The first one I've seen actually for sale is the John Lewis Beauty Advent Calendar. £149 with a great selection of products.

Me neither Windy. All the sites say "Will be arriving soon"

Where are you all looking?

BulletFox · 05/09/2017 08:55

Chocolate I think you're supposed to throw your beauty-crazed self at it 12 days before christmas Grin I assume it's based on the 12 days of xmas song about gifts.

I want 3 of them now Confused

The Diptyque one looks gorgeous but I couldn't splash out that much on just one, alas

Maudlinmaud · 05/09/2017 08:59

I usually get the yankee candle calander but will definitely buy the m&s one this year. I think you can get it a little cheaper if you buy two beauty products, I suppose in theory you could then give those items as presents.

BluebellGal · 05/09/2017 09:08

When is the Liberty one coming out? I've saved up for it! I know I'll love lots of the products if last years is anything to go by and the price will be worth it as I get a gorgeous set of drawers for all my perfume samples at the end of it!

VanillaSugar · 05/09/2017 09:11

25 October 6am bluebel put it in your calendar! !

I had M&S and No7, and really liked both. I've bought some full sizes of the M&S things, including the Shay & Blue perfume as I got so many compliments when wearing it.

The No7 built into a good collection including brushes and eyelash curlers, so it would be good for a younger girl to get started. It also had a voucher for a free full sized colour match blusher. That was good.

Amber0685 · 05/09/2017 19:46

2 more just added; Benefit and Estee Lauder

The nail polish in the M&S one look at bit odd.

TheImprobableGirl · 06/09/2017 18:09

Can't wait for the liberty one- £169 is a bargain really. (In context obviously!) I'm terrible and peek at what I'm getting early Blush
I've easily saved enough by the bargain boards- I'm also hoping for a lookincredible collaberation advent as I get their deluxe boxes and they're always worth it!

MsRinky · 07/09/2017 09:49

I had a Liberty one last year, and have obviously kept the box. And today Liberty have a gift with purchase allegedly worth £390 with any beauty purchase of £150, which has 23 products in which look very much like advent calendar contents, down to the mini Diptyque candle...

So today I've spent £150 on perfume rather than £169 on an advent calendar, but as well as buying what I really wanted have also got my advent calendar refilled ready for this year. Technically a complete bargain!

traviata · 07/09/2017 19:30

The Body Shop now have their cheapest calendar in stock at £45 (others at £66 and £95)

here

lauramcd86 · 07/09/2017 19:33

@MsRinky love your style Smile

BluebellGal · 07/09/2017 20:36

Msrinky - I'm jealous!

Is the Liberty box with drawers suitable for storing perfume samples (2ml). I gave hundreds of them and thought this would be great to use afterwards

BluebellGal · 07/09/2017 20:37

Hope that made sense! Just wondering if the box is decent enough to sit on dressing table to store hundreds of perfume samples?

hahahaIdontgetit · 07/09/2017 20:44

I bought the decleor one a few days ago, hidden it away until Christmas. I picked up a few nail varnish ones from TK max in the sales that are for my friends.

Oly5 · 07/09/2017 20:57

Is the decleor one nice?

HemanOrSheRa · 07/09/2017 21:05

I know what you mean Bluebell. The Liberty calendar is BEAUTIFUL. It's generally quite Wintery looking but sturdy for display/storage.

hahahaIdontgetit · 07/09/2017 21:19

Oly I didn't take a good look so I get some surprises, but I love the decleor products and they claim your getting over £120 for £65. Many are mini versions but I think there's at least 4 full size.

Yogagirl123 · 07/09/2017 21:23

DH brought our DS' advent calendars this week in the Lindt store!

Nanasueathome · 07/09/2017 21:25

I had the Liberty one last year and will go for that again
I also had the Jo Malone one and although it was lovely I did think it was expensive for what was in there
Considering that the Liberty one was approx £165 with value of £500 the Jo Malone one cost £260 ish and I reckon that was the value of the products in there

Alicecooperslovechild · 07/09/2017 21:48

Thinking of the Decleor one too. John Lewis website has a product list in the description.

Abra1d · 07/09/2017 21:53

Chocolate I think you're supposed to throw your beauty-crazed self at it 12 days before christmas grin I assume it's based on the 12 days of xmas song about gifts.

That would be starting on Christmas Day then?

Laska5772 · 07/09/2017 22:26

What do we think of the ESPA one? Worth it do you think >.. ( ive never actually used their product s but would quite like to )

Chewbecca · 07/09/2017 22:32

I had Decleor last year. The products were nice but very same-y every day, (almost) all face products, looked the same and some repetition. I am glad I got the products but it wasn't as exciting or thrilling as a more varied calendar might be, one that has hair, nail, perfume, make up & other products too.
