Housewife2010 · 03/11/2017 17:19

M&S calendar is out on Thursday.

DaisyRaine90 · 03/11/2017 17:21

Ooh had M&S one last year.

Still haven’t used everything but had so much fun with it.

John Lewis sounds good too though.

Does anyone do a perfume one? Just for different scents? I’m sorely lacking in he perfume department but have too many lotions and potions otherwise x

Saw this and thought someone here who don't buy the Look Fantastic one might be tempted Wink

Hi I've bought this for my mum as her Christmas present. There are two dark lines on the box. Not as noticeable on a pic.
It was £100. Im a bit disappointed. AIBU?

The Advent Calendars are arriving ....
louise5754 · 05/11/2017 08:15

You really can't see the lines at all in the pic. Much darker in real life.

Annabelle4 · 05/11/2017 09:12

I can see them and tbh if I was giving it as a present and after spending £100 it would bother me too, I'd expect it to be perfect.
Did you order it online?

My No7 packaging looks a bit tatty too but as it's for myself I don't really mind.

louise5754 · 05/11/2017 09:13

I ordered it online and have emailed with a pic. Not had a reply yet X

louise5754 · 05/11/2017 09:14

Whoever put the calendar in the box must have seen the marks.

louise5754 · 05/11/2017 09:30

Btw I named changed as on another post I asked for advice on money and now I'm moaning about a £100 calendar.

Annabelle4 · 05/11/2017 09:44

Let us know what they say.

BulletFox · 05/11/2017 10:09

Actually I only saw the estee lauder advent yesterday, apparently only 1000 produced. Looked quite nice!

wishiwasacollie I can imagine that to be irritating. I wouldn't like it either! I wish I was a pot plant at times

Nanasueathome · 05/11/2017 10:11

WONDERLAND15 gives 15% off at Look Fantastic plus a free gift if you spend over £60

MotherofTerriers · 05/11/2017 12:47

Got the ciate one from tkmaxx - they listed it on their website again and this time it actually turned up
Doesn't look as if Marks and Spencers will be out today

DaisyRaine90 · 05/11/2017 13:01

Is it greedy to get two😱 can’t choose!!

MotherofTerriers · 05/11/2017 13:40

I've decided to look after myself this year. Big time.

I'm using the Boots No.7 calendar for November and I'll buy 5 little things for the days following the 25th.

I can't decide whether to go for the L'Occitane calendar for December....

and for January

I'd like to go for some high end skin care, rather than make-up.

Because I'm sick of spending a small fortune on Christmas gifts for family and getting some Mandala Spa gift pack back.

(yes, yes, I know about giving better than receiving and all that; but just for once, I'd like to receive something I want rather than something that will bring me out in a highly perfumed rash Angry)

Annabelle4 · 05/11/2017 18:11

Gingernaut - I'm also using the No7 one for November Blush

I love it so far. I think yesterday's was the mascara, and that's the only thing I haven't been happy with. It's a full sized mascara but I'm convinced there's no actual mascara in the tube Confused

Hope you like yours.

Tequilamockinbird · 05/11/2017 19:54

Haven't RTFT so not sure if this has already been posted, but Debenhams have reduced the price of the L'Occitane calendar to £41.65 here. Free delivery too with code SHA5.

BewareOfDragons · 05/11/2017 20:10

I'm using the Boots No 7 for NOvember as well. [smi.le] Opened Day 5 this morning; my DD loves to 'help' me open them.

I'm looking forward to Look Fantastic for December

fishchipspeasandgravy · 06/11/2017 09:08

Look fantastic advent is £79.99 with a free Christmas jumper on iwoot at the moment.

Gingernaut · 06/11/2017 09:46

I haven't touched the mascara.

I put a bit of sticky tape around the lid and put it in the charity shop pile. Blush

I've got mascara and I don't wear make-up very often.

MotherofTerriers · 06/11/2017 10:35

I'm going to get the marks and spencers one I think - and then that's enough advent calendars, especially as I've bought 2 of each, one for me and one for DD.

But...once we get nearer Christmas, or even in January, there will be some at reduced prices (hopefully not the ones I've bought....)
