The way the collar joins bugs me but I really like this silk blouse by er Blouse

More relaxed Marant Etoile jumper, but would have to be worn like that to stop it looking too meh. It needs the 70s styling and some luxe boots. Having said that I only like it from the side. Too round

Hey Shop well done on the Rockins when does it arrive?

MarshaBradyo · 27/11/2017 11:22

That sounds impossible Lib, what do people do if they are not in the tiny catchment?

MarshaBradyo · 27/11/2017 11:23

I will just answer my own silly question, I guess there are the other schools. Which isn't much help

shopafrolic · 27/11/2017 13:23

Not sure about the drop shoulder seam on that jumper Marsha and agree about the collar on the blouse. Buy the boots. Buy the boots.
Not sure when the Rockins will get here. It hasn't been shipped yet.
I hope I love it IRL.....

I've basically been lusting after everything that Zoe Ball wears on It Takes Two. Lots of Rockins, Rag & Bone, Rixo and Cocoa Cashmere.

OP posts:
MarshaBradyo · 27/11/2017 13:45

That sounds brilliant. Just googled Rixo as hadn't heard of it, love the pussy bow star print silk blouse in particular. Let me know if you want a link Grin

Boots, hmm no idea what my size is anymore. Especially in IT sizing

kittyhello · 27/11/2017 13:59

Great boots Marsha I see way you mean about the blouse, it looks as if the model is wearing a mock shirt underneath the blouse.

Lib what a PITA, I'm sure a great house is out there with your name on it.

Blair forgot to comment on your lovely purchases, love the silk blouse, very luxe.

shopafrolic · 27/11/2017 14:35

I know the one you mean Marsha No link required

Hope everyone had good weekends; we had visitors and then 12 for Sunday lunch eaten my body weight in food so having a very quiet evening.

I'm loving everyone's purchases

Blair fab haul and the silk shirt is a really lovely with great sleeve detail.

Yet another fab bag to add to your collection Blingy

Stokey I love my stans too and it will take a lot for me to stop wearing them.

Marsha you have to buy those Aquazurra boots - they are so you. The collar on the shirt does look at bit strange but you'd need to try on to see for sure.

Shop pleased you got the scarf; I've been loving Zoe Ball's style too - she looks great in those dresses she's been wearing and am pretty sure her sparkly stripe skirt is one from Zara.

Lib it must be very frustrating for you but keep going - you'll find the right place eventually.

AmberNectarine · 27/11/2017 20:50

I haven't bought much in the BF sales, just this Anine Bing cami and this Anglomania dress.

The big news is that I have Strictly tickets again, for this weekend!

FedupNagging · 27/11/2017 21:52

Am so Envy that you've got Strictly tickets AGAIN Amber! Great cami & dress.

I forgot to say what I kept from my recent order:
Whistles sweatshirt
French connection kaftan dress

The &OS sparkly jumper was really lovely but the crew neck sat too high on my neck so didn't look right. Justa I think you got the burgundy? Did you keep?

Wasn't keen on the Warehouse blouse so that went back too.

No BF clothes purchases for me but dh did nab a good deal on a super dooper tv and assorted gizmo's to go with it. I'm about to do a last minute skincare order before the discount code ends at midnight.

justasecond · 27/11/2017 22:49

Hi all
I forced suggested to DH to buy my birthday present with a black friday discount. these shoes I have worn the stone coloured ones so much so I know I will wear them a lot.
fed up thats good to know re the OS jumper. I haven't ordered it but really like it.

I took the dc to see Annie recently. It was excellent. They want to see Matilda next time but will have to wait a bit as its so £££ esp the seats where you can actually see stuff!

Blair great shopping, the silk shirt looks gorgeous.
I got a Matches code too but don't think there's anything I want

Lib hope you find the right place soon.

My exchanged Stories green jumper finally arrived www.stories.com/gb/Ready-to-wear/Knitwear/Turtlenecks/Turtleneck_Dress/154166817-0569450001.2 I'm not sure the colour is 100% right for me as its on the cool side but I love it. nothing that a bright lipstick can't fix! has been worn on repeat with the exchanged Zara velvet skinny jeans. I had to go up to a size 42 when I am usually a 36/38. Crazy sizing but they are amazing so comfortable and flattering.

libertyonhertravels · 27/11/2017 23:37

You can apply for out of zone places Marsha. Also there are lots of private schools and they are not as ££ as UK for private but as the state schools are so good it would be great if we can get one. We saw a place today, in zone for our preferred school at a good price. It ticks all the boxes in terms of size, storage etc but is very tired in terms of decor with a horrible kitchen. DH is adamant it's the best option and we are applying for it but I am in a sulk because I want something nicer. I need to get over it, it's only a rental.

libertyonhertravels · 28/11/2017 02:38

justa you know it's right when you are wearing on repeat!

Fedup I really like that cactus sweater, great buy.

Amber how did you pull off Strictly tickets two years in a row Shock. I love that cami.

Just left hairdresser here, had Olaplex treatment with the colour and feeling very 'swish, swish'. Have bought the follow up treatment to use weekly at home so will be interesting to see if it tames the frizz.

First NZ clothing purchase made - some Nike running shorts Grin.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 28/11/2017 13:02

hello all!

sorry i've been MIA again, ive been recovering from my dental surgery and then this weekend gone, i was up north seeing Ds and other family members so no time to get on MN.

I'm on the hunt for velvet flippy skirts and possibly something sequinny for xmas day. I'm not 100% set on a sequin skirt but they keep catching my eye so its a strong possibility!

I've decided to keep growing my hair long as i like the options it gives me so i just need to sort out getting it trimmed so the bottom looks nice and then getting it dyed again so its all swishy and shiny. I have though found my first silver hair at the grand old age of 34. It's just the one and it is very sparkly rather than a dull grey so it can stay as when i dye my hair it will get covered up anyway Grin

Karcheer · 28/11/2017 20:51

amber I really love that Cami, I was thinking of getting another cami as I wear my cream silk one a lot. I think I'll keep me eye out for another, wish I had not ignored all the deals now!

MarshaBradyo · 29/11/2017 12:55

Liberty has let me down on the annual bauble shop. They seem to be tackier Confused. Now on the hunt for a new place to go.

shopafrolic · 29/11/2017 15:18

Sorry Marsha but that kind of makes me feel better. I was feeling sad that my annual Christmas pilgrimage to Liberty won't happen this year. But if the baubles are off........
I used to do Harrods - they have an immense Christmas shop.

OP posts:
MarshaBradyo · 29/11/2017 17:01

Will do. Good call on Harrods. Who knows what happened to Liberty, changing their buying methods Hmm

Karcheer · 29/11/2017 17:36

I doubt illl get to the big stores either this winter, I seem to be going into london less and less. I used to love both stores Christmas shops. I must admit I got some lovely baubles from Homesense this year Blush and some Disney ones from Primark

MarshaBradyo · 30/11/2017 11:33

Snowing here! I need a new hat - don’t think I can do the usual beanie Pom Pom
Find hate tricky, maybe more a beret type thing

MarshaBradyo · 30/11/2017 11:33

We hats not hate!

MarshaBradyo · 30/11/2017 11:34

No we Grin

cardoon · 30/11/2017 14:09

Hope you don't mind me picking your brains but do any of you have a J Crew code that works in UK?

MarshaBradyo · 30/11/2017 16:33

Fedup love the jumpers and dress, the dress is very summery! Is it for summer or are you going away?

Amber love the red dress and cami

Cardoon I don't but hopefully someone will turn up have one
