sorry obv meant everyone!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/11/2017 14:58

Lol justa that's amazing! Everyone I might have to buy the dress after your post, especially as I get a discount at asos. Dammit! Grin

Ugh, feel better shop and minishop. It is so cold today as well.

Lib so exciting, the start of the final adventure! When do you get reunited with your shipping container? Not for a while I guess?

Dream I can't imagine what the drop waist one would look like on, but I love both the red ones and am very Envy of having a tropical wedding to go to.

Everyonelovessparkles · 13/11/2017 15:53

Ooo thanks justa, I wonder why they don’t have that on their website? Now I have the dilemma of keeping the dress or Returning and just ordering the jumper???

It is nice blair. I ordered a 12 and it is slightly loose as I didn’t want it clingy. It comes to just above my knees.

justasecond · 13/11/2017 16:00

I prefer the monsoon red dress dream although both are lovely. The black midi is gorgeous although you would have to try it and see where the waist sits.
Lib how exciting, do you have a house already or staying with family?
everyone I am drawn to the jumper too. its really not very me but being stuck at home and having a mid life crisis I am tempted to order it too. I should break out of my comfort zone a bit, no?

FedupNagging · 13/11/2017 16:13

Woo hoo, you're finally there Lib - and now begins the next exciting adventure.

Well done Justa on finding the jumper - it's really very lovely so maybe keep both Everyone?!

I really love the navy lace dress Dream but as Shop says, it may be difficult to wear. Second choice is the Monsoon.

Serenite have you decided on which dress you're wearing to the xmas wedding? Can't remember which shoes you got in the end.

Get well soon Shop and MiniShop

Justa I hope you get your health issues sorted soon - its all a bit grim for you at the moment.

Having had a bit of a bad day I'm about to cheer myself up by looking at and very possibly purchasing some nice clothes. Will link when ordered just in case.......

I have a love for dropped waist dresses after getting this dress last year (my mum chose it for me, I'd have never picked it out) so I love the one Dream linked and am tempted.... would be lovely layered up a lace body - but for a wedding maybe the red cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0694/2793/products/Whyred-Ranae-Dress-Front-Detail_grande.jpg?v=1462159763
The drop waist is so stylish on and is never have chosen it, it's my favourite dress.
I love the rainbow dress/jumper but would suit me - I can imagine it being so striking on someone with the right attitude and colouring 😍
Fedup I'm looking forward to seeing your shopping - what's happened today? Hope you are home and cosy and putting it behind you, retail therapy works too!!! I have chosen another dress for our wedding; it's absolutely lovely - and taking me out of my comfort zone which isn't a bad thing. I kept the green massimo dutti one too as I love it but it's very me - so shaking it up a bit is a good idea (I hope)

MarshaBrady0 · 13/11/2017 19:10

I love a dropped waist too Serenite

Dream I really like the navy one, and out of the two I prefer the Oasis

Everyone love the rainbow dress, great you're keeping it

Blair you should order it

Justa love the jumper version too, definitely get it

Shop hope you and ds feel better soon Thanks

Fedup hope you're ok, definitely do some linking great to see what you get

Everyonelovessparkles · 14/11/2017 09:27

Just a quick one to tell blingy that there are some nude Valentino love latch pumps on the outnet did they have a size 3. Not sure if you already have this colour though?

Longislandicetee · 14/11/2017 14:58

Thanks Everyone, I have the Love latch in the black, but at the moment, unless they’re flats or low blocked heels, then i can’t wear them. Sob.

Lib, v glad to hear you have arrived safely in NZ. Sob. It’s very late on Tuesday night here. I think you’re 4/5 hours ahead of me.

Dream, i love a dropped waist but they don’t love me back and i strongly suspect that the beautiful navy dress won’t love you back either. If you have any kind of curves/hour glass etc, dropped waist are a total no no. I liked your other 2 links.

I wore my beautiful Chloe tapered trousers today with pink striped Zara shirt (many years old) and a beige Principles jacket (many many years, about 15 years old!) today. The Chloe were recommended by Santa a long time ago and are a great fit. Only problem is i am finally shifting the weight off my arse (maybe it’s my imaginationHmm) so i am worried that it won’t fit as well. —wishful thinking—

Everyonelovessparkles · 14/11/2017 15:59

That’s a shame blingy, I thought it was just low heels you needed didn’t realise you can’t do kitten / low stilettos either. What a nuisance for you. Outfit sounded great. You are good at keeping older pieces. I regularly have clear outs as I run out of space for new stuff!!

