Hello everyone!

I thought I'd start a new thread since we bought so much stuff we filled up the old one! Who's coming with me?

I would go with the smaller one neveradullmoment as it looks great on. I find the best way to maintain my weight is just to cut back on the bad stuff for a week or two when my clothes start feeling snug. I never diet, eat what I want but it does the trick!

neveradullmoment99 · 03/11/2017 11:44

Thanks :) Think i will keep the 10. You are all right :)
When you start allowing for the next size up, the weight gain begins!!!!

swimster01 · 03/11/2017 11:45

I have returned the Stella star jumper as frankly I don't think it is worth the price tag - shame as I so much wanted to love it

neveradullmoment99 · 03/11/2017 11:46

If its the thin summer one made of bamboo, you have done the right thing.
I returned mine as it pulled and holes developed.

brrrfreeezy · 03/11/2017 11:53

don't you generally find that with bamboo? I love the idea of it, sustainable and eco friendly but never find it wears well.

never another one who says the smaller. You don't want to ruin a nice skirt by always thinking it's not flattering.

ExConstance · 03/11/2017 12:19

I have the jersey pyjamas in Blue/Custard/white they are exactly as pyjamas should be, substantial jersey without being heavy and very comfortable.

RubbishMantra · 03/11/2017 12:59

I do find that with bamboo, brrr. I blamed my toenail at the time,... Shame, as it feels sort of silk like.

I think you're making the right decision with the skirt. Do you have to put leather protector cream on it like you do with bags and shoes?

ilovecherries · 03/11/2017 13:37

I am wearing my Katie crew with a long line teeshirt and the Erin trousers today. I'm a walking Hush advert (underwear by bravissimo though!). I'm just so COMFY. Were there ever clothes so comfortable to wear? I feel so nice in them.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 03/11/2017 13:40

I have just got my Dahlia dress in black/brown sugar - I think I really like it, but I'm not sure if it's too long/sack like. Planning to trial it on Monday. Has anyone else got this?

I'm a 10 in most places, but bought this in a 6 because I knew it'd be baggy and long...

I've loved my charcoal Tara this season, though - it's ace, and makes me feel really smart and put-together.

Laska5772 · 03/11/2017 13:41

Hush central here also! .. I am wearing my pink Lucie jumper from last year (though its in the archive sale right now) and my grey harems (working at home)..Smile

miffy2 · 03/11/2017 18:42

I got my (latest) order. Keeping the Katie in M and returning the L. Sylvie dress (small) is going back - the hem and the slit hit me at just the wrong place, making it look just...wrong. The feel of it and the colour are just perfect so I hope Hush bring out something similar. I feel maybe the Medium might be a bit longer but it is not worth the daily hounding of the site...

Having said all that, the throw-in item of the order, the Fiona scarf, is just perfect. It is so 'me' that it is being kept, despite my already owning in the region of 40,000 scarves.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/11/2017 04:08

40000 scarves wow🤥

neveradullmoment99 · 04/11/2017 09:57

Where do you keep them?

Theonlyoneiknow · 04/11/2017 10:27

I roll my scarves up and keep them in one of those ikea storage pocket pouch things

ilovecherries · 04/11/2017 11:06

Huh, ordered something for a present yesterday, paid premium delivery so I'd get it today, and it's still not been dispatched. Have asked them to cancel and refund the postage but main problem is I now have to fit in a visit to the shops before party tonight.

ilovecherries · 04/11/2017 12:49

Well, apart from my pissed-off-ness at their lack of premium delivery, I'm otherwise very grateful to Hush today. I have THE most horrific contact dermatitis after wearing a striped top (new and unwashed) from another retailer. It's looks like sunburn, with the bright white area where my bra has protected me. I'm dosed up on antihistamine, painkillers and steroid creams. I'm an absolute mess from neck to waist to wrists. God knows what their 'soft premium cotton' was coated with. Anyway, I was in so much pain I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to get dressed to get to the shops, but I'm wearing my harems and the reversible lightning bolt sweater and they are so soft and soothing. Everything else I tried felt like I was taking a Brillo pad to my skin. Hoping I will be able to tolerate the Ivy dress with legging by tonight.

chloechloe · 04/11/2017 15:43

That's awful cherries, hope you feel better soon! It always amazes me when people post asking if they need to wash brand new baby clothes - your post goes to show how important it is!

miffy2 · 04/11/2017 23:53

Ah I was just kidding it’s more like 40 scarves ;) ;). But yeah it’s one of those things I can’t resist. I have a hanger that has ring shapes on it for scarves so that’s full of the thinner material ones. The woolen ones and big wide ones are folded in a drawer.

From September to May I rarely leave the house without a scarf on :)

Last year I got one of the hush cashmere shawls for Christmas and it is simply divine. Can’t wait for it to get cold enough to wear it again.

miffy2 · 04/11/2017 23:54

And another typo. 20, not 40 (in case you all think I’m mad)

chloechloe · 07/11/2017 13:10

My order just turned up and I'm sooooooo disappointed.

Brooklyn lace blouse - completely creased in the bag so it's impossible to see what it looks like. It's quite short in length so not good for tucking, yet it has a straight hem which doesn't look nice untucked.

Silver Lurex star jumper. This is vile! Looks like I've bought it at a Thai night market and only discovered in the daylight how sparkly it is. The material is really thin and the stars are transparent. Think it could only be worn in the evening but even then it's just not worth the price tag.

Wool zip skirt in the sale - is ok, but quite long. Should have gone for the wrap version which looked too short in the photos.

So, all the above is going back which is really annoying as I have to pay for international returns. They've sent everything in a box which probably costs more to send. Would it be cheeky to return it on one of those waterproof bags from another online store?

On a good note:

The Love scarf is gorgeous. Lovely colour and looks elegant and expensive. Will wear it now to do the nursery run!

The jersey PJs are also a hit. Lovely thick soft cotton. Just wish they would cut the bottoms a bit smaller as the S is very generous.

Here is the blouse!!!!

ilovecherries · 07/11/2017 13:17

Yeah, I got the lured star jumper today as well, with the intention of wearing it with the Marina skirt, and when I opened the box I was 'WTAF'. It's not nice at all.

chloechloe · 07/11/2017 13:23

Glad I'm not the only one cherries!

I've just looked at the website again wondering what on earth made me order it but it looks so different in the photos!

OP posts:
ilovecherries · 07/11/2017 13:28

I know! I went back to look at the website as well, because I thought they'd sent the wrong sent the wrong thing because I couldn't believe I'd actually chosen that! Also got the Winona trousers in black because I had loved the navy, and the black is 2inches longer. So they are going back as well.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 07/11/2017 13:33

Chloe that shirt is in an appalling state! I received a dress last year that was similar - looked like it had been in the bottom of the laundry bag for a fortnight! Post a review and they may well get in touch and apologise - they've been saying for about a year that the warehouse aren't steaming things properly etc, but it doesn't seem like they've fully sorted this, does it??
