Hope you're having a lovely time Bernice. I get my pre-loved bags from a variety of places. EBay if I trust the seller - 100% feedback with long standing rep. Secret Sales (but that's more expensive so if i really want the bag) and Whispers Dress Agency who are an online dress agency based in York and are really good. I am quite specific in what i am looking for. None of them are current designs so less likely to be fake and they are usually bags I have loved for years, usually a decade but didn't have the disposable income spent it on booze when they were issued.

My DD burst my illusions of trendiness today. I was wearing my Adidas superstars with a midi denim skirt. Convo as follows:

DD: those shoes do not suit you mummy.
Me: really?
DD: they look better on teenagers with long hair. You are not a teenager, actually you are a long way past being a teenager.
Me: well I like them...
DD: just put them away mummy. I will wear them when I am a teenager and you will see then what I mean.

i really can't see you in that dress blingy it just doesn't look the right proportions for you and maybe a little too fussy with all the cut outs. I would like it and wear it myself without the cutouts, i don't do missing bits of clothing!

oh yes, the shape is definitely the kind i like blingy i'm hoping to be able to make my own by the end of the year, MIL has kindly gifted me a sewing machine and after the holiday i'm going to be doing some dressmaking courses local to me so by the end of the year i'll hopefully have some idea what i'm doing
