The first one I've seen actually for sale is the John Lewis Beauty Advent Calendar. £149 with a great selection of products.

No, they should be fine. They will all be sealed and once opened they have a certain life span.
Ive ordered it, got a free 30ml perfume with it worth £50 so happy with my purchase

I do think the CT make up is nice. I was also looking at some of the Rosie for autograph in M&S which gets good reviews.