Chilly here today and going dark already Shock. Wore my navy and white striped Karen Millen dress.

Got my 20% m&s codes today. Event is 16-20 nov for those who have seen anything / want to stock up on beauty stuff.

Serenite · 14/11/2017 17:05

Hi Everyone-is the discount in m&sjust on beauty?

Everyonelovessparkles · 14/11/2017 17:38

serenite no it’s everything apart from food. They just have some good beauty stuff!

MarshaBradyo · 14/11/2017 18:41

There's some really nice stuff in the back of the Matches newspaper I got. Loved the Haider Ackerman polka dot shirt in blue, but my goodness it looks bad on their site. Also the pink Vanessa Bruno suit that I can't see on their site. And a blush Staud dress which is not in stock yet. So no links!

MarshaBradyo · 14/11/2017 18:49

Lib how’s the jet lag?

Shop how are you both feeling?

Dreamqueen · 14/11/2017 18:55

Everyone where did you get the code from please?

Everyonelovessparkles · 14/11/2017 19:28

I got some vouchers through the post. I’ve got loads of codes but it says each they can only be used 3x online. If anyone wants anything and doesn’t get any vouchers or an email, send me a PM and I will send you a code.

Dreamqueen · 14/11/2017 20:06

Thanks Everyone I'll keep an eye out in the post, they've sent them to me before.

The navy dress is stunning on (according to my DIL) I don't have much of a waist and it seems to skim nicely over my lumps and bumps. Now on the lookout for either silver or nude sandals/court shoes. The Oaasis red dress is also good on but keeping an open mind on that while waiting for the monsoon one to arrive. Thank you to everyone who commented and advised on the outfits.

I wore the sparkly trousers out to lunch today with an oversized grey polo merino jumper and these black boots. I really like them.

Serenite · 14/11/2017 20:28

Dream I can just imagine that navy dress being stunning but definitely wait to see what you feel about the other ones compared to it. I am tempted but really don't need another dress (but when did that ever stop us)
Fedup did you have a better day, did you do any shopping?
Everyone thank you for responding about m&s - I usually get an email but nothing yet. I do have things I need to buy so I will bolo for them.

Justa did you order the rainbow jumper, it's so striking, as is the dress.
Blingy your outfit sounds lovely and I can imagine the choir trousers look fantastic on you.
Marsha I'm going to google those brands you mentioned in your post, they are not Ines I'm familiar with and I love finding out about different designers. Did you order anything?
Lib I'm glad to hear you've arrived in nz, very exciting.
Shop and mini shop are you feeling better, hope so.

DryWhiteagainW · 14/11/2017 22:00

I'm very tempted by this party skirt 30% off until midnight.....if it's nice, it could be a classic. What do you think ? love the shoes too

Justa I'm so tempted by that strip jumper. I think Warehouse knitwear is good quality and always washes well.

MarshaBradyo · 14/11/2017 22:25

Go for it Dry

MarshaBradyo · 14/11/2017 22:27

Serenite not yet, find it hard to buy full price these days when a voucher or sale comes early

Would love to get something beautiful in that blush colour for Christmas

justasecond · 14/11/2017 22:28

You should go for that skirt dry looks v versatile. I ordered the stripe jumper should be here tomorrow will report back. This is quite nice too but much more subdued than the warehouse one pure collection stripe cashmere

Serenite · 15/11/2017 01:02

That skirt is gorgeous Dry, I'd snap it up. Like justa says, it's a really versatile piece, glamorous but you could style it casual too. I'm pretty sure there's a 40% off code floating around for full price gap, it might be worth googling it.
Marsha I've not had a chance to look at those names yet but I will - blush is such a lovely colour.
Justa that sweater is lovely, almost metallic stripes, really unusual and that would be a versatile piece too - look forward to hearing about it.

FedupNagging · 15/11/2017 07:46

I've not been sent an M&S discount code - bit miffed as I'm picking up my order tomorrow which I bought without a discount.

This is what I have (hopefully) arriving today:

Warehouse blouse
Mint Velvet top
Whistles sweatshirt
&OS jumper
Kaftan dress

I wished I had had a proper look at footwear too as think I could do with another pair of ankle boots - maybe block heel/animal print. I am also coveting another pair of flatform shoes but wondering if they've nearly had their day?

Dry thats a perfect party skirt for you.

serenite, love the denim dress.

Justa did you purchase the stripey jumper in the end? I hadn't realised that you were not working at the moment - try to keep positive and keep away from daytime tv - that is the slippery slope!!
