Lib I hate thinking of Christmas present ideas, as we don't spend loads in my family (even DH and I just spend £100 on each other) and tbh if I want something that's £40 I will just buy it myself... all I'm thinking about is my sales wishlist!! I do give DH a list though as otherwise he would have no clue and I may as well get things I want. (as does he) And I do enjoy buying for other people much more even if they also do lists. Am just not that bothered about myself.

Hi Viva we stayed at the Hudson last time we went on the recommendation of a friend. Really liked it, although the room was pretty small so check out room size for a better one

Hi Viva we went a year ago and stayed at the Intercontinental Barclay which I think had been recently refurbed. Got a good deal through British Airways. Room was a good size and there is a nice gin bar in the hotel, it's equidistant to Central Park and Grand Central station.

Is anyone else having a nightmare with the Outnet this week? I've been trying to order something since the weekend, all the fabric info has gone, sizing is showing as GLO and then the size, and I can't add anything to my basket. Only on the laptop though. App lets me add but still no decent product info. Rubbish.

Yes Pinterest driving me crackers too. I get no updates about boards that are being posted to and end up seeing loads of dross I don't want - despite having changed all my settings.

Ha ha dry, DH has been using the ‘father Christmas won’t come if you’re not good’ live for the last 2 weeks and it’s not even December yet!! My DH had the flu jab, I said he’d better not get man flu then or else or proves the jab doesn’t work! So we’ll see....

every my dad gets flu every year after the jab.

Shop the outnet has been rubbish for about a week. There never seems to be any new in. Not at the normal times anyway it's the same on app and computer for me.

I’ve emailed them. They sent me a 20% Off code over the weekend but I couldn’t use it as I couldn’t add anything to my basket. So frustrating. Will report back if they reply.

Blair was the hotel nice and in a good location, I ask as its coming up us a decent deal for us with BA too? I would prefer to fly Virgin but their prices are crazy.

Viva it's the only time I have been to NYC, but yes it was lovely and we found the location really good, we walked about 50 miles in 4 days! It was convenient for the subway as well though.
