calendar is on order. I've bought 2 dressing gowns as couldn't find anything else I liked that much. I very nearly ordered the ankle boots Blingy returned but decided they didn't look right - clumpy was the word I had in my head too!

Love the 'zip-code' ankle boots, gorgeous burgundy colour.

Woo hoo Queen so pleased you've managed to get the bracelet you really wanted.

I picked up a red batwing jumper last weekend from a local indie shop - it's slightly oversized and supersoft - don't know the make and can't find a photo to link but very similar to this from Free People

FedupNagging · 11/11/2017 10:02

This acne knit is on my sidebar - it's sooo gorgeous - Marsha this colour suits you, do you do polo necks?

GV heels to go with

MarshaBrady0 · 11/11/2017 10:31

I love those colours Fedup so good together. Usually I avoid roll necks, make me itchy, but those GVs with it are lovely

Brilliant QueenC

Dreamqueen · 11/11/2017 11:40

Great about the discount on the bracelet QueenC

Fedup the sparkly trousers are a winner. The material is stretchy but firm enough to keep all my wobbly bits under control. DIL said the y looked great from the real. I wore a black slightly loose fitted tunic top with them. I think they will go with lots of things. I also ordered a similar pair in black which are comfy and flattering.

Amber you'll look great in that Xmas outfit. I'd just look like a fat Mrs Claus.

Blingy you've tempted me with the link to the Chilton boot. It looks like a perfect heel height.

shopafrolic · 11/11/2017 12:11

Why is the winner link (Chilton I think) showing an empty page? And if I search by Chilton I can't see it either?

OP posts:
Longislandicetee · 11/11/2017 14:24

Shop, I tested the link so i know it worked. Not to freak you out....but.....

Between the time i linked and 2.5 hours later when you looked at it, they must have sold out.Shock Hello lurkers and DreamGrin

So the winner wasn't the winner after all! I actually ordered the Zip code ankle boots and the the Frankie Dry ankle boots to pick up next weekend.

Can i have my seasonal M&S rant? Why oh why can I never ever find anything in there that's my size. Angry I finally managed to get some underwear but even that was traumatic!

shopafrolic · 11/11/2017 15:21

Wow. Kudos to the lurkers then. We should get paid on this thread I swear!
