Has anyone tried the Rituals calendar? It always gets good reviews. I'd like to treat my stepdaughters. They are 24 and 28. I'm leaning towards getting them both a Look Fantastic calendar, I loved mine last year. Any suggestions?

lauramcd86 · 08/09/2017 05:01

@HemanOrSheRa I wish you were my stepmother Wink

AhYaBastart · 08/09/2017 06:17

Torn between Sleek and Body Shop for my dd! I like the John Lewis one- might get it for my mum. Not sure what to buy for my ds. Is there any special ones for teen boys or will he have to make do with a chocolate one?

Unicorn81 · 08/09/2017 19:12

Rituals is on sale now and i loved it last year! I liked it so much i got one in sale for this year and ive just got the new addition too! So ill use last years in Nov and this years in Dec! Good size products and liked more than Loccitane

Unicorn81 · 08/09/2017 19:15

Superdrug already have some online too and if yiur looking for other good skin care there is Decleor on sale now or Liz Earle are bringing one out too

I'm going to ask for the Liberty calendar as my Christmas present from DH this year. I'd much rather have a month of lovely things than something to open on Christmas Day.

How hard are they to get hold of? Is it just a case of fastest finger first at 6am on the 25 Oct?

caggie09 · 08/09/2017 22:55

Ive just commented on another thread a few month out of date, so to find a more recent one is great! I have found other people excited about advent calendars too. I had Asos, and both the Selfridges ones last year. The Asos one was poor i thought, products were abit meh. Ive been re-watching unboxings of these advents on Youtube and awaiting the day i can start ripping open the drawers to more goodies!!Just pre-ordered look fantastic and will be trying to get the Liberty one this year. Was going to order the John Lewis but didnt in the end. Gahh, i cant contain my excitement!! I will also be getting a few choccy ones, because one clearly isnt enough for meGrin

People who are put off by having to spend £35 on m&s clothes...

Last year I bought a jumper and the calendar, then returned the jumper without a receipt. Got store credit so could spend that in the food (and wine) dept instead Wine

Pomegranatepompom · 09/09/2017 15:18

Last year I got the Liberty and m and s ones, thinking of getting same again. Having mulled over the products I didn't like, it still worked out good value for the ones I did. Won't look closely at contents, like the surprise!

Pomegranatepompom · 09/09/2017 15:20

Tempted by jl one though and selfridges also had some good ones last year.

viques · 09/09/2017 15:24

We got the M and S ones last year and were disappointed in the contents, not nearly as good as the year before, though opening is always fun! I am going to go for broke this year and get the Libertys one. Actually I will try to get 2 and sell one on, but what's the betting this is the year they produce extra!

AllTalkNo · 10/09/2017 13:44

Look fantastic are now doing pre orders on theirs. I've just ordered one, due in October. Thought I'd give it a try, have had M&S previously which have been marvellous value for money but I agree that they're getting a bit samey.

Laska5772 · 11/09/2017 21:37

I am thinking Look Fantasic or John Lewis now ( was bit disappointed their 20% offer didnt work on it though.. that was last week , )

Laska5772 · 11/09/2017 21:41

Look Fantastic 20% offer that was ..

Bostin · 11/09/2017 22:21

I had the look fantastic one last year and I loved it. Still using up some of the products now.

christmasunicorn · 11/09/2017 22:36

I've preordered the look fantastic and treatbox advent calendars. So excited!

MathsFiend · 11/09/2017 23:03

You are all bad influences! I've just ordered the Look Fantastic box.....

Housewife2010 · 13/09/2017 07:12

The asos one is now available.

lauramcd86 · 13/09/2017 07:35

If anyone getting asos one is shopping in eur and not gbp change it back to gbp because £55 isn't €74!!!!!!!!!!!! Shock

BluebellGal · 13/09/2017 21:19

Can someone link to Asos calendar please? I seem to be stuck on 2016 page which is showing as £45 and sold out???

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 13/09/2017 23:08

Laska5772 the 20% doesn't work on pre order items, I contacted them about it.

I was going to get the look fantastic this year and the m&s one, look fantastic had good reviews for last year's calendar so I watched a unboxing video on you tube and was somewhat underwhelmed.

I have one in the run up to Christmas and another as my present from dh.
Unsure whether to get two now or just get m&s and pick some other full size products I like.

BluebellGal · 13/09/2017 23:14

Thanks Amber Smile

StripyBlanket · 15/09/2017 10:51

Has anyone managed to join the waiting list for the No 7 calendar? I can't get it to work
